Dr. Sapire graduated with a PhD in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles, and received post graduate training in Biofeedback from the Los Angeles Institute of Biofeedback and certificates in Sex Education and Clinical Sexology from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco. He initially practiced Psychology in Beverly Hills (where he frequently treated patients coping with social and sexual consequences of medical conditions and procedures on physician referral). Since moving to Rancho Mirage, Dr. Sapire has become a frequent speaker at venues like Learning in Retirement, Desert AIDS Project, Lakes Country Club, Desert Film Society, Palm Springs Gay and Lesbian Center and Freethinkers of the Coachella Valley.
