Tailoring shop

I’ve been searching for a good alteration shop, and after reading all the reviews, I said I’m gonna take risk and put a little faith in this shop.

Love this lady’s work, you can tell she has been in this field for a long time and the experience is in her eyes… Just put that little faith in her and you won’t regret at all.

I’m a creature of habit and have been going to the same place for many years. They closed down, and I’ve used a few places including Nordstroms. One thing that always annoyed me was like many people I have one leg slightly longer than the other. The result is one bottom of my jeans ends up getting damaged because the inseam is too long. I always tell them. They always say they’re going to adjust for that. They never do.
Designer jeans cost $ 200…and it sucks when they get damaged. Elena was the first to get it right. I have complete faith in her ability and the shop. And the prices were so low I wanted to leave a tip. Elena could not be sweeter.

I tried this shop based on the great reviews I read online. I was not disappointed. When I first went in, there were a number of customers waiting. Everyone was attended to in a fast and friendly manner and I was on my way in 15 minutes. I was impressed by their great attention to detail and the pride they take in their work.

I’ve searched high and low to find a suitable tailor. This place is it. I’ve had jumpsuits taken in, pants hemmed, skirts and blouses taken in, and the length of skirts taken up. This shop can do it all. The prices are reasonable and the work is fast. The owners are very friendly and I trust them completely.

Loved Elena! She’s so friendly and accommodating. We came in on a Sunday needing my husband’s suit to be altered asap and she worked quickly making sure it was ready by Monday morning.
Her work was great and it was a huge plus that they’re opened on Sunday. We will definitely be bringing our stuff back here for any and all alterations.

Best service I have ever received. I called in a panick to see if they would be able to finish a dress for my event in a few hours, they were the only place that said they could do it do me, so I drive from San Bernardino to rancho cucamonga! They treated me like family and finished my dress in less than two hours! The dress fit like a glove and looked absolutely stunning! I’m beyond happy with the service and quality they provided.

I have been using their services for a while now. The shop is family owned and operated. Elena and her husband are very professional, friendly, and accommodating. They have altered many of my suits and uniforms .
The shop is located in a strip mall in an ok area, but don’t let the storefront or area throw you off. It may seem like a small mom and pop type of place, but the level of work is worth it.

I needed a pair of pants tailored and this was the only place opened late in the evening. I DON’T regret finding this place. Elena was a sweetheart and very efficient. My pants came out perfectly and I was able to chat a little with Elena when I picked up my pants… she is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met. I definitely recommend this establishment, her work is flawless

I came in to have pants hemmed and tapered to be more of a slim fit. The tailoring is good but I have seen better. There are no obvious issues it is really just me being picky. The woman who helped me was nice and accommodating. The total for the hem and tapering was $ 35, which I was told was the new customer price otherwise it would have been $ 45. This place charges extra for credit card transactions which is not exactly legal in California and caused me the inconvenience of getting cash before picking my item up.

Same day alterations on a Sunday, no extra fee for the same day service. Brought in two pairs of pants to have them hemmed, paid $ 25 after the tip. I believe she was open till 8 p.m. on a Sunday. Elena did a great job, I would recommend and I will go back just to continue to support the small business owner in our community.
Ps to the poor lady who had her 8k-​25k wedding dress ruined here… I’m sorry you had to go through all that. BUT, it was your choice to take your über expensive dress to a tailor/​seamstress that’s in a shopping center next to a rite aid and a fake Juan Pollo (no offense to rite and the fake Juan pollo). That’s like taking your Maserati to get a major service done at a jiffy lube (no offense to jiffy lube).

Elena is amazing! She did my prom dress & softball uniform & it couldnt have been better. She does an outstanding job & gives great ideas. Also, very affordable!

I was looking for a place that could have my sons suit ready in the same week for a good price when I cane across this shop. SHE WAS FANTASTIC!!! Elena stuck to her wird had my sons suit ready in 2 days as promised and even went above and beyond. She thought about how tall he is and that he is still growing so she left ectra frabic so we can alter as he grows. HE IS SO STUNNING IN BIS SUIT. THANK YOU SO MUCH ELENA. I WILL ALWAYS COME BACK HERE.

I was a extremely happy blushing bride before I came to this Tailoring shop because I needed my wedding dress altered & dry cleaned. Elena said she would take it in a bit on the sides & have it dry cleaned. When I went to pick up my dress I noticed the material looked dull & had lost its luster. I tried it on & I was right. It had Been WASHED. Who washes a wedding dress? Especially a custom designer dress by Jenny Lee Couture. I started crying & couldn’t believe my dress had been ruined right before my wedding. Elena tried to console me, but it was too late. She said that there was no tags on the dress to know whether or not to wash it. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Of course, there were no washing tags when this dress was custom made. And besides I took it to her to dry clean not wash. Elena said she would buy me a new one, but we had no time to buy another dress or have it replaced. So, I had to postpone my wedding.
I spent the next few months trying to get Elena to replace my designer wedding dress. She refused to keep her word on buying me a new dress because I had made a joke about how much I really paid for it when I initially took it to her. Well, all Jenny Lee Couture dresses are custom made and range from $ 8,000-$ 24,000.
. It takes a time to place the order and have it made. You can’t buy it off the rack.
I had to argue with her several times to agree to make a new dress. I left her shop many times crying & disappointed. I was going to take her court until we finally came to the agreement that she would make me a new one.
Well, after going to her shop over 20 times I thought I was finally happy going home with a replacement dress, but the craftsmanship was less than average compared to the other quality work I had seen her do. When I got home I noticed the seams were off in the front breast area & the lace was different than what I had asked for. It was not sewn on correctly on the dress. And thank God I looked at it before otherwise it would have fallen off wearing it.
I had also given her a strapless bra that I was going to wear underneath the dress & she cut it to the shape of the dress, but didn’t bother sewing both sides to close the seems. I had to get the lace replaced to the original one I told her I wanted & have the dress fixed.
I was extremely disappointed both times. After this experience, I will NEVER go back nor recommend taking any wedding dress to her because she’ll wash it instead of dry cleaning it.

That feeling when you find the perfect dress, but it’s WAY too long, and you just don’t want to take the extra effort to get it fixed. Came here yesterday after reading the reviews, seemed like a decent place for what you pay for. Brought an evening gown for a wedding in to be hemmed that was much too long. To my surprise the price was reasonable and the job was done by the following day! I couldn’t believe how fast the service was. And they got the length perfect. Great quality and value. I’ll definitely be returning with other items.

Elena is the best! she completely understands what you are looking for and plus she gives you very good ideas. My traditional dress was so small because I gained weight and she fixed it and you can’t even see it. I would say it looks better than it was :)

This is a customer service review. I came here to see about alterations for my wedding dress. Elena is so sweet. I was greeted with a warm smile and she listened and asked me about my wedding. I can’t wait to come back and have her work on my dress. She has a passion for her work and is NOT all about money. She even makes dresses. If I would have known I would have asked her to make my bridesmaids dresses. She doesn’t have a big shop but she has a big heart.

Elena is wonderful! She has been my tailor for years. I went to her with a disaster of a white dress, and she had so many amazing ideas to fix it. She ended up recreating my dress in a different color and it is gorgeous!!! I can not thank her enough. She also tailors my jeans with the original hem and the come out perfect. Elena truly is my fairy godmother!

I love Elena! I brought my gorgeous wedding dress here for alterations, and she’s so wonderful, like my own fairy godmother haha :) My dress fits like a glove, and the visits were even fun! She and Daniel were so kind and helpful with me and my mom, thank you!
The price was really reasonable, less than any bridal shop or alteration place I got a quote from (I looked in Rancho, Fullerton, and Irvine). My dress is pretty elaborate too — corset, full multi-​layered skirt, and lots of Swarovski crystals and beading, which must be removed then re-​sewn by hand. Initially I was so nervous about the thought of handing my precious gown over to ANYONE! But as soon as I spoke with Elena every concern disappeared. She hemmed all the layers, reduced and shaped the bust so the strapless gown holds em up ;) and she even nipped in the waist a little to create a prettier hourglass shape! I’m so happy with it. It’s a small, unassuming little shop, but she works wonders inside. Bibbidi bobbidi boo!
