This place is fantastic. I don’t think there’s been a time I’ve been in there without buying something very cool… the vintage looking lanterns are my favorite. Customer service is great as well.

Holy arts, crafts & more batman!!! This place is AMAZING!!! After today I will never go to a Michaels again lol! I felt like a kid in a candy store at Hobby Lobby! I found everything I need to make the centerpieces for my sister baby shower & I found so many decorative home pieces I had to put my wallet on lock down so I wouldn’t walk out w/​items that I wasn’t really there for! The store was clean, the staff were very nice & the prices were fantastic!!!

This store makes me happy, it’s like an extension of Pinterest! I thought Michael’s was great, but Hobby Lobby is so awesome! So glad to work just right across the street, I can come during lunchbreaks.

The people who work here are so nice and helpful. I only shop here when they have sales. Wow large selection of merchandise. Great holiday selection.

Love this place. We had one back home (Texas) and I missed it after moving out here. About 3 years ago they opened one about 2 blocks from my apartment and I was thrilled!!! They have every craft item you could ever want plus so many items for decorating your home. They run specials every week and there App also offers a 40% off coupon that you can use once a day for a week.

Always happy to come check this store out… so much fun. best store to get ideas for any kind of project… extra fun for xmas

I always find something I want or need here. (Whether I truly need it or not)
I’ve tried many times to go into this store and walk out with nothing. It is impossible. My self control in this store disappears.
The staff is all super friendly. I somehow always end up with that one item that has no tag…(yes I’m always that one person In line, I’m sorry!!!) but they are so patient with me and find one with a tag or price of some kind somewhere.
I respect that they are closed on Sunday’s, but Sunday is always the day I need something! Lol. It is great to see such a big corporation still have those home grown family values.
I have nothing bad to say about this store. I truly enjoy walking into every hobby lobby, even my wallet appreciates it ;)

I used to love to come to this location everything about it is great except for the new manager is very rude the last two times I have been in she made me feel like a criminal for returning things. She said 1 item I returned they haven’t had in the store for 6 years which is not true and then when I returned ribbon today she made me go to the back to have it measured. Everything about Hobby Lobby has been wonderful but she made my experience making me not want to go back. Very sad cuz I love that place.

Went today to return an unused item. No lines like in Michael’s or Jo-Ann’s. Just fend for yourself. I have returned items before & was told any register. I waited in line about 20mins then was told I had to go to cashier #1 or #2. I was not walked over to be next in line nor did the cashier tell #1 or #2 I was next. Waited AGAIN. Then cashier #1 calls the lady behind me. I loudly said No I am next she said she didn’t see me. Only been standing in line about ½ an hour now!!! I got a little pissed I’m sorry to say. How could she not see me? She looked right at me several times. Also I had just a hobby lobby bag in my hand. Pretty obvious I had a return!!! Asked why isn’t it CLEARLY stated returns only on these two registers? She didn’t know. I asked why don’t they have one line & the next available cashier can help next customer? She didn’t know I suggested they should explore that option to make customers go easier & faster through their lines. She told me to contact corporate!!! Well I am cutting up my hobby lobby credit card & I shall ONLY go back if Michael’s or Jo-Anne’s does not have what I need. To bad. Nice store. Shitty customer relations down graded to one star for employees lack of professionalism

This store is HUGEEEE. You can basically find anything in here in terms of arts and craft. I usually get the coupons online and print them out or find it on my phone and have the cashier scan it at checkout.
The prices of some of the items are a bit better than their competitor. Michael’s. And for certain items, vice versa.
The store is clean and the employees are courteous and friendly.

This place is so huge that it’s kind of impossible to not find what you need eventually. I think maybe there should be a store map or something to navigate the place a little easier. My go-​to craft place is Michaels mainly because it’s been around for so long. I forget hobby lobby is so close. The location is right next to target so it’s über convenient and excellent placement. It’s a little hard to find help because the place is so spread out but the people that work there are helpful for the most part when you find them. Cashiers are slow (as all craft cashiers are) and a self check out would be super fabulous. They close earlier than Michaels which isn’t good for business. the variety of everything you could think of is overwhelming and awesome. It’s a little inspiring sometimes

Wife asked me a few years ago if I wanted to go to Hobby Lobby. Uh YEAH! Well, she explained what Hobby Lobby was and I guess it was my own fault getting excited about it when she asked if I wanted to go. I should have known better to think she wanted to get a new R.C. car or helicopter. Well, turns out this place is awesome. They have all kinds of cool metal signs for the garage and other things guys like to display in their garage. They also have several plastic model kits and rocket kits that don’t suck. Oh yeah, most of the time the metal signs are %50 off the regular price. I guess I should mention they have all kinds of decorations for the inside of the house and craft stuff… but don’t forget the signs. Girls when you go there, you should pick up a sign for any guy you know who has a garage… I’m sure they would be pleasantly surprised. The end

It honestly makes me so sad to give hobby lobby a poor review.
I’ll probably raise it later on.
I’m a frequent shopper of hobby lobby I keep up on all their sales and coupons, and I get really excited when I find a really good sale.
Usually everyone is so friendly and willing to help with ideas and such.
But when I went up to the register, I was really excited that all of my paper crafting supplies were going to be 50% off. (Yes I get excited over paper)
When he was done ringing me up I asked him «wasn’t everything supposed to be 50% off?»
He quickly snaps a no at me.
I’m like are you sure?
Again with a quick no.
I go «there was a big sign that said 50% off when I was grabbing everything»
I’m starting to sense an attitude and he goes on to tell me I’m wrong and that the stuff I purchased didn’t apply.
By this time he was breaking a sweat so I decided just to let it go and leave the kid alone.
When he was all done I decided to walk my happy little self over to the paper crafting area just to prove to myself that I am not crazy and that I am right lol.
And just to reassure myself I asked the lady if I was reading the sale sign correctly.
She was a total sweetheart (and in charge of that department) and told me I was right, & I should definitely go get my refund.
I KNEW IT!
So I walked to the registers and it was to packed & I had to get to a meeting, so I didnt have time.
I’m probably the biggest advocate on great customer service, especially in a time where it’s so hard to get a job. Shouldn’t everyone be happy and grateful that they are working?
I don’t want to seem like I’m crying about a few dollars, (I’ll just rant about it on Unilocal: P)
but what happened to «the customer is always right»? Or I could be wrong.
But, I’ll be back next week when I have my next project I need to complete. Hopefully I get to revise my review then.

Seriously one of my favorite places to be ever!!! Lol! They have everything you could ever need to make anything!

I was sent on a mission to buy freezer paper for my mom. Apparently it is used for quilting. Anyways, as I walked in I was flooded with the Valentine items and WOW, what a selection. I decided to make my visit a good one and walk up and down each aisle. I love all the seasonal decorations for the home, but then I wandered the craft aisle… I don’t even know what much of that stuff is, but it looks pretty cool. I finally made my way to the sewing department, and the clerk there was super helpful and found the freezer paper. I also loved all the metal signs. i can’t wait to go back.

Always impeccable service. So many things I could go broke here. I really want to make a big deal how they’re not open on Sundays but in all honesty it’s not that big a hassle to come on the other six days plus it makes for happy employees and nice/​friendly customer service is worth that day.

I really like all the neat items that Hobby Lobby has and I’ll continue to shop here since they have lots of different decorations for holidays and your home.
However, I had asked for help one time to find an item I had not seen in a while, velcro removable poster hangers, and the guys working there did try to help me find what I was looking for, yet after I thanked them after not finding it, I overheard one of the guys say «she had no idea what she was talking about.»
I appreciated the guys’ help but you should never make customers feel like they don’t know what they’re talking about just because you were unable to find what they’re looking for, and that’s why I’m giving 1 star. And it wasn’t just that comment either, one of them openly mocked me to another worker when I had told him that these Velcro poster hangers were the best thing ever.
Luckily, I found the Velcro poster hangers on Amazon, a place I should have looked in the first place.
For a place so heavily associated with Christianity, I thought this place would have better service.

This store is the first of it’s kind for me. It’s a store where you go in needing nothing, but come out with a bunch of stuff you never know you needed.
They have a variety of things here that are also decently priced. A lot of home goods, arts and crafts materials, and a giant selection. It’s basically as big as a regular walmart or a target.
If you have time to kill and want to find things that you never knew wanted but feel the need to buy for to apparent reason, come here!

Where was this store when I was planning my wedding!!!
This place has everything and anything related to decorating/​crafts you can think of. It reminded me of the Michael’s in downtown LA but nicer and easier to navigate around?
The cashier reminded me that they have coupons online and told me to get one on my phone when I was buying a regular priced item. How nice was that?
Sometimes it can be a little hard to figure out where you should be looking for the item that you need because the store is SO HUGE and has so many things, but you just have to flag down someone and ask and most likely they do have it.

This place is a hybrid between TJ Maxx Home Goods and Michael’s! Great selection of fun furnishings for your home/​backyard and then a galore of goodies for to satisfy your crafting/​scrapbooking itch. Pretty genius if you ask me since it is a good stop for both husbands and wives.
The store is pretty large, the largest of the Hobby Lobbys, I was told by an employee. There is another shop in Huntingon Beach.
The prices appeared competitive. We stopped by right before they were about to close which is too bad for me but good for my bf because we would have definitely spent some more time there: P
