We hired John Rassmussen and Custom Built Pools and spas after my client got burned badly by a non licensed pool builder that the General contractor had found on Craigslist. That «pool builder“s name was Rick with Ricks pools. He was not even a licensed pool builder unbeknownst to my client. Everything about the pool was completely wrong and most definitely would have caused significant damage had John not come along to correct the many mistakes. John was extremely knowledgeable, as well as professional in every aspect. He not only performed the highest caliber of workmanship, but also finished ahead of schedule. We were never left wondering what was going on with the pool project as John made it a point to maintain solid communication throughout the project. There were no hidden fees, or added on expenses, or attempts to up sell us on things we did not want. I cannot say enough regarding John Rasmussen and his work building pools. He is honest, diligent, and reasonable in every way. Our pool project which involved some complex engineering and infinity edge came out better than we expected with John navigating the the treacherous permit and construction process smoothly. He is very good at what he does in addition to making himself available for any questions. Superb. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

John Rasmussen and I had a deal for a pool,
and he tried to burn me twice for more money. Two others on our street also had a deal go south. This guy has «rip off» burned into his DNA. He can’t help himself! Get a lawyer involved from day one with this turkey!
