We stayed open during the power outage and provided a safe place for people to board during stressful tmes. We are open 365 days a year, no matter what is going on. Call during an emergency and we will be there. If the phones are not working, just come over during an emergency and we will help you out.

We specialize in cat boarding with caring individuals and large condos. We love what we do.

We treat your cat like royalty.

History

Established in 2002.

I started the first cat only place in Randolph in 2002 to fit a need for a quiet place to board cats. After the dogs at the vet scared my cat and he didn’t know me when I picked him up, I knew we needed to start a place in Morris County.

Nice, clean facility. Eager, pleasant, enthusiastic staff; good care-​yet misleading, confusing pricing. My boarding estimates changed 3 times from the initial reserve to pick up. I believe it was a case of careless, misinformed staff that promised pricing but did/​could not deliver. I spoke with three different staff members regarding the financials. My bill tripled at pick up from my original verbal quote. This was disappointing. My pets emerged unscathed, which was the most important result all things considered.

We’ve been taking our cats to Cat Chalet for 11 years now and the folks there are amazing. The place is spotless, the «condos» are large and comfortable.
The staff sends photos and videos of our cats showing them playing during the day.

Susan and her employees were kind and conscientious to both my cat and I during a very difficult time when we had to leave our house unexpectedly for months while repairs were being done after a flood. The flood was caused by rank negligence, so you can’t imagine my relief and gratitude to find Susan by cold-​calling her business in desperation to find someone trust-​worthy to take care of my never-​been– boarded senior cat for me. Susan was kind & friendly on the phone, and I went in to see her facility. It was impeccably clean, and remarkably odor free. Susan gave me regular reports as the weeks went by, and as the months went by, she told me that she was actually bringing my cat into her household so that my cat could stretch her legs and get some company from Susan’s kids! Evidently my kitty was laying on their beds while they were doing their homework! I was afraid I’d get back a stressed out cat who had lost weight while boarding, but she was plump and happy when I went to pick her up. I think she may have been sorry to leave :) Susan managed to renew my faith in human nature after a very challenging time. I highly recommend her business !

This a family business run by a whole family that loves cats! This is a calm, clean and loving environment for your feline babies. No dogs allowed. My cats get tons of TLC when they stay here from the owner, staff, and the owner’s sons — one that I call the «cat whisperer». This is a place that you can feel good about leaving your kitten or cat when you have to be away from them. The «condos» are big — and they get some run around time too. Thank you Cat Chalet for taking great care of our cats!

My cat (s) are approaching their third stay at The Cat Chalet so I must be a very satisfied client. The three level «condos» are spacious and the screened door on each unit allows them to socialize with others across the room if they choose. What is very appealing about this facility is only cats are accepted and it’s a calm environment with no barking dogs. It is evident that the owner and staff truly love felines so when I’m traveling I know my cats are in good, safe hands. A great find!
