Dr Aina Serrano has been our family dentist for 6 years now and we are so happy with their service. This dental office have everything that we were looking for… Very clean office, warm and friendly staff, ease of making appointments, honest and excellent dentist. Kim in the front desk always greets us with a smile and will clearly explain and answer all your billing questions. Dr Serrano is very skilled, professional, precise, does not rush her work and genuinely cares about her patient. During a procedure, Dr Serrano makes sure that I am comfortable and checks with me several times to note my comfort level. Dentistry at Empire Lakes is the place to go for dental work! Highly recommended!

Such a great dentist office. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. They take the time required to explain what needs to be done in depth. Kim has always been wonderful working the front desk, and Heidi who I just met the most recent visits is very very sweet. I like that the staff makes every encounter feel personal, and that you’re not just another appointment of the day. Would highly recommend.

This office is the BEST I have been to. I love the positive energy, from every employee there. Dr. Serrano including her staff are healers. They care, they are gentle, and they are not just about MONEY. It is ok to do the cheapest things at first, but its also best to take care of what is the most important so you dont have to redo work and pay more down the road. She is meticulous, and not hasty, gentle with the needle and I am looking forward to going to my next appointment. I cannot say that about alot of businesses in general. I highly recommended her to my sister, my friends and will continue to promote her business even on my television show! Woo hoo! I found a dentist that I feel safe with, and trust! I can’t share with you how important it is to find a great, dentist. I’m 48 and have obviously had my share of dentists but about 4 years ago I found this place by referral… I absolutely love it. The dentist is loving, caring and treat you as if you are their only client. I use to live here in Eastvale but now live in Moreno Valley. My entire family loves this place. We have no problem driving the 35 miles. Once you find a great dentist it’s hard to leave.

I absolutely love Dr. Serrano and her amazing staff. They make coming to the dentist a positive experience. Kim and Heidi are always so welcoming and friendly and make me feel comfortable. This office is super clean and have friendly staff I haven’t been to a dentist for while because… 1) I’m scared of them and 2) the cost. When Dr. Serrano completed my exam she thoroughly explained what I needed and why including my options, then we talked about the pros and cons of each one! I’ve never talked about teeth for that long, but I learned a lot and really understood our plan. So when I came for my second visit for work, I was really at ease. Kim worked well with my insurance and was sensitive to my financial situation, no pressure at all.
I work in customer service myself and know how difficult it is to please everyone, I really appreciate the effort they make in making their patients feel comfortable. Im shocked with the other reviews of upselling, maybe they were just explaining the other options? I’m so happy with this dentist that I already referred my mom and sister. Thank you Dr. Serrano and Kim!

If honesty and accountability are important when choosing a dentist then Dr. Serrano at Dentistry at Empire Lake is the place to be! The office is clean with a warm, welcoming staff and to top it off, the equipment is state of the art.
The prices are never hidden and I’m always informed of options and alternatives to care when i visit. Although there may be multiple patients waiting for treatment, I always feel like the only one there with my own personal dentist.

Dr. Serrano is an awesome Dentist. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable, professional Dental Office. The equipments they use is second to none.

It is VERY rare that I got full 5 star reviews on any establishment, but I have to say this place has earned it in my book. I had a couple of bad experiences at the dentist as a kid that created such a phobia for me that I had not gone to the dentist in 12 years! I was a basket case just coming in for a checkup and cleaning. My boyfriend was in desperate need of a cleaning and exam as well, so we scheduled our appointments back to back so we could be each other’s moral support.
The first thing that blew me away was how clean and professional the office feels. The receptionist and office staff are incredibly sweet and caring, and Dr. Serrano herself made me feel like she genuinely cared about me. I was explained in straightforward terms what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost me. I did not feel like I was being upsold, and it was made very clear to me when a service I was being offered was something I needed to get done or something that was just recommended. My boyfriend and I are extremely satisfied with the care we received, and we are very happy to have found a place we can trust to come back to!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Serrano for a couple of years now. I have had routine cleanings, x-​rays, crowns and other dental procedures. I was happy to find someone who is not only very knowledgeable and professional in what she does but also who is patient and explains the ins and outs of what is going on with my teeth (if anything) needs to be done. I never feel rushed and I always feel comfortable asking questions and trusting that I will get an honest response. The cleanings themselves are quick and painless! The staff are very nice and friendly. I also want to mention that this place is very accommodating when it comes to making appointments, especially if you have a hectic schedule, they always work with me with my busy schedule which I very much appreciate. The clinic itself provides a nice relaxing environment, very nice and well decorated, the equipments they have are well maintained and looks brand new unlike some of the dental offices I’ve visited in the past. The bottom line is, I always have a good experience and am very pleased with my visits with Dr. Serrano that is why my family and I highly recommend her for any dental procedures you may need!

I am probably one of the «very few» people who get terrified and definitely do not look forward to dental appointments. Dr Serrano absolutely changed all that for me. Her excellent, calm and light hands gave me a sense of peace and helped me stay relaxed sitting on that dental chair. She carefully takes her time to examine the condition on my teeth and gums. She does not hide anything instead tells me what is my current condition and offers different solutions… I love that, SOLUTIONS and options. Yes, sometimes it hurts to learn your real condition but I realize, this is the only way to make whatever is wrong… right. Dr Serrano is straight forward, she tells me as it is and never made me feel she is in a hurry. Her staff are the most accomodating and are the friendliest. Dr Serrano will be my Dentist for as long as she can continue practising.

I always start with something nice to say, because mom always said if you don’t have nothing to say don’t say it at all.
The staff here is 100% amazing. Super nice and attentive.
However, I had a terrible experience as a child with the dentist and that had left me terrified of the dentist. On my visit to see Dr. Serrano I explained this not only to all of the assistant’s but also to the Dr.
She proceed to with the exam and informed me that my mouth was pretty bad. I was a little taken back by it because I take pretty good care of my oral hygiene. With the exception of a deep cleaning. (Strike 1). The Dr. Then lets me know that I would need 4 root canals, a deep cleaning, 12 cavities filled, and an implant. I was really shocked then… 4 root canals?? I thought to myself my gosh I haven’t been taking care of myself as well as I thought. And it had only been 1 ½ since I’ve been to the dentist and mind you I haven’t had any problems, nor pain. So she proceeds to show me a video of what needs to be done and how it will be done, which I thought was cool. But right before the video ended, (which I thought was the importance of the video) Kim cuts it off and immediately goes into pricing (strike 2). at this point I’m feeling pretty pressured and rushed, because the doctor is standing over Kim and I and speaking to through Kim to me. First of all I didn’t go in for this at all. I only asked for a flipper and dental implant information. Kim then takes me to the front to set up an appointment and tells me it’ll be $ 1300. And tells me I can apply for credit to handle it. (Strike 3). I didn’t like the assumption that I couldn’t pay for it.
I went to get a second opinion at Hospitality Dental less than a mile away from this office. Dr. Bernstein examined my mouth and reveals to me that I only have 7 cavities and need a deep cleaning.. No need for any root canals. The total cost with my insurance came up to $ 465 and that’s including the flipper.
Bottom line don’t try to get over on me for money or because you need the business. Its not right to swindle people. Especially someone who has a major phobia of the dentist.

Dr. Serrano and her staff are the epitome of professionalism.
I have been to several dentists here in California and have encountered some unscrupulous business owners hidden under their white coats so I pretty much recognize these people and Dr. Serrano is definitely not one!
She only recommends procedures that are necessary to your oral well-​being and makes sure the price stays within your budget. They have never ever forced or talked me into getting something done that I cannot actually pay for.
I believe her motto when it comes to her practice is «an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure» because she has definitely saved me from many dental catastrophes by arresting my dental shortcomings right at inception (like cavities in their early stages). She has also done my veneers which have stayed pretty nice after several years. That said, I have 100% confidence with her recommendations because I know for sure that she only has her patients best interest at heart.
The staff here are also highly commendable, Kim and everybody else are always friendly, patient, polite and helpful. I do not have the best pearly whites in the world and still tend to cringe every time I have to open my mouth for a dental exam but these people along with Dr. Serrano have a very special way of making you feel comfortable. To me that is very important, to know that I’m not there to be judged but be helped so I can flash the greatest smile I can ever have.
Oh, and did I say she has exceptional chair-​side manners and possesses the gentlest hand?
Overall, a great dental experience. Rest assured that you’re in great, ethical hands each time you come!

Dr. Aina is very good at giving shots into the gum… not painless thou.
i hate going to dentists, but i suppose going for schedule cleaning is better than root canal.

PROS:
1. The staff is very friendly.
2. I was able to get appts for my husband and myself at the same time, on the very next day (which should have been a red flag!)
3. They accept most insurances and also accept credit cards.
CONS:
1. Talk about upsell! They told my husband he needed braces or a full set of veneers. He has already had braces and his teeth are in very good shape– no cavities and very white, so veneers are definitely unnecessary. They also told me that I had TEN cavities that needed filled. When I flew back home, I saw my usual dentist and he could not find ANY cavities.
2. A 10 minute cleaning does not fulfill my requirements for a cleaning. Not to mention, I had to floss my teeth after the «cleaning.» I love going to the dentist because I love that polished and clean feeling afterwards. I actually typically go to the dentist 3 times a year and just pay for one of the visits out of my pocket because I like it so much. Gotta keep those teeth in good shape if they have to last 90 years! :)
Dr. Serrano is very friendly, but friendly doesn’t cut it when you are taking care of my teeth.

When you first walk in Kim greets you with a friendly smile & a hello. They accept all sorts of insurance and credit cards so if you go over you max on insurance you can throw it on your trusty credit card. Dr. Serrano has very gentle hands and doesn’t make you feel like a fool for being jittery. All in all it’s been a great experience getting my grill worked on. She’s done a root canal, fillings, & replace my two front teeth with veneers. I swear I brush & floss, & use mouthwash twice a day! But she hooked it up & I have a million dollar smile that I didn’t pay a million dollars for!
