Rancho Pet and Feed

I have been there twice prior to today, Cali was there both times, Very Nice — really outgoing and super kind, today i went there and the staff was again very nice, but the frozen bones i bought my dog were rotten upon defrosting them they stank the house up, thank goodness i didn’t do what i normally do and throw it in the yard for him to eat, due to the heat !! I gave it to him in the house, I bought these same 2 count 4 inch bones once a few months back for him at Rancho feed with out any issue. I called them and they said to bring them back for a exchange, that to be a hassle, as i will spend alot off time to return and exchange a 9 dollar purchase, I also have to store them in the freezer till i get time to return them, and then make a trip there just for that, I personally don’t want to exchange them, i may get another couple of bad ones as they all seemed to have the same exp date on them, Ive bought frozen raw bones from CW-​FEED about 6 times so far and never a bad batch, i know it may not be Rancho feeds fault, and they may have been unaware of it, but !! when i told them. they never expressed any concern re the other inventory, as it made not be safe to sell, evident by there suggestion of having me replace my rank bone with same style bones from the same shipment to resolve my issue? A offer to refund would have at least led me to believe they shared my concern, or some indication that they would pull it till they knew it was only my bag that was rank. I will return for a refund and go back to the other feed store that appears to be providing me with safe healthy options for my dog every time, Friendly staff is important but a safe food and treat source is is the more important of the two so, sorry rancho but my dogs health comes first.

I am writing this review because yes you can probably get most of their products at Petsmart or HomeDepot, but you cannot get the service, knowledge or quality at those places. Rancho is hometown America with all of the quality that comes with shopping at a store run by family. They will get my business as long as I have four legged friends.

Everything was a overpriced… They charged me more for a salt rock then it was marked as. After I said something they apologize. Later I went over to petsmart they had the same products for 4 – 3 dollars less. Came and return the stuff I brought here. Not much to choose from since it’s small.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. That’s what I call great customer service.

Business well organize they have whatever you need for your Pet in my case a dog also on the weekends a clinic offer vaccination. customer service is really good.

Very small pet shop there fish, looks very poorly kept they don’t even carry koi fishes for God sake. Oh there bird feeder are way over price for an example one of the low end bird feeders is 25 $ and Home Depot Carrys the same bird feeder for 5 $. Me not Likey at all. STEP IT UP RANCHO FEED!!!

This is a very small pet store. They had a small variety of dog food, toys, fish supplies, etc. they had a few fish tanks and some rats. They did have a bunny! We were asked if we needed help and they were friendly. Just a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected with a small pet store.

All if the staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted my wife and I in picking a grain free dog food. They also didn’t try to sell me supplements my dog didn’t need when I asked about them. I greatly appreciated their honesty. I’ll be buying all my dogs food from here.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly! I love that they carry the bag of food to the car for me, too!

I gotta say, the staff was friendly, and very knowledgable. I was in and out in no time.

We stopped in at Rancho Pet and Feed just to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised at the great selection of high quality dog food and treats at very reasonable prices. Perhaps the best thing about the store is the friendly and informative staff. Rancho Pet and Feed is a wonderful alternative to the big chain stores. We will definitely use Rancho Pet and Feed as our main source for pet supplies from now on.

I located Rancho Pet and Food not long after moving to the area. I needed a Pet Store that was willing to special order cat food for me. They were more than willing. No extra charge for special orders and they are so nice here. I love supporting my local community and more so small business so I was so happy to find Rancho Pet and Feed.
For special orders it is super easy. Call on Thursday and they will have it on Friday for you. They even carry it to your car for you.
I have not browsed the whole store but have purchased a couple other items from them for my cats, they are a little more expensive than the big Chain Stores but I am all for helping my local small business’s.
I recommend Rancho Pet and Feed for all your pet needs. (I think they even have large animal feed such as hay etc…)

After doing a lot of research I wanted to buy a new kind of dog food that was not full of junk. Of course, price was also a concern given that I have 3 dogs. I finally decided on Chicken Soup dog food but found out that they don’t sell it at Petco. I found this store online, called to make sure they had it in stock, and came in the same day. The lady at the front remembered me having called, had someone pull the bag right away, and they took it to my car for me! It was super quick and a great price! Customer service was great, parking is right in the front, will definitely keep shopping here for my dogs’ food.

A great store from which to buy your pet supplies. A nice selection of dog food – much better quality than you find at the PetSomethings. The staff are so much more knowledgeable and friendly too! Lots of toys, treats, clothes, beds… etc. You can find anything you need here. I think they even sell hay. And if they don’t, I’m sure they would direct you to where you could. But I don’t need hay. Not this week, at least.

Short version: a great pet/​feed/​fish store in Rancho Cucamonga. A small business run very well with great customer service.
Longer version: I most come here for dog supplies. Toys, food, collars, chains, etc. But their fish section is great too. I haven’t bought any fish, but they all look healthy (salt water), and it’s always fun to go peeking about like a little kid at the fish store: o)
Recommendation: go and patronise a local business that knows how to treat its customers. Additionally, they have vaccination clinics every so often, so Fido will be happy if you help keep him healthy: o)
