Save A Heart CPR

A buddy of mine recommended Save a Heart and I needed an ACLS class on short notice. Both Vince and Ryan were awesome in accommodating me right away. The online portion from the AHA was challenging at first but became straightforward once you figured out the correct sequence of events. Ryan did the hands-​on skills portion and was great.
Highly recommended and will definitely come back to renew again.

Hands down the best ACLS training center I have ever had! I bought the online AHA ACLS and didn’t get around to finishing it for months, and Vince was so kind and patient enough to help me get thru. Vince was very easy to communicate with, replies right away, takes an extra mile to answer all my questions, and is always ready to provide advice while going thu the online megacode scenarios. The place looks clean and new, the classroom felt very conducive for learning, and the instructor Vince is very knowledgeable and presents the situations in a simple and clear manner. During the skills session, Vince has a very calming aura and non-​threatening demeanor that puts you in a comfortable position to confidently answer the questions. He not only gave me a quick run-​thru review of the subject but I didn’t even realize that I was already doing the skills test! I didn’t feel rushed or pressured or dumb whenever I got the wrong answers, instead I learned a lot more as how and why I didn’t get it right. It was a very pleasant and rewarding experience, it was money well spent for! I have nothing bad to say because the overall experience was excellent!!! I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know!

I had a incredible experience at Save a Heart and would highly recommend. I ended up being the only person in the Heartsaver CPR AED course so I got great attention and instruction. Ryan was a fun instructor and was very knowledgeable, respectful and professional. Prices were the best I found for a CPR certification. My class lasted about 1 and ½ hours and I left with my physical certificate. Facilities were nice and clean.

Since I missed the CPR class at work, I was on my own to renew my CPR card, so my research began on Unilocal.I came across a few places, but Save A Heart CPR seemed to have the best deal. It was close to home, reasonably priced, and the class I needed was offered at a convenient time for me.
The Heartsaver CPR/​AED course costs $ 46.75 if you already have the current book, $ 63.25 if you need to purchase it. This was considerably less expensive than taking the course through the City of Rancho Cucamonga ($ 82.50). I registered for the class online, showed up for my Saturday morning class, and renewed my CPR card in an hour and a half! It couldn’t be easier!
I’ll definitely be back in a couple of years when this card expires!

Vince is an awesome instructor! I had my ACLS/​BLS renewal combo today with him and it turned out perfect! The course was well-​presented. Vince was very knowledgeable, warm and patient. The place was immaculate clean. I’ve done my renewals from other AHA certified centers but i would definitely come back to Save-​A-​Heart… I got immediate response from Vince when i called to inquire about their classes. I especially like how they make their students feel comfortable during the class and made sure every student understands the course. Stress-​free and at the same time, I learned a lot from Vince. This was my first CPR class, Ryan made it very fun and interesting and somehow made so much information retainable. I will defiantly go back in the future.
As far as registering and getting information Vince was very helpful. We had an issue with PayPal charging twice for the class and he resolved the issue immediately. I was actually dreading the class but left very satisfied. Thanks guys for a great experience.

Very though-​rough instructors are nice and friendly, class was enjoyable and most all are kinda boring in my experience in other cpr classes. But this was fun. Made and joked around with me because i was late and said as an emt your late i just killed someone and i was like ahhhhhhh no… YOU Got me there hahaha Super fun. I recommend anyone to go here and you get your CPR card at the end so added bonus. Thanks guys for a awesome class and experience.

I took the AHA (American Heart Association) BLS for Healthcare Providers today at Casa Colina in Pomona. I signed up online at

It took less then 5 minutes to complete the process and pay online. Edit after correction: the entire course was $ 66 plus $ 2 transaction fee. If you have the BLS book, it’s about $ 10 cheaper. This is a very good rate for this type of course. Shop around. You won’t find any place with the quality or the great rate.
I am not a nurse. My career as a Mental Health Professional has encouraged maintaining adult and child CPR, but my mother who is a 30 year nurse practitioner has always encouraged me to complete the BLS. Today, I did that.
I walked into the nice grounds of Casa Colina and into the classroom that was neat, tidy and well prepared. The room was clean. The area was safe. The testing materials were sanitary and in great shape to be utilized. The instructor, Ryan Pratt, was on time with all the materials and was informing us in class objectives prior to getting started. I personally felt intimidated just because I was not a nurse or nursing student who had been exposed to medical terminology day in and day out.
However, Ryan was very reassuring. He explained details, core concepts, and answered lingering questions we had. He also provided up to date information that the AHA was preparing to implement that the training manual hand not yet updated. We were also provided with additional insight to some more advanced life support techniques, should the occasion arise that they are needed. It was very very useful.
As a therapist, who encourages and structures role plays for maximum skill retention, I was terrified about performing in them today. However, they are necessary. Without performing the skill, watching peers, and receiving immediate instructor feedback it would be impossible to create a closed loop of information. I was able to develop an immediate muscle memory of what I just preformed. Ryan also challenged us in the role plays, providing real life examples of distractions, fluctuations in heart rate, or throwing a surprise in what seemed to be a simple CPR situation. It kept us all on our toes.
He was very thorough and patient with explaining concepts that we didn’t not grasp. He was great at repeating statements and keeping us engaged. He was creative, imaginative, and jovial. It made the course pass by quickly. And that break is always appreciated! The test administered at the end was nerve wracking simply because it’s a test. However, Ryan prepares you so well that failing isn’t really considered an option. He provides a few minutes for review and hands the test out. After scoring is complete, if any answers are incorrect, you are able to review the correct answers in the booklet. The score your aiming for is no more than 4 incorrect on a 25 question test.
If you have a passing score, you will receive your AHA card right there prior to leaving. you can then take it to your HR department so they can verify. It’s super simple.
Ryan’s volunteer assistant was his son. Who was so knowledgeable about the BLS process itself. He was able to provide support of students needed assistance of Ryan was assisting another student and could help with assembling the equipment. He was also an invaluable resource.
I highly recommend taking the course with Ryan Pratt. When my renewal is due, I’ll be signing up with him again. Thank you Pratts!

Booking for my BLS renewal course was simple and easy. The class went smoothly and Ryan was an excellent instructor. Ryan made sure that anyone who made a mistake knew what the mistake was and he reviewed it with them to confirm understanding.
Ryan presented the content well and was never boring or monotone. He spoke clearly and kept us alert and engaged.
I received my card and an extra copy to submit to my employer at the end of the class. Excellent!

This was my first time taking a bls cpr class. I found them on Unilocal.Thanks Unilocalers… I called the day before my appt and spoke to Vince. He was very informative and courteous. While I was on the phone with him he help guide me to the class that best for me. Luckily because I probably would’ve choose the part online and part in class. Then I signed up, paid and received my email of confirmation.
Before class I spent 15 mins on the study guide. So if you have time study that it will help a lot. Arrived on time and met the instructor Ryan. And when the other students all arrive Ryan gave a very warming introduction. They also have snacks snd beverages. It was just 3 student which was great because he can individual give us the extra help. Ryan paused the video several times so we can write down our notes. He said he doesn’t always do that. Yet, because we only had 3 student and 2 people were getting certified for the 1^st time. Glad I brought my notebook because there’s a lot to cover. We perform on the dummies (adult & infant) and if we were not performing correctly he would demonstrate it properly. He also gave real life scenarios and I very much appreciate that because I really can imagine it. Not going to lie. Performing chest compression was very tiring for me. It was a work out. After the video and the demonstration. We all took a multiple choice test. You can only miss 4 out of 25 questions. He grades it when you turn it in, marks the ones that were incorrect, ask us to read back the ones we missed and explain why it was wrong. Very thorough. I learned a lot in a short amount of time. I also got my bls aha cpr card right away plus a copy one for the hospital. Definitely, recommend save a heart.

I emailed about 8 different companies for pricing and Vince was the only one to respond immediately. He was so helpful, patient and willing to answer all of my questions.
As for the actual course… AMAZING! Richard is another patient one. He took the time to make sure the class understood every bit of material. He thoroughly explained the material and even went in depth with helpful medical information that’s not required in the class. I learned so much from taking this class.
