Steven W.
Business Owner
Steven Way is the President and co-owner of ALPS/Advanced Lighting & Production Services, a Boston based theatrical and entertainment lighting company he started in 1981. Over the past 30 years, his organization has grown to include Lighting Production and Design Services, Rentals, Sales, Permanent Installations and Technical Repair Services nationally.
Steven has been an ISES (International Special Events Society) member since 2002, is a Past President of the New England chapter and has served as chair of the International Membership Development Committee. Steven also sits on the North American board of PLASA (Professional Lighting and Sound Association).
Awards and recognitions include the Spirit of ISES Award, the Chapter President’s Award, Merit Scholarship Award, as well as recognitions from USITT and KCACTF for outstanding performance and contributions.
