William Paley, DO

After a hospital stay, I was sent to a nursing home. I received negligent care and Dr. Paley was aware of it. He even asked my family to write a letter to the administration. I continued to receive negligent care after communicating to staff and the administration, so I decided to leave. As I went to leave, they would not give us the remaining medication which was paid for by my Medicare and supplemental insurance policies. They told me Dr Paley said to deny it. Family members called his office and he denied us needed prescriptions. His words were, «I warned you.» His word choice is revealing. Also, he only «warned» about not ordering home health care if we left the facility.
Patients are not prisoners and all patients have a right to a safe discharge no matter what their decision is. What he did was unethical. I would not recommend Dr. Paley to ANYONE! He is an arrogant doctor who thinks he is above everyone else.
