We provide fully equipped vacation homes, cottage lodging, and full hookup RV sites to Black Hills visitors. We are within 30 minutes of Mt Rushmore and centrally located to most Black Hills attractions. Lake Park Campground and Cottages is located in a park like setting on beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City. Guests can enjoy miles of paved bike paths, stream and lake fishing, golf, paddle boating, and outdoor activities all within walking distance from their cottage or RV site. Cottages and Vacation Homes range from small two person units to four bedroom/​three bath homes that will sleep up to 16 people, all surrounded by grass and shade trees. We are only four miles from downtown Rapid City and have easy access to any point in the Black Hills.

History

Established in 1991.

We began our adventure in the Fall of 1991. Over the years our goal and mission have been shaped by our own family vacation experiences. Today our mission statement is to give families the opportunity to create wonderful family vacation memories. Lake Park Campground and Cottages has evolved over the last twenty years and we continue to identify ways to improve the experience of our guests. Many of our guests have visited us numerous times over the years and it is fun to have them see the changes that have occurred since their last visit. We believe that this process is never really finished and we are excited to see where it will take us in the next twenty years.
