I had the most horrible experience with this company. I call them for an appointment to fix our heater, which was a simple exchange of a $ 50 part. Joe Navarro, replaced the part without giving me a detailed estimate, which was fine, but he ends up charging me $ 586 saying that the part needs to get replaced. He replaced it without even giving me an estimate!
I ask him to breakdown the charges, and he says it is not possible. I was in a meeting and came out to negotiate and we eventually came to an agreement at $ 300. After he left i still did not think that was a fair price so I called to complain after finding out the part only costs $ 50 for less than 1 hour of work.
I ask him, unless he gives me a fair breakdown of the estimate i would put a stop payment on the check.
Joe, calls me back swearing, cussing and saying racial slurs that is inappropriate to even write down. This man is a racist and a con-​man. He did not have the capacity to explain the situation to a customer like any normal business would. Instead all he does is cuss, swear and call us racist names.
I would stay away from this company at all costs.

Technician came out and serviced my AC unit and used a harsh chemical to clean the vents. That chemical left a white residue all over my patio and he did not even bother to clean it up. He told me it will come out, but it didn’t. Well, the chemical left a stain that could not be removed no matter what «I» tried to use. I contacted the company and they have not done anything to correct the matter nor even return my call or emails. Would not recomment this place to my worst enemy.

Heater went out in the middle of me doing a long stretch of days at work. My wife made a few phone calls and Allstar was able to get out there the quickest. After assessing/​diagnosing the heater the tech (The state contractors site lists the owner as the only employee) — so the tech is the owner) told my wife that we needed a new ignitor and the control board was bad. Two things at the same time? I thought that was weird– when looking at the ignitor you could see the piece that broke off when he pulled it out because he did not loosed the bolts around it. He then told my wife that it would be 800‑1100 to fix it because the parts have to come from the factory and they were hard to get. The heater is 15 years old– I looked up the parts and they were readily available and totaled about $ 265. He was trying to screw us!
Had another guy come put and he tested the control board and it worked fine– he replaced the gas valve and the heater is working great.
I believe Allstar was dishonest and tried to take advantage of a female customer. Cost me $ 79 for him to break my ignitor and misdiagnose my heater.

This business is a fraud do not use them. I paid over $ 2000.00 dollars for a new system which Technician Joe Blow installed and it did not last more than a month. I contacted Joe back to come out to see what is going on with the system and knuckle head states its the batteries in my controller… REALLY! !! He came out and decided to walk around the house with his finger in his mouth saying wow I don’t know whats wrong with the system. He failed to check the system and the fan in the attic stating now it will turn into a service call for $ 35.00 each hour I am here. He continued to say he will be here for 3 hours. Do not use this company Joe is a real idiot. I hired an attorney to represent me with this case and filed complaints with the BBB and CC.

I highly recommend Allstar AC & Heating. They offer prompt service and excellent workmanship. Thank you Joe Navarro for your great work and answering all my questions. See you in a year for the annual maintenance

The technician was very proffesional and told me exactly what was wrong with my ac and how to fix it I called and they came out the next day to fix my unit which is a huge relief because of the heat where I live there was a 90 $ fee for them to come out and take a look but they wave the fee if you decide to do the work with them if I ever have any problems with my ac I will definatley call again!

Our condo in Chino Hills AC stopped blowing cold air, called Allstar Air Conditioning, technician Joe arrived as promised, checked out the unit and determine the compressor is jammed and needs fixing. Instead of waiting for warranty replacement compressor to be shipped from the current manufacturer, we decided to swap out the unit to a new one to get it done fast in one day so that we can have our AC back in for our 5 months old baby.
Overall technician Joe was very professional on site, waste no time to find the problem and even going through options with me and let me choose what is best for me and my family.
I would highly recommend them next time if you have HVAC servicing needs.

I just had my ac units servoiced by these guys based ont eh reviews here. Everyone talked about how they were walked thru the work and estimate.
I was not told before hand what was to be done nor was I given an estime.
I had an appliance repair man in at the same time and was with him, although the AC guy knew exactly where I was
I was handed a bill for $ 620.00 with out any warning to recharge two ac units and wash them.
I would not recommend them to anyone fro any reason, watch out, they will rip you if you don’t watch every little step they do.
On the plus they did give me a 10% military discount, after the ripped me off!
