Ordered a few tacos, fish, carne asada and al pastor. They all are good, not great. The fish taco was big and probably my favorite. We came for taco Tuesday and we will probably try it again

A few months back it was easily a 4 star place. Just yesterday myself, hubby and 6 year old went for lunch. The rice was hard, everything else was way too salty. Their taco Tuesday is actually mini taco Tuesday. One time I asked for more carrots for the salsa bar and the cashier digs out the last 2 from the container and says there’s still some here… best thing here is the 99¢ fountain drinks from the shell station that attached to the taco shop.

Food is pretty good, if they have it. Seem to always be out of what I order. Either they are out of eggs or out of Ranchero sauce or out of Al pastor or even out of tortillas. Today I ordered Machaca burrito and after 10 minutes of waiting, they inform me that they are out of Machaca and cannot make my burrito. Then I order a chorizo burrito with no potatoes and they gave it to me with potatoes and when I asked them they said I told them easy potatoes. I would never say easy potatoes because I simply do not eat potatoes. The new girl found it necessary to argue about what I ordered. I feel bad for the two people that are constantly there Day in and day out but that should not be the customers fault. I honestly will rethink coming back!

Bean and cheese burrito and carne asada burritos are the best. Cheaper than other places and treated better also.

My girlfriend and I love coming here in the morning for breakfast burritos. Or should I say she loves sending me in the morning while she stays warm in bed. Lambertos is a small restaurant that is in the same building as the Shell gas station. While that doesn’t sound appealing at first, the breakfast burritos are delicious and a good price. I usually get the bacon breakfast burrito which comes with eggs, cheese, bacon and I believe potatoes. The bacon is absolutely delicious and I haven’t had any bad tasting bacon from them so far(knock on wood). My girlfriend gets eggs, beans, cheese, and potato which is her favorite. They accept call in orders which is nice that I can just show up and pick up order. They also have a drive through window so you don’t even have to get out of your car. If you have time to spare they have about 4 – 5 tables inside with 1 – 2 tables outside. There is a small salsa bar inside with their home made salsas which a really good. I would recommend Lambertos to anyone around the Rancho Cucamonga area and any of my friends.

It’s pretty standard Mexican fast food. Not terrible. Not great. It’s convenient and the prices are decent.

I’ve had a few different dishes here. They make it pretty quick. It’s good food. Basic Mexican food, but quality and good taste.

Hate Unilocal doesn’t allow ½ stars. I’d give it a 3 ½. Good little drive-through. They have pretty good breakfast burritos. For the price $ 3.99, it’s a decent deal. There’s better options overall in Rancho area. Little disappointed they ran out of sausage breakfast burritos by 8:30 on a Wednesday. I got the chorizo which was I would recommend. I’d get that next time I’m there. Also, they’re a small operation and do not take AmEx, which isn’t a huge deal and did not affect my review.

Great food! I know its at a gas station. My review is just based in food quality and taste. I love the grilled chicken burrito. The other items are also delicious. So if you can get over the fact that your ordering g food at a gas station, this is good stuff and affordable also! My favorite local Mexican food spot. Its a small business so I understand having one cashier and one cook. No worries. I hope this restaurant does well, I would love to see the business grow!

I had to fill up at Shell today and noticed the Taco Tuesday special in Lamberto’s window. I usually wouldn’t go for a Mexican place inside of a gas station but what can I say? I’m a sucker for a good Taco Tuesday deal. Before entering I saw the«Help Wanted» sign in the window stating a need for both cooks and cashiers and expected service would be slow. No biggie. I walk up to the counter where a woman is waiting on her food and notice the cook/cashier(since there is only one staff member present) preparing her meal. I proceed to wait at the counter for 5 minutes while he’s busy at work, facing in my direction without greeting me. While I was well aware that I’d be waiting since they are understaffed, and certainly wouldn’t expect him to drop the food to immediately come and take my order, a simple greeting is warranted. If my business isn’t worth you looking up to say«Hi, I’ll be with you in just a second.» Then my dollars will be better spent elsewhere. After standing there for 5 minutes without a simple acknowledgement I walk my clearly invisible, Taco Tuesday deal loving self right back out the door. Note of advice: When you do find new staff to hire, please train them to greet and acknowledge patrons and make them feel welcomed and valued as they enter. Who doesn’t enjoy delicious tacos even more with a smile?

Poor customer service and very unsanitary. It’s disgusting to see flies all over and the cashier is the cook too. Someone ordered before me and I noticed that the cashier/cook did not even bother to wash his hands after he took some orders. And he was rude taking orders he would just walk out and do stuff while i’m ordering. So glad i cancelled my orders and walked out. He didn’t even say sorry. Don’t go to this place!!! You’ll get sick!

This makes no sense. None. Not at all. Now I hate Mexican food as a rule. It’s sameness, incongruous, cheesy, beany slop that merely changes shapes and meat choice. And fast food Mexican well, don’t tell ISIS as it would be a valuable tool for them. Which brings me back to why Lamberto’s makes no sense. It’s in a gas station for one. It’s very clean and they are very friendly. The portions are huge and the prices are lower than dreck like Taco Bell et al. What makes no sense is how good it is. Seriously, 90% of Mexican restaurants should have food half this good. Super fresh, tasty and yes, different dishes taste different, my primary beef(no pun intended) with all Mexican food. For example the egg and potato burrito is stuffed to the max and seasoned really well and always evokes a sense of being ‘homemade’. Grilled, marinated steak tips replace chop beef, real cheddar replaces whatever that doubtfully organic yellow ooze Taco Bell and so many others use. One could go on & on but the recurrent theme being it’s always homemade, always fresh, always tasty, always voluminous and always dirt cheap. To be honest we chanced it because we felt lazy and it has a drive-thru. Now, we’re hard pressed to find better basic Mexican. And in a Shell station. You know what they say about ass-umming right?

This fast-food Mexican joint is located in the Shell gas station on Milliken and Baseline; the drive-through is on the right side of the mini-mart. My Unilocal friends’ reviews range from one to four stars and I was in a gambling mood for breakfast, so I decided to throw caution to the wind and tried Lamberto’s. I went through the drive-through and ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, which contained sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, and cheese. Nothing fancy; just a big ol’ gut bomb ready to fill you up. Kudos to the cook for preparing everything just right: the eggs were nice and fluffy and the food inside the burrito was fresh and piping hot. One tiny container of hot sauce was included, but I wish I would’ve had a few more to spice up the burrito. Overall, not great, but not bad. The breakfast burritos are listed on the menu board as $ 3.99 each, but if you show up before 11am, it’s $ 3.50. I only paid $ 3.78 total for mine, which is a terrific deal for A-OK food.

This place is great! despite its not so awesome overall rating, I gave this place a shot because the breakfast burrito pictures appeased me. It was a Sunday morning and I woke up with my stomach screaming for food so I ran to Unilocal to find the nearest breakfast burrito joint. I came across this gem. Like other Unilocalers have mentioned, this is located in the shell gas station off of Milliken and Haven. It has a drive thru, thank goodness! The breakfast burritos all come with potato and cheese. Before 11 am the burritos are 3.99 which is an awesome deal!!! They are maybe 10in in length and 3 in in width. I ordered two(not all for me of course, maybe…). The bacon and egg and the chorizo. The chorizo was my favorite! it was fully of flavor and did not have much grease. Their red salsa topped it off nicely with every bite. The bacon and egg was also really good but it did not possess much flavor like the chorizo but that is nothing their salsa can’t spice up. The lady who worked her was sweet. I can see she was a little overwhelmed being that she was the only one taking orders inside and at the drive thru window. I will come again!

Hey, Let’s head over to the GASSTATION for BREAKFAST… what say you? Yeah Lamberto’s is located inside a gas station so you can easily miss it unless you stop in for gas, the lady who helped us was very friendly so we didn’t have an issue with service as some others claim to have. They have a decent menu and very reasonable prices! Breakfast Burrito — Bacon($ 3.99) Nice size burrito for $ 3.99 filled with Eggs, Bacon, Hash Browns and Cheese plenty of bacon, everything cooked nicely… and they have a nice salsa bar with a good salsa roja! Breakfast Burrito — Chorizo($ 3.99) Eggs, Chorizo,(I asked them to put Beans) Frijoles and Cheese a perfect breakfast burrito at an unbelievable price, I still can’t believe this all came out of a Gas Station!

I’ve been coming to Lamberto’s for a while now and have nothing but great things to say. I must admit I judged a book by its cover thinking how good a Mexican restaurant inside a gas station could be, but now I’m sorry I missed out on so many great meals when they are so close to home! One of the best things going is the breakfast burritos. They are huge, they’ll put anything you want in them, and they’re less than $ 4 before 11am. I particularly like their chorizo and egg with potato and cheese or egg, potato and sausage. I’ve tried all of their meats for tacos/burritos and everything has been great but my favorite here is their al pastor. Just this morning I stopped, intending on getting a breakfast burrito and ended up with al pastor instead! Their meat burritos and tacos are a little on the pricey side, but it is because the portions are huge and you really get what you pay for. They have mini taqueria size tacos or larger soft tacos and both are a good value. I recommend going for the full tacos instead of the taco Tuesday discount tacos because the cheaper tacos don’t come with any extras like guacamole. They have a convenient drive through and pleasant service. This is our only go-to for breakfast burritos in Rancho and a standout for home made style Mexican food!

This place does not deserve a star at all. Customer service is horrible, the food is great, but employees they suck at their job. Who ever trained them or hired them needs to make sure they are trained and customer service is number #1. Today when I went in the guy that took my order, it took him a while to answer me. First off, keep in mind there is no customers at all when I arrived and I’m positive. I had to say«hello» three times and he finally answered. During my order, I had finished ordering what I wanted, he didn’t even say the total to me at all. When I came to the window, he saw me and walked away and didn’t open the window to greet me or anything. It was dumb. So that’s why customer service for you guys sucks. Have that fixed, otherwise no customers will come and trust me, they won’t because it’s rude how you guys treat us. I don’t know what happened, to that one girl where customers love but the new ones sucked ass. Hired better and fire the rude and stupid ones. Thank you!

They have good food, but my reason for giving a low rating is because of my recent experience in the drive thru. I pulled up to the drive thru and the lady said to hold on. I waited about 10 minutes and she never came back. By this time I had a few cars behind me, so I just drove up to the window and knocked on it. I told the lady how long I had been waiting and all she said was, «oh, we didn’t hear it.» Not even a sorry. I was so annoyed. I spent about 30 minutes in the drive thru. NEVERAGAIN! I’ll be going inside from now on.

Whaaaaaaaat!!! Found this hidden gem 5 minutes away from my place! I don’t know what the other Unilocalers are talking about when it come to customer service. They were really nice here. When I ordered chicken tacos they gave me the shredded chicken. I can’t stand shredded chicken tacos! Although it was my fault for not specifying which type of chicken I wanted, they made me grilled chicken tacos anyway. They were so nice, and they let me keep the shredded chicken tacos. Two thumbs up! God bless the mom and pop spots inside of gas stations! I will be coming here ALOT!!! These tacos have the classic TJ street tacos feel, which is what I look for/expect in fast food Mexican spots. Classic red salsa made with the dried red chiles and green salsa made with jalapeños and tomatillos. Simple. They have two more salsas for the softies as well. The meat is grilled really well and the prices are great! Mini TJ tacos .79 and .59 on Thursdays. Bigger TJ tacos and crunchy tacos .99 on Tuesday. And large tacos 2.1924⁄7. Comes with pico and guac. Basically, if you’re a taco head like myself, you’ll appreciate the simplicity and the«stick to the script» vibe this place has. Don’t come in here expecting El Torito or Zendajas Mexican grill or whatever, it’s in a freaking gas station. But with that being said, this place is freakin solid! Cant give it 5 stars though. Nothing beats the street tacos in Mexico imo.
