Study Pals Tutoring

5 weeks left of school and I received a note from my son’s teacher stating he was 2 levels behind in reading in order to meet minimim standards. Very stressed I called study pals. Explained my son’s situation and they found me a tutor within 2 days. Chrissy was very professional and patient with my son. I am proud to say my son met standards with her help within 4 weeks. With that being said my son was promoted. If you need a tutor quickly and one with experience this is the place. I highly recommend Study Pals. Thank you Chrissy!

Wish I found about this place sooner! Atish was excellent! He was patient, thorough, and very friendly. My 10 year old daughter is very shy with new people but after the first session with Atish, she was able to talk to him comfortably. I was very impressed. My daughter struggled with math, english, and science. She has since improved in these subjects and I am grateful Atish was able to help her.

We were in a serious bind when I found out my son was failing three core classes and missing 58 assignments with only one month of 6^th grade to go. All the private tutors in the area were already booked up and no one could accommodate my schedule.
When I called Lisa from Study Pals on a Saturday morning, she assured me she could get someone right away and tailor the tutoring to whatever we needed. They also do a background check on all their workers which put me at ease. I can’t just have anyone in my home.
She literally had someone by the afternoon and we started that very Monday. I can’t express how awesome my tutor was. She helped us with study skills, organization, prioritizing, and explained things to where my son became eager to learn again. Needless to say… he completed ALL his late and current assignments, passed ALL his classes, and now we are going to enjoy the summer! It was worth every last penny. We plan to keep our tutor til he graduates.

My son is a junior in high school and is preparing to take his first SAT this summer. We were looking for some one-​on-​one help, as we’ve noticed that classroom — sized sessions at other places didn’t really help him. We called Study Pals and Lisa picked up the phone and helped us. At the initial conversation, Lisa was very professional, polite and very thorough. She listened carefully to what our needs were and any concerns or special arrangements we’d need. She took our information and shortly thereafter got us in touch with a tutor that met our needs. Lisa made sure the experience was as easy and painless for us parents.
The tutor herself (Sonia) was great. The SAT’s has always been a daunting task for me; as a student who took it years ago to a parent today who wants his son to do his best. Sonia was very good at communicating to me what her background was, and what she can provide for our student. She sent materials for us to go over before the actual session, and was great at keeping in touch leading up to the tutoring session. On the day itself, she was very prompt and ready to go as soon as we shook hands. She was very knowledgeable on the SAT’s and hit the ground running. She went over pointers and tips for taking the exam and then segued into focusing on the parts that my son needed help on (the math sections, specifically). The best part was that she was very personable and professional throughout the time. She was never intimidating nor condescending and was very patient with our student. She was very thorough when reviewing the subjects, and gave him tips on how to better tackle certain math questions and sections. It was a great experience and I did not hesitate to book another tutoring session as soon as our time was over.
Overall, it was a great experience for both me and my son. We’d highly recommend Study Pals Tutoring for anyone needing help for high school subjects and SAT prep. I look forward to seeing how well my son does on his SAT this summer, and a great part of it will be from Study Pals’ help.

My niece needed help with reading and math. Called the number and spoke to Lisa. She was very accommodating and matched my niece with a great tutor. Very professional and flexible with hours. Thanks to studypals my niece’s reading and math has improved. I highly recommend this company.

They were very accommodating to our schedule and matched us with a great tutor! She makes the lessons easy to understand and engaging! My niece has improved a lot in her reading and writing since starting, and we are planning to get another tutor for my nephew as well. We had to reschedule one time, and they were very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we could make another appointment. We definitely recommend them!

I used this company awhile back when I was in school and I remember how great they were and how easy it was for them to match me with the right tutor! Every students schedule is different and with extra curricular activities going on, they were super flexible with my times and helped me get my grades up.
We’ve used other tutors in the past but they definitely took the time to match me up with the right person for the subject. It was super easy and I’d definitely recommend this tutoring company for anyone looking to get extra help and improve their grades even more. Even if you’re struggling with test taking only, essays or presentations, there’s someone to help!!! My mom dealt with them and setting it up and she thought they were professional, flexible, organized and of course delivered the best results of getting my grades up.

Happy to provide them with their first review! Usually I wouldn’t try a company without reviews on Unilocal but I was recommended here by a friend and needed a tutor for my sister in high school. Once I talked to Lisa on the phone I saw they were very professional and accommodating and I’m glad we went with them!
My mom wanted a tutor for my little sister. You need to be way more on top of things now a days to get into good colleges! She’s in 10^th grade and gets tutoring for precalculus and Spanish. They even do SAT prep so she will probably start that soon. My sister loves her tutor Anish and has been having a much easier time in school since he started tutoring her. He’s really professional, patient, and makes sure my sis understands everything well to do better in school. My mom is really happy with Anish and my sister’s grades!
I know a couple of people who use this for high school tutoring but I think they do any level of school plus SAT prep. I’d definitely recommend them.
