Michael Yeung went to UC Berkeley for his undergraduate degree. He then went onto Loyola School to obtain his law degree. Michael has been a licensed attorney since 2001 and he has worked on numerous types of cases, including bankruptcy, workers compensation, small and large accidents, real estate transaction, business related matter and criminal cases. As of today, Michael has obtained settlements and judgments for his clients in the millions.

Michael was formerly a defense attorney in an insurance company defending state agencies including California Highway Patrol, Department of Corrections, and other California State agencies.

Today, Michael specializes in personal injury, business and criminal law. His goal is to help victims and Plaintiffs to recover money that they deserve.

I was involved in a 3-​car collision after being hit behind on a freeway. After explaining my distress and frustration to a good friend, I was referred to Michael Yeung. He was easy to talk to and I was glad I was in good hands. He was quickly able to refer me to a great chiropractor for my back. I had a hectic schedule (working a lot and wedding planning), but he made sure that he found a chiropractor who’s schedule works with mine. In addition, Myrna was really great to talk to as I felt like she really understood what I was going through. I really appreciated her patience as I’m sure they have many other clients that they talk to on a daily basis. Communication was previously an issue before they expanded their location, but Michael was able to bring on more professional help on board so that each of his clients can effectively get the counsel and actions needed to fight their case. I recently got in a car accident 2 weeks ago and had no idea what to do, as it was my fist car accident. I wasn’t at fault and had so much trouble dealing with the lady’s insurance company and getting them to give me answers. Then I found Michael. First off, I would like to say that Michael was a great lawyer, he was recommended to my boyfriend at the time that Michael was a good lawyer and was very helpful. though, I was hesitant able talking to him, I gave it a shot at the end and took his call. Michael helped me in my car accident case in 2013 and also helped me with my work compensation case at the same time. I’m so grateful for all the help that he did for me and also his assistant, Myrna, was so sweet and awesome. They both made sure to let me know what goes on and updates me on my cases. It was finally finalized for both cases and am so happy about all their efforts.
I’m glad Michael helped me with my case. It just makes me mad thinking back about my accident; I was rear-​ended by a stupid ass driver at the red light right outside my house of all places! Anyways, it happened but the case is settled and finalized.

Michael is a great attorney. He cares about his clients and he always goes the extra miles for you. I have used other law office before for my other car accident in the past and I did not get a positive experience. In my other case with the other law office, the settlement is small and I hardly can get a return phone call. What I realized was my previous attorney office for my other car accident was owned, operated and ran by non-​attorney. The attorney for my other case is just a shell. I did not know there are many fake law office around doing accident cases. So beware!

Michael and Myrna are pretty much the dream team when it comes to helping you after a car accident. Most people are scared of dealing with lawyers, and just let their insurance company take care of things, but… the truth is that some insurance companies won’t fight for you. Michael is the opposite of that– he’ll pretty much be your fairy godmother and Larry H Parker rolled into one.
I was rear-​ended while my car was stopped, waiting to get on the freeway. My back bumper and headlight was totally damaged. I didn’t know what to do, but my aunt had heard about Michael and recommended him– he returned our call right away, even though it was pretty late at night. He even offered to come meet me the next day to go over paperwork. He got my car fixed beautifully, got me a replacement car, got me medical services, and a settlement check. His wonderful legal assistant Myrna did a great job communicating with me through phone and email– she always returned emails promptly and was friendly and professional. All you have to do is be patient, communicate with him and Myrna if you have any questions, and they’ll do their best to help you.
This whole process could have been stressful, but it wasn’t. I couldn’t have asked for more and am really thankful someone put me in touch with him and his team.

I had a hearing date for an old ticket that had turned into an FTA. I got my days mixed up and missed that court appearance. Another FTA. Called Michael the day after and he agreed to appear for me the next day. Sometimes when attorneys know you need them to appear right away, they gouge you with an outrageous appearance fee. Michael was reasonable, especially considering it was last notice. Fines for two FTAs would have had me paying out the a**, but he got my fine reduced to $ 500 and both FTAs dropped. I definitely recommend him.

Unfortunately got a dui in Feburary womp womp and the next day Michael started working on my case.
He’s a busy guy but does make every effort to pick up your calls and meet with you to talk about your case. Tell him your needs, even if you think they’re weird or ridiculous and if Michael can help then he definitely will. I didn’t want family finding out about it so that became priority for us.
Actually his office was really far for me to go to so he actually invited me to his home office to meet initially. I was a crybaby while he talked me through the process and made me feel much better. He’ll walk you through the whole process and explain everything that you must do. Actually throughout most of the process, I really didn’t have to do much Michael took care of everything.

I had a serious car accident 2 years ago. I had fractured bones and many other injuries and stayed in ICU for a few days. I wasn’t able to stand or even sit for a long time.
Michael is such a great attorney. He really cares about his client. He came to visit me at the hospital and later at my house. Whenever I had a question, he explained patiently and made sure I had no confusion and concerns. He is prompt in returning phone calls and all emails. I trust him 100%. He is caring, trustful and is always there for me.

In 2006 I was driving through an intersection to go to work. A driver on the opposing side made a left hitting me head on. My friends directed me to people they knew of, hoping I would be able to get some help. Actually, a lot of people approached me offering legal services. I didn’t know what all the fuss was about.
I ended up going with a Law office in Orange County. The staff was mediocre when it came to service, but they promised a high pay percentage apposed to «greedy» lawyers. So I felt like they were looking out for me and my best interest– WRONG!
After a year of poor treatment, the law office representing me told me my case would end soon. I told them I was still in pain but they closed it anyways. I was pretty upset with this as I had no control over the situation whatsoever. My lawyers told me what the settlement offer was. I was appalled! I felt like a year of my back and neck pain was only worth $ 2,000. Not that I need monetary compensation, but that seemed really, really low. I learned that this is common practice for paralegals to burn-​and-​turn cases to make quick cash.
Before my case settled, I was recommend to Michael Yeung for a second opinion. He and I met and he explained to me that based on the extent of my accident, I should have seeked PROPER medical attention. Michael Yeung then took over my case. He refereed me to a REAL chiropractor– you know, the type that actually care about their patients. From there, I also met with a neurologist and took a few MRI scans. Turns out I was really messed up from the accident after all.
I then went with these new doctors and got the medical attention I needed. We stopped when I felt much better. Monetary value aside, I felt really good that I didn’t get cheated on medical care. I hope others do NOT have to go through the same experience and get proper care– Right, the first time. Hope this helps.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael and Myrna for the past two years as a result of a motorcycle accident I was involved in. They are both very personable and very easy to work with and talk to.
My case turned out to be much more involved and complex than we had initially forecasted, but Michael handled this very professionally and fought for me through until the end.
