Pizza Guys

What a cool spot to host an event. I was dragging a bit after traveling most of the week and getting back to town just a couple hours before the event started. I am so glad I was able to make it out for this great event at such an awesome venue.
I have driven past this spot many times and figured it was just a distribution center. I had no idea the Pizza Guys headquarters were right here in Rancho Cordova, founded in 1986. Thanks you Shahpour Nejad for such a warm welcome, providing a great venue, and an amazingly great staff of folks. What a great event space right inside what otherwise, from the outside looks like just another office building. As soon as I walked in the door I was impressed in seeing it was all decked out in the motif of a cute little Italian plaza.
The staff at every stage of the event was fantastic. Big thanks to all who provided the little details that made the night run seamlessly. The test kitchen was opened up and I was allowed to create my own little pizza pie masterpiece with the staffs assistance. So many topping choices and a couple choices to sauce up the base layer as well. The result was totally delicious.

My husband and I came here for a Unilocal Elite Event. The staff were all incredibly nice. Here at the Pizza Guys Headquarters is where trainees learn the ropes and hold private venues. We learned a little about the history of Pizza Guys from the Founder. The Founder brought his east coast (Ohio) pizza style and opened the first Pizza Guy store in Sacramento in 1986. Most of the ingredients you order on your pizza comes from farms and vendors in California.
While enjoying their beautiful and spacious venue, we were served tastings such as the cheezee garlic bread, cheezee jalapeño bread, cheezee bacon bread, chicken wings, and potato covered jalapenos. Everything was good but my favorite was the cheezee jalapeño bread. Also, we were able to create our own pizzas in their kitchen!

PIZZA GUYS IS AMAZING
I had the privilege to visit Pizza Guys HQ the other day. Such a great place with great people.
Inside the building I was like WOW, who knew that the inside looked so cool. Have you ever wanted to go to Italy, Well their lobby will put you in the mood. It has that feeling.
Everyone who worked there was nice, and very professional, You could tell that they love their job. (probably a fun work environment). Never a frown on their faces always smiling. To top it off, they were serving awesome pizza samples
The pizza kitchen was off the hook. Full of goodies for us to make our own pizza’s. I stuck to an all meat pizza, who wants those veggies anyways. The ingredients were extremely fresh and there were plenty of them for our pizza’s. My pizza was AWESOME tasting. Now I want more.
Such a fun time with everyone there.
THANKS PIZZA GUYS FOR A GREAT NIGHT

I was honored to be included in an Elite Unilocal event held here at the Pizza Guys Headquarters. I have always seen the sign on the building while driving down Sunrise and now I was able to get a peek inside. Wow, it wasn’t anything like I expected it to be. First off you walk in to an entry/​lobby that transports you back to Paris and the cobblestone roads with lamp posts, park benches and arched store fronts. Looks just like the walkway in the Paris Hotel in Vegas. They have a conference room right up front with the awards on the wall of their achievements over the last 30 years. Then there is the kitchen that they use to test flavor combinations, do training and to have events for employees and franchisees. This is the location that new franchisees get their training before they open their new stores. They are here training and learning for 3 weeks.
Pizza Guys has been in business for 30 years now and it all started here in Sacramento. I learned quite a bit from talking to the founder, his son and the employees during our event and also tried some of the fabulous food and even made my very own pizza in the kitchen. I Thank-​you for the opportunity to visit your HQ and enjoy the fabulous food as well as experience your beautiful space. I imagine working here would be a pleasure.

My double pepperoni was a joke and they forgot our chili peppers and Parmesan cheese. Very disappointed.
