Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Just finished a delicious meal here and could not wait to write a review. Went in here for dinner with my boyfriend. So glad it was Sunday because this is the only night they have Prime Rib special. Dinner includes salad, side dish and dessert and all were amazing. Flemings takes care to make sure all components of meal are perfect. From the minute you sit down you are pampered. Our waiter, Carmello was outstanding and it was wonderful to have the manager come by to ensure everything was perfect. I cannot state enough how perfect the food is prepared. I had Flemings salad which is very tasty with cranberries, walnuts and a fresh lemon dressing then a perfectly cooked medium well prime rib with a delicious baked potato and all of the toppings. Afterward Carmello put our desserts in bag to go and we are looking forward to enjoying them later. Great job to the outstanding chef and staff at Flemings. We will definitely be back!!!

Three of us had dinner here on Father’s Day and there was a nice crowd. Most people were dressed on the casual side. Drinks were brought quickly as well as bread that was wonderful, served with two flavors of butter. Our food also arrived soon enough, but after that, our waitress was too occupied with perhaps too many other tables. We waited for more bread, waited for more water, one of us finished a dessert before the other was brought, waited for payment to be taken. Midway through the dinner, the restaurant had cleared out, at least in our area, by half, so why all the waiting? We ordered the small meals, a shrimp scampi, a short ribs, and lobster tempura. All three were good but the underside of each tempura was soggy and so just the top parts were edible, making for a lot of picking apart. Everything is a la carte. The onion rings were great. The baked potato was perfectly cooked and large but almost $ 12.00. We ordered chocolate lava cake served with ice cream and chantilly and crème brule, both were delicious. We knew Fleming’s was pricier but expected a bit better service and excellent food for the money. I paid, with tip, $ 80 for three tempura, a baked potato, and one drink. It wasn’t bad but sorry to say it isn’t somewhere I’d make a point to visit again.

5-​star food but lose a star for OK service. Ordered wagyu New York steak and wife and filet migon. Both were excellent. Lost a star because waiter did not ask us what we wanted to drink and we had to tell him as he was wrapping up we wanted wine. Also, wife ordered peppercorn sauce with filet but did not receive when order was delivered.

Easily the best meal I’ve ever had. My husband and I came here once years ago for his college graduation and have been dreaming of making it back ever since. The Caesar salad is so wonderful it could bring tears to your eyes, and the filets melt like butter. The hostess even brought me a dark napkin to match my dress to prevent lint, which was something I hadn’t even considered. Above and beyond from start to finish!

My husband and I came here for Restaurant Week. The complimentary bread and cheese spreads were delicious. Our server, Dakota, was very professional and helpful. My husband I and both had the same thing. We started with the wedge salad which had great dressing but the bacon strip was not crispy and tasted bland (maybe it was uncured bacon.) The filets were good but not as tender as expected from a prime steakhouse. In fact, my last bite had gristle which I have never experienced in a filet before. We had the chocolate mouse for dessert which was very good. Our experience here was good but not outstanding.

We have been to Fleming’s in Rancho MIrage many times… like 5, in the 8 months. The food and service is superb. I love the bar menu. It is fun to stop in and have a drink and a bite. Everything we have eaten there has been great. The service is prompt and friendly. The homemade potato chips and burrata are to die for. Go if you are in the area.

We had a beautiful celebration for our 5^th anniversary. Our hostess, our server Vanessa, the manager Doug, and the OP manager, all went out of their way to give us such a wonderful experience. This was our first time dining here and the food, drinks & service were all exceptional. We had champagne, the Caesar salad, filet mignon, flemings potatoes, AMAZING crab cakes, carrot cake, and lots of perfectly made cocktails. They really wowed us & took care of every detail. We felt very spoiled. Thank you! We will be back!

My husband and I ate hear constantly a few years ago. Usually at the bar for a burger or some appetizers. It was our hangout. The last two times I have been there fir a burger and fries the food has been terrible. The bun is oversized, the burger overcooked and the fries tepid. What happened? Service was certainly pleasant enough, but this is no longer a place we will visit. It’s a shame.

Outstanding service and the food was exemplary. My wife and I went there for our anniversary and they treated us very special, we really appreciate it. Our waiter Dakota was top notch, consummate professional.

My brother inlaw and my sister, took me here. First time. I was very impressed. I had the 8oz, tenderloin. It melted in my mouth. I think, my eyes rolled back. Lol. It was the best I have had. It’s right up there next to an other favorite.
My brother inlaw had the NY steak. I had a bite of ot. Best Ever. .my sister, had short rib. The potatoes au gratin, was delicious. We all had some. And creamed spinach, was very good.
All in all. I’m back in Michigan, and won’t have this again, until I come back. I cant wait to come back !!

Thank you so much for your amazing service and made sure my glass was full. You actually made us understand why our food took a little bit and how we were not forgetten. If you ever read this, I just want you to know I have never given a tip like how I gave you. The ratings are for the food but it’s actually 90% is because of you.
Folks, when you visit this place, I am sure the wait staff will be very nice and very professional in their service. I was very glad that I tried this place

February 11, 2016 was our 15 year anniversary we had such a great time and service overall with the help of Angela Applegate the attending manager at the time and our waitress Jenny Wagner. I made a point to get their names so that I can thank them for the help to make our night special. From champagne, customized menu, dessert, and truffle chocolate. As always DRY AGED PRIME RIB AS ITS BEST with Truffle Poached Lobster, mouthwatering so tender cook medium rare with some sautéed mushrooms. One of the best steak so far I’ve ever had. Thank you and we will certainly recommend highly and will soon see you guys!!! And a $ 25 dollars gift card to come back…

In my quest to find the best steak it has taken me on an Agatha Christie-​like pursuit!
Used Open Table for an 8pm reservation on Saturday. We were greeted immediately, escorted to our table and told Moses would be serving us. After a gracious welcome and list of specials we decided on the Braised Short Ribs (small plate) $ 21 and Wagyu New York Strip $ 59. Sinatra would’ve hummed a tune for this New York strip, the harmony of flavors and taste was a perfect melody. The Manhattan was clearly a favorite over the Old Fashion.
For all other Steakhouses take note, not only should the steak stand on it’s own merit, but exceptional and polite service should be customary, a testament to Doug for a job well done.

Oh boy! This is the place for wonderful food. We were there tonight for our 25^th anniversary. It’s Sunday night and Flemings had an outstanding prime rib dinner special on Sundays. So I had a salad wedge with blue cheese dressing, medium prime rib with onion rings and creamed spinach and… Turtle chocolate cake with sauce. YUM! The service is always excellent as well. Thanks Flemings for giving us the perfect 25^th anniversary celebration (see the photos!).

My bf made Valentine’s Day brunch reservations here. We decided to order from the brunch menu: filet eggs Benedict which came with a side of potatoes, veggies; berries as a starter and ny cheesecake for desert. The filet was very tender and rich in flavor! I ordered a passion fruit mimosa which was simply delicious. My bf order a bottle of cab which complimented the filet. And to end we had a chilled tequila shot which went down super smooth.
Our server Rico was excellent! He really took great care of us and made great recommendations and suggestions. Despite the holiday the dinning area was private and not crowded. They even gave us a complimentary 25 dollar gift card for a subsequent reservation. We enjoy your time and the food was great!

Luckily we arrived right at 5 with no problem finding seating. It quickly filled up in the little bar area.
I wasn’t drinking since I over did it the night before. But I drank probably 16 glasses of water, the bar tender never let my glass go empty. He was nice and friendly, had a good bar tender personality.
The boyfriend and I split the Ahi Tuna Tacos, Prime Rib Dip, and the Filet Mignon Flatbread.
The Ahi Tuna Tacos came with 4 tacos. The taco shells themselves are more like a won ton, which was really tasty and crunchy, but a little messy. It also was filled with a lot of ahi, and seaweed salad.
The Prime Rib dip was definitely my favorite. Very meaty, juicy, au jus was nice not too salty, and came with horseradish. My boyfriend would argue that the horseradish was too mayo-​y and not spicy enough. I wouldn’t disagree but I thought it was just fine.
The flat bread I could have done without. I was not blown away, I would have ordered something else. Toppings were not evenly placed and I found the balsamic a little overwhelming. Tiny pieces of filet that was over done. Just meh on that, but everything else was great.

Skip Flemings for better value at others.
Our table of 5 was disappointed in our dinner experience this week and decided we’ll stick with other faves from now on. It took 50 minutes for dinner to be served and portions were very small for the price. Every item is ala carte, with sides served «family style», but we left hungry because the sides didn’t cover even 2 people. Our steaks were nice quality, but then that’s true of many others too.

Just had an awesome meal and experience! Doug the manager brought us two complementary glasses of champagne for our 30 year anniversary. Everyone of their staff congratulated us as well. Jenny was super sweet and made us feel special.
The Monday night special was excellent. Wife had a huge piece of Chilean sea bass which was delicious. I had the charred rare ribeye and it was cooked perfect. Also had the French onion soup and it was hearty with a great beef broth. Dessert was good and my favorite was the turtle pie.
We bought two gift certificates for Christmas gifts as we loved this place.
Doug is doing a good job with his staff.

Love Flemings, great steak house, worth the hype and the price tag.
Service 5 stars: our waitress was lovely and knowledgable of the menu. We were constantly checked up on and overall had a great dining experience despite the crowd be never felt overlooked and our food came out one after another which kept the paise of the meal perfect.
Food: 5 stars! Everything was wonderful. I ordered their seafood sampler special, scallops, crab legs, and lobster tail. It was amazing, I mean how can you go wrong but seriously for a special occasion it was the perfect meal. Also I fell in love with their burratta appetizer, presentation and taste on this dish ⁵⁄₅!
I’d highly recommend this restaurant for anyone celebrating a special occasion or wanting to have an impressive date night out.
