First time visit with LensCrafters! Very happy! My doctor, Maria was extremely patient with my horrible vision, extremely thorough, and very kind! From the moment I walked in I was greeted kindly and felt comfortable instantly. I went into my visit, got my prescription and my lenses were ready in less than 30 min! I have not had an experience with an optometrist where I left feeling 100% happy, and with this location/​company I did! Thank you! :)

Honestly I went there thinking they were gonna be better cause they’re a big name and they’re HORRIBLE they’re more sales people than anything 1^st they suck at prescriptions SERIOUSLY I couldn’t even see good with they’re prescription it was too light 2^nd they gave me exams I didn’t ask for or NEED!!! Trust me don’t go there u will be wasting your money and have to go get another exam!!! I have to pay again somewhere else to get a prescription that’s actually good! UVE BEEN WARNED!!!

We are returning customers. Last time we were here we had excellent service. Unfortunately this time it was nothing special. In fact my children all chose the frames they wanted. The customer service specialist (Maria) helping us was very informative and polite. She went to the back and even double checked they had all the frames in stock that my children needed. After I had paid, someone from the back came out to tell her they actually did not in fact have all of the frames and one of my daughters frames would have to be ‘special ordered’ and wouldn’t be in for at least two weeks. Not understanding how this could have happened because she double checked with their on site lab prior to me paying. Now I’m forced to fill to prescriptions and have one child wait at least two more weeks for theirs! Had I known that I would’ve never placed the order in the first place. Expressing my concerns she had Nasim the Sales Supervisor come speak with me. To which all she said was the people in the back are new and this instance is a training issue they will need to address. I’m not satisfied at all this time. Signed, extremely unhappy!
Supervising Nasim called today and let me know that they ended up getting ahold of another store and they were able to rectify the situation by having the other store fill the prescription for me so the last pair is ready to be picked up. I’m happy that they took the extra step to fix what happened yesterday. Had someone offered that or even tried to fix it yesterday It would’ve been nicer but I’m glad they were able to get it all figured out for me.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Their customer service is very bad! It’s so unfortunate considering the location at the beautiful Victoria Gardens. Seriously LensCrafter you need to get rid of the ladies who worked there on 11÷8÷15 during 4−430pm, they do not have customer service skills, communication skills, or people skills! They were not approachable, not friendly, & rude! While I was asking the blonde lady and question after she asked if I needed something she stopped me while I was talking to tell a coworker something, then started talking to another customer who interrupted and didn’t come back to me, then when I finally got her attention back another customer interrupted and she again continued with that person. I understand we have off days, but this lady clearly seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. And the other 2 ladies behind the register/​counter were so involved w whatever paperwork they were doing that they seemed scared to help customers, they were rude just for not acknowledging customers, what happened to customer service first people? All I needed was to know what numbers on the tag to write down, so when I came back I could tell them which frames I wanted. These ladies were just rude! Take these ladies out and I’ll come back, I only wish I got there names and I’d give them to you so you can walk out if they were there, but I hope this employer really removes them and sends them to training!

I wish we can do no star it’s the worst place I ever been to, customer service horrible they know how to trick you I will not recommend to any one fist time and very bad taste

Had an amazing experience at this center after having a hard time at a different one.
From the start I was greeted by Jimmy, great person easy to talk to and the best part took the time to listen to what I was looking for. He had me complete paperwork, showed me where frames where and provided me with assistance choosing one. we proceeded to the exam where I was impressed with the level of technology I found with lenscrafters way above the normal eye doctor’s office. Now to the doctor, Maria Uy, OD was just a sweet heart, didn’t rush me at all answer all the questions and even took the time to educate my young daughter when we where reviewing the picture of my eyes. LensCrafters please recognize these amazing individuals they did a great job. For me and my family and friends LensCrafters will be my only choice when it comes to eye care! Thanks again!

I bought a pair of glasses and spent almost $ 600. Two months later I went back because the case broke. I asked for a replacement and was told they had none and that I would have to buy a new one. I will never go back there again. They were total jerks and very rude.
Don’t waste your time and money there.

Worst service!!! I thought the Ontario Mills LensCrafters was bad this one is even worse!!! Rude and incompetent workers. I waited 2 weeks for my sunglasses just to have them be done completely wrong. Then when I asked for the difference to get them done right she looks at like me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ve been getting glasses my whole life so don’t talk to a customer like she’s confused. If I’m so confused then explain it to me right don’t just pass me off. Obviously having a customer happy means nothing to them!!! I’ll be taking my business else where! Beware of Rosa she is rude and wouldn’t even let me speak to a manager. So annoyed with them. Go to Costco instead. I’ve never had any issues and they also sell designer frames but with better customer service!!!

I went here to fill an eyeglass prescription about 18 months ago because the place I got my exam didn’t have any frames I liked. That experience was great. I went back about a month ago to buy sunglasses, and it was anything but. The exam was fine, and I picked out frames easily enough. However, when I went back a week later to pick up my sunglasses (they were Oakleys so they had to be sent out), they had put the lenses in the wrong frames (wrong color). They remedied this problem by popping the lenses into a frame off the display rack. Did not make a good impression. I returned the glasses a few weeks later because I didn’t like the way they fit, and picked out some new ones. When I went to pick them up the next day, I discovered they had put the wrong color tint on them. I had ordered an amber tint and the one they gave me was purplish. The person who helped me then explained that the tint I had requested would just be done in the store and was a very unscientific process, as opposed to the tint that was on the sample pair, which was done by Ray Ban itself. That may have been common sense, but I wish somebody had told me that beforehand. I said that I would like to think about which tint/​lenses I would like before proceeding, and that I would call to let her know what I’d like to do. The person who helped me said that would be fine. I called back the next day and she said the staff had filled the order right after I left and they were ready to be picked up, even though I had asked them to hold off until I decided. I picked him and they seemed OK. A week later, one of the lenses fell out when I was cleaning them. That has never happened to me with any sunglasses I’ve ever had. I returned the sunglasses for a refund. Won’t be going back.

Poor/​rude customer service, mainly from the Management, which you would not expect. They have seemingly a lot of frames to choose from but the quality of the frames and styles are lacking.

This is simply an upsell factory. My sales person sat there like a bump on a log while I selected frames then encouraged me to get the most expensive pair. Then tried to upsell fancy lenses (for which she couldn’t answer any of my questions) and then the warranty. I politely declined on the lenses, though she relented. When I declined the warranty she gave me Attitude.
The frames are nice, though quite expensive and essentially turn us into walking billboards… The logos on these frames get larger and larger. I do have vision insurance but I did the math, for comparable frames down the street, it would have been cheaper to skip the paycheck deductions and buy frames elsewhere.

Terrible service. I made a appointment the day before. Day of appointment I come
In about an hour early. No one greeted me. I waiting for about 40 minutes before I finally saw they were just taking walk ups. I go to just cancel my appointment, being in customer service so long I don’t have much patience for bad service, apparently who ever I talked to the next day never set up my appointment. There was a blond lady that assisted me and a gentlemen before me I listened in on, bad habit I know, to say she was rude would be a understatement. I seriously hope they view these.

After reading a few of the negative reviews I was reluctant to try lenscrafters but I must sat they exceeded my expectation I my eye exam was quick easy and the Dr suggested a small change and I received my glasses the next day as promised I didn’t get a call as promised but I was informed my glasses were ready when I called and the prescription is perfect I’m very satisfied with the outcome

I purchased an expensive pair of Ralph Lauren prescription sunglasses from LensCrafters in May at Victoria Gardens. I have also purchased my reading glasses there as well. I probably spend upwards of $ 500 per visit when I go. I was under the impression because it says so everywhere in the store that my glasses were guaranteed for 90 days for any reason. Well, my glasses broke for no reason whatsoever. I didn’t drop them, the hinge just broke; it was clearly defective. I took them back within the 90 day period and they basically said, ‘Too bad for you.’ So now I have broken glasses that I just bought. I will not go back again. Ever. And i recommend the same for everyone else.

Wish I could give negative stars. We placed an order for two pairs of glasses, one for my husband and one for myself. We went with this store location because of the highly rated reviews on Unilocal,even though it is located 45 minutes from our home. The ordering process, while taking longer than necessary, was mostly uneventful. About a week and a half later, my husband gets a call that his glasses are ready on a Wednesday. On that Saturday, we drive the 45 minutes to the store. I run in to pick up our glasses and I was told they would be right with me and to have a seat. I did as instructed, and watched as 4 other customers came in after me and were all helped before me. Four different people say they will be right with me at different times. Finally, someone comes over and says that they do not have either of our glasses. I explain that my husband received a call saying his were ready. They cannot find any order for mine and cannot give me any sort of ETA for when mine will be ready. They make me wait even longer and tell me that my husband picked his glasses up 3 days prior. I explained that he did not, that he was waiting in the car with my children and had driven with me for 45 minutes to pick up his glasses. He most certainly did not pick them up already. The on-​duty manager kept disagreeing with me and I was told if I wanted to wait a few hours, a general manager would be in the store and could talk to me.
At NO TIME was I ever told they could order more glasses for my husband, and I was not offered any apology for them giving my husband’s prescription sunglasses away to someone else. I told them to cancel our orders and we would go elsewhere. I called the corporate line for Lenscrafters. The representative was very kind and apologetic but also offered me ZERO solutions, other than to tell me to go back into the store to have my portion of the glasses payment refunded.
I go back into the store and stand at the register for a minute or two, while being ignored by the only person on the sales floor, who was with another customer at the time. I just needed a refund. The woman told me to sit down at a table once again and she would help me later. I told her fat chance, that I had no intention of sitting at a table once again to be ignored. There were at least 4 other employees there who could have helped me, who I heard chatting in the back of the store. Only after I walked to the back and asked an optometrist to help me with my refund, did the woman on the sales floor feel it was necessary to stop making me wait after the deplorable service and gave me a refund.
The level of service in this store is deplorable and completely devoid of any management. Not only will you waste your time, you might never receive your glasses and then be called a liar by the staff when they give away your glasses to someone else!
My guess is: One of the staff members thought they would either give away or sell my husband’s Oakley sunglasses, not realizing they were prescription! That’s the only way I could imagine they would magically be given away to another customer without them noticing that they cannot focus through them and be returning them to the store.

Not a great experience. I was asked «What kind of insurance will you be using?» «Do you have vision insurance?» and «I see they didn’t list your insurance carrier. Do you have one?» But then I only talked to three people.
They took down my medical information wrong cause they were in a hurry. The doctor suggested I not do the dilation because it would be an extra cost. But when I left they asked me to sign a form that I «refused dilation» and that the «risks had been explained to me»; neither of which is true.
They always have some «sale» on lenses but it doesn’t apply if you have insurance. Frames are way overpriced and buying them is the only way to get the sale on lenses. I found comparable frames within a couple miles for less than a third in cost.
They do have some nice machines but the staff leaves everything to be desired if you want them professional and knowledgeable.

I just picked up my new glasses. Love the new store at VG. Right at the corner of the water fountains where the kids get wet and next to Childrens’ Place.
They have cool high-​tech equipment. The tech will take several photos of you with different frames so you can see and compare.
My glasses took a little longer than an hour, but that was not a problem since we walked the mall to kill time.
Staff was friendly. Place is very clean and pleasant.
Austin was very helpful.
Downside: no restrooms but public were not too far away.

What a great LensCrafters this place is, I’ve used the chain in the past and been somewhat happy, but this location is the best!
Dr. Sinn was outstanding she sorted out my eyes in no time flat and Kelly the tech was exceptional, both have great personalities perfect for this profession.
I went in looking for replacement contacts and ended up with new contacts and glasses for me as well as contacts and glasses for the missus. My lenses were kinda complicated so they had to have them done at the Ontario store, which they did with no drama, I’ve never been happier with glasses. I’d definitely recommend them, great experience. Thanks a lot.

Bought my God daughter some retro funk ray-​band frames and lenses found them in this location Maggie was very helpful again! Great price.

What a great experience! Dr. Sinn is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff members are all very helpful and friendly as well; and help you find the perfect pair of glasses. I will definitely be going back.
