Precision Pools

Similar experiences like previous posts — I had pool done by premier pools then got hooked up with this company.
I used them just for chemicals only… as stated in posts before like clockwork the pool guy comes in and out does some chemicals, but seems to ignore what condition the pools is in (or just not care). I noticed a pattern of algae growing thought the pool guy chemicals would take care of it or at least tell me about it… NOTHING!!! THEY DON’T CARE!
In the beginning I noticed they would skip dates thus I had them keep a log of when they come, but I work from home so I know when they come and noticed when they did not come yet check the log they are sneaky they bring different colored pens to make it look like they came and wrote in a day in the future when they are supposed to be there.
The straw that broke the camels back was the fact my child noticed little black bugs feeding off algae they ignored to tell me about it.
I checked the levels it was TOTALLY OFF no wonder algae has grown… I ended up having to SHOCK CHLORINE the pool and used a sweeper to remove algae and the shock would kill the bugs… now after I did the work I figure I will just go it alone instead of paying for this lack of care and overpay for under work and not getting the chemicals I pay for. They had one job and choose to do it without car of their customers investment.
Please save yourself some disappointment I should have cancelled them when I noticed they would slack off or even write «future dates» the algae is just too much to ignore!

Like most of these posts we had a new pool put in by Premier pools and they offered a free 30 days of cleaning with Precision Pools. On the second visit I had to tell the pool guy that we were low on all chemicals and he said ok, 2 minutes later he was gone. He came every Friday like clockwork, in and out in under 2 minutes. And every Friday I tested the water and again high PH and no chlorine. Needless to say we’ve fired Precision before our FREE 30 days was up and are currently interviewing new pool companies.

Have been using precision for 6 years now. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service we get from Josh and his team. Keep up the great job. A customer for life. Jason and Josie.

We’ve been very happy with Precision. Our pool is so sparkling clean and they only come once a week for the basic service. I have to give props to James who always shows up with a smile and answers any questions I have. I highly recommend this company!

We built our pool through Premier Pools in Early 2015. Once the pool was completed, we were setup with 3 months of pool service through Precision Pools. Nonetheless, I was worried as I wanted to have the same great value as we did through Premier Pools when building.
Precision Pools did not disappoint in the value department. Josh and James provide value above and beyond in taking care of our new pool. They truly will do anything for their customers.
Precision Pools had hired an employee who was less than good on their team. In reading these Unilocal reviews, I believe he was the common denominator. He is no longer an employee there.
Everyone from the front office to the «pool boys» are just awesome. They truly provide value and care about their customers.
Our 3 months is now up and we have to find another company as they do not service our area. They said to keep their phone number in the event of an emergency and they would come right out and help us out whenever needed. Truly a great company.

PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS — it is my understanding that the issues associated on the reviews with the problemactic «pool boy» have been addressed.
As my husband shared, we were connected with Precision Pools basis our agreement with Premier Pools and Spas when we had our pool put in. Overall, our experience was pleasant. James was always more than willing to exceed our expectations.

Thanks so much for the great service Team! Kathy was always great and Adam did a wonderful job in our weekly service! We will miss you and hope that you come back to our area in the future!

Before using these guys please do your homework. I learned the hard way. I moved in my house and had to re plaster my pool. I went thru premier pools and they gave me a free 30 pool service. The service they gave me was through Precision Pools. Anyways once my 30 days was up I decided to continue with them. That was my biggest mistakes. I continues weekly service. And when they come they are here less than 2 minutes. In and out. They don’t check anything just strictly check water. That’s perfectly fine since that’s all I’m paying for however they miss on Fridays so he come Monday’s. And since he came Monday he won’t come Friday. To much of the meanwhile my chemicals are all out of line. The final straw was when I started growing algae o the side walls. He recommended I brush it. Which I did however the next day algae would appear so I brought my water to Leslie’s which they do free testing. It was way out of line. Acid and ph levels were out of line. Also called a different pool service guy to get another opinion and he gave me same results as Leslie’s. So I stop my service with them. Service guy was very kind and nice however his ability to maintain pools sucks.

This has got to be the worst pool service ever. I just had a new pool put in from Premier Pools, and part of what you pay for when you get a new pool from them is the first month of pool service for free. So I fully intended on keeping this pool service after my free month, but the service was so horrible that I couldn’t wait to get rid of this guy, and his half ass attempt at taking care of my pool. In the 4 weeks that he serviced my pool he not once showed up on the same day. We had a hot start done on our pool because of the finish we chose. This involves adding acid and some other stuff to the pool water, and you cant swim in the pool for so many days afterwards. Around the time that we could possibly start swimming he takes off out of town for the weekend, leaving us wondering if its ok to swim in our pool or not. No phone call, no notification on the status of our pool, we didn’t even know if he had been back out to check the water condition. The upgraded finish on our pool that we paid almost an extra $ 3000 for he totally ruined. I have big white blotches and white streaks all around the deep end of my pool. When Josh came out to look at the white streaking he told me that this was normal and he had never seen a pebblefina finish that didn’t look like this. WHAT! The pool at Premier with this same finish doesn’t look like this?! Come to find out, after having 2 other pool services come out and look at my pool, the hot start was not done correctly. This is why there is white streaks and blotches in the finish. He also screwed the water quality up in my pool. My new pool service said that the condition my pool water is in he doesn’t normally see until a pool is 3 – 5 years old. He recommended I drain half my pool and refill it. He said that if this was a public pool, with the same water condition he would have to shut the pool down. Not something that should happen to a 3 month old pool. Whats crazy is my current pool guy said that he also services about 5 other pools right now that have the same problem with the water quality, and they are all Premier Pools. I have no idea why Premier Pools continues to use this pool service for their new pool start up, but he is ruining pools all around town. If your looking for a pool service where you can never get a hold of the owner, don’t know which day your pool is being serviced and want to risk your water quality being screwed up, this is the service for you. Its not a coincidence that all of the other reviews are all 1 star.

BEWARE! It seems I am not the only one with the same experience. I literally watched as the pool guy put no chemicals in the pool to correctly adjust the levels. How do I know the levels were incorrect, well I tested it myself before, after and in-​between their visits. After finally getting concerned the levels would start causing issues, I decided to hire a real company, with great reviews on Angie’s List. They came out and said that the levels were dangerously off. I feel much better hiring a professional company. In addition, the guy that came out each week was nasty to talk to, had no desire to hold even a quick conversation. BEWARE!

The guy was nice, but I cancelled my service and had $ 35 due that I did not see the bill for, I assumed I already paid it. The next thing I know, they sent me to collections!!! If a small business wants to stay in business, they could at least make an attempt to call you about $ 35 dollar balance and OH BY THE WAY WE ARE SENDING YOU TO COLLECTIONS AND RUINING YOUR CREDIT. AHOLE.

Worst service ever! Do no not go here! They say they will clean your pool but literally spend 5 minutes doing «something» and leave. We asked for a comprehensive service and less than 3 months later our pool was a filthy wreck. We had real professionals come in and they said that nothing had been done over the past few months. If you care about your pool, please go somewhere else.
