He has been honored with a Leadership in Law Award by the Daily Record (Maryland’s leading legal newspaper), Presidential Award by Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the Pro Bono Service Award by the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland. He is the first attorney in Maryland to receive all of these awards.
He is a member of Christian Legal Society. He has volunteered for the Special Olympics 12 straight years. He is Chairman of the Board of Center for Progressive Learning, Inc. a nonprofit placing disabled citizens in foster homes and maintaining the largest private youth services facilities in Baltimore County.
