Our first time there even though we’ve been meaning to go for months. Taking credit cards was the turning point, and prime rib every Thursday did it. Cold beer, good drinks and on par food. Starters of fried pickles and beer batter onion rings were plentiful and tasty. Prime rib a little overdone but still fantastic. Sides… meh. Bar pie was delicious but too much for one after those apps. Leftovers were a-ok. Service was spotty, one server for the whole place isn’t enough. They need a bus boy to help out. Atmosphere. taverny with lots of tvs and both high tops and regular tables. It could get fun after a few drinks. We will be back for sure. You should come too.

I used to eat there every 2 weeks for years. I will never eat there again. They have a new cook who has changed everything. The pizza that used to be one of the best around is now almost uneatable. We took it home and threw it in the trash. This change has taken place over the past month or 2. BEWARE !!! If you are ordering pizza, just get one and taste it. Terrible. The new pizza is all loaded up with garlic and oregano. Worst pizza ever !!!

This is a great dive bar! The drinks are very cheap, as is the food. Draft beer if $ 2.25-$ 4. Food it typical bar food. Very cheap. They have Keno and a lottery ticket machine. It is cash only but they have an ATM. The bartender was extremely friendly. We are by no means local or townies, and everyone is so friendly to us. We have been here maybe four times in the last year because the barkeeps are always friendly and the price is right!!! If you are expecting a cheap, friendly dive bar, you will not be disappointed. Also, the second Monday of the month is cribbage night! It’s a $ 30 buy in for teams of two. It’s a bracket style and played in the dining room. If you make it to the final table, each team gets $ 40. If you win you take home the rest! Hosted by a bartender since 1987!

We live in Needham and think it’s worth the 20 minute drive. So this isn’t just a bar for«townies». We’ve actually found people to be friendly and talkative, even though we’re not from Randolph. The bartender we like the best works during the week — I think his name is Joe. He’s friendly, has an awesome memory and makes sure you never want for anything. We’ve tried several dishes as well as their pizza and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a fish sandwich and it was a huge piece of fried fish(NOT greasy) and so fresh tasting. In fact, we’re going there tonight :)

Odonnells is my favorite local place in town. Not stuffy or overpriced. Pizza is great and also steak tips and apps. Joe the bartender is great as well as the others. People are down to earth easy going. Drinks are great!

Craving corned beef and cabbage we ventured forth on a Sunday afternoon. The dining room was closed. All the regulars look at you when you walk in with lizard eyes. All they had was pizza and apps. Why then does the sign say«restaurant»?

Honestly, this is the ultimate townie Irish bar, and I have never thought of my hometown as townie-ish, but now that I’ve grown, I see that it probably is in some sense. As an outsider coming in, you’d probably hate it. It’s dark, there’s always a couple drunk guys at the bar(at any time of day), the food is hit or miss and some of the servers aren’t the friendliest. But the pizza is good(most of the time), the fries are great, the prices are unbeatable, the drinks are strong, again, the prices are unbeatable, the bartenders are friendly, and there’s now even an internet jukebox for your listening pleasure. A couple FYI’s — they only serve pizza on the weekends during the day; full menu at night. Also, it is «bar» pizza(thin, crispy, single-serving size), which sadly, does not exist in New York, though I still haven’t given up the hunt…

This place is great! I havn’t tried much on the menu because I always start off with their nachos which are enormous! You get a huge plate of chips covered in cheese, salsa, sour cream and jalepenos. Then I usually top that off with a buffalo chicken pizza and me and my friends are so full we can bareley finish our cheap beers. Def a townie place, people have their own tables and such, but hey that means you don’t have to get dressed up :) one of the waitresses there is really great, the younger one, but if you go and there’s a really old woman waitressing, well I just recomend sitting at the bar. Did I mention they have great bar pizza? Yum going there tonight

If you are looking for a townie bar this is it! The pizza is great, it is small bar pizza. They also have beer specials and they do pitchers of beer. It is a small bar with lots of regulars but definitely a good place to go grab a pizza and a beer.

This is the kind of place that you hide out from your wife or husband for a night to just get loaded and stare are the other local drunks. On my visit there I met the Bartender and he was friendly with a good sense of humor.(guess that comes with the territory). If you are a single guy or gal this not the place to meet singles. The few women I noticed there looked like heroin addicts to be honest. Skanky! I wouldn’t roll the dice on food here based on the condition of the place. I can’t imagine what hidden treasures reside in the backrooms of this place.

This wouldn’t be my first choice but coming here is like going back to your local strip club. It’s comfortable, laid back and the price is right. Like the last two reviewers said, it’s townie but I suppose that’s what makes it such a staple in the good ol’ town of Randolph.

O’Donnell’s has been in Randolph for a long time. I grew up in Randolph and had never been in, until now. My wife and I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book, so we decided to give it a chance. We did not expect much, since it is a townie Irish pub/restaurant, but we went anyway. Here is our experience: 1.) Atmosphere: Upon walking in, we were welcomed by the after work drinking crowd at the bar, who were already drunk. But, it was a Friday so that’s OK. The dining area is behind the bar, so we made our way over to be seated. 2.) Service: Our waitress was not a happy girl. Actually, we’ve seen happier people at funerals. She was miserable, but at least she was trying to be friendly. I know you are working at a crappy pub, but at least be pleasant to paying customers please. 3.) Food: My salad had hair in it. I took the hair out and was just going to let it go, but then I found 3 more hairs. So, I asked for a new salad. Our«friendly» waitress obliged, surprisingly. She probably just took the hair off and moved the vegetables around, but whatever. The salad was OK, the lettuce probably came from a bag. But, at least it was edible. For my main course I got the steak tips, which were actually very good. They were cooked well, tender, and marinated well. I was impressed and surprised. My wife ordered the haddock parm.(weird choice, I know). It actually looked like mushy poop in a bowl. The pasta was over-cooked and watery, the sauce was awful, and the fish was mushy and fishy. I actually tasted her food, just to see if it tasted as bad as it looked. Yeah, it was awful. Overall, for a local pub/restaurant, I guess the place is just OK… for a drunken meal. If you choose to go, after reading this, stick with something simple like steak tips or pizza(they are known for their pizzas). And try not to smile or be friendly because they obviously don’t like that.
