As is ALWAYS the case, this location of Made in America/​Made in Japan did the most outstanding job! Pat and Robert are the consummate professionals. They addressed ALL my concerns in a very timely manner, (suspension issues), coolant issues, and also found leaks I was not even aware of. They were very prompt on calling me with updates, and their prices are reasonable and very competitive. They will go the extra mile for you always, and they have definitely got the WOW factor!!! I If you have problems with your car, whether it be a simple oil change, to more complex issues like electrical issues, leaks, check engine light, drivability issues… you name it, they TACLKE IT with vigor! They have ASE ((Automotive Service Excellence) certified technicians, and Pat (the owner), has been a Master ASE technician for many years. I don’t like mechanic shops in general. My wife’s Tahoe was acting up and it looked bad. No way was I going to the last guy who fixed something minor and charged something major. A business friend told me about Pat at Made in America and said that he had been using him for years with good results. .heard that before.
Called Pat, who seemed nice. He arranged a tow for us, which I thought was convenient and then hoped for the best. I was surprised that it ended up being «not so bad»…and even more surprised that the whole thing, including tow was under $ 300…which I found out later was below average.
In short, courteous, knowledgeable and fair priced. I think I might have found a new mechanic. .thanks Pat.

While taking kids to school found out I had a tire going flat. This shop was on my way so I just stopped in. No appointment and kids that needed to get to school. Was greeted by friendly people who went out of their way to help me out. All I needed was the tire plugged. They had us on our way very fast. Then to top it off they did not charge me. Now that is good customer service!!! I definitely will be back. Pat and Robert were great. Thanks for getting me out off a jam guys

Made in America & Made in Japan is a FANTASTIC auto shop. The guys are great — Robert and Pat especially make me feel at ease and confident about my car. Whenever I’ve been in a bind, Pat has come to my rescue. He always fixes my car fast and at a reasonable price. Made in America & Made in Japan also has a cool «car report» they give you, which gives you an overview of how your car is doing, what needs attention now, and what will need attention soon — I love this because it helps me plan my maintenance needs. They’re honest and good people and they’ll keep it real with you.

Brought my car to these guys after it started knocking. Their $ 3800 and a few days quote for an engine replacement turned into two weeks and $ 4500. When I picked up my car the check engine light was on. I brought it to their attention and They tried to charge me an additional diagnostic fee to check it out, I declined because they won’t be doing anymore work for me.
The manager asked me to bring the car back after 1000 miles for an inspection. A few days later I lost all power on the freeway. I brought the car back, again they tried to charge me a diagnostic fee, which I refused to pay. Turns out they hadn’t connected the alternator properly.
In short, the job took more time and more money than promised. They wouldn’t accept responsibility for their mistake and attempted to swindle more money from me through diagnostic fees. I won’t go back to these guys.

This place was awesome. Impeccable customer service and they fixed my TL for a great price. If you want peace of mind go here. Thank you guys for your work. The only place I will take my Acura to.

I’ve been a customer of Made In America & Made in Japan since 2009. I have had them repair and maintain 3 of my vehicles; 2 1990s Honda Accords and 1 1989 Toyota Corolla.
They are always thorough in their explanation of what they discover is wrong and have always backed their work, checking and adjusting if necessary after a repair. Minor adjustments and repairs have been performed over the years at no cost. I’ve never had a shop do that for me.
They are located right across the street from the Sunrise Station RT Light Rail Station and transit center, which makes it easy for me to drop off and pick up the car, then use light rail to go home. They also offer a free tow program w/​limited area coverage. Coupons for certain repairs/​services are available on their website and in the Pennysaver.
They are centrally located and easy for tow service to find should you break down on the road and need to be towed there. A few times I broke down and they offered to wait after closing for the tow truck to arrive.
Cars have always been ready to go in less than expected time. Owner, Service Manager and Techs have always been friendly, patient, knowledgeable and honest. I recommend them to my family and friends.

Took my car in to get it repeaired needed a timing changed because I failed smog, dropped my car off, asked them to call me at work after the diagnostics so I know what repairs I needed, and they did, told me the price, said ok, did the service, offered a smog test at a discount, took a little long because I was expecting to have it all done when I got off work, but nevertheless all passed, got my car registered! Great friendly service! Would go again!

I frequently use the Arden Arcade location, and Victor and his team are superb. Tried these guys on two different occasions, and both times they screwed up. The first time they charged me to fix a rattle, and it started again on the way home. The second, they screwed up my door lock, and forgot to flush my brake fluid (as per my request). Turns out this shop has different owners than the Arden one. I’ll be sticking to Victor.

Great service. We bring our vehicles here to get maintenance checks and repairs whenever needed. The customer service is top-​notch and these are the most up-​front guys in the area (from what we’ve dealt with). Highly recommended.

So far so good. I’m not a very trustworthy person when it comes to auto mechanics, can’t even begin to tell you how many times something was removed from under the hood and not returned on a simple oil change. This place is different. I get a different feeling when I enter this place, they’re always reasonable. Robert is friendly, he normally greets me at the counter. I was down the street getting some tires the other day and a group of fellow new-​tire purchasers were waiting in the lobby talking about how good Made in Japan was just down the street. They’re helpful, fast, and so far I have a really good feeling about them.
