We’ve been here 8 – 10 times. People always nice and available. It is inexpensive and there are a lot of things to choose from. If you’re picky then just select your raw food and get it cooked fresh by the guy in the back. They also have a few American foods like roast beef, mashed potatoes and string beans. There is also a desert bar with fruits and a selection of ice cream. It’s worth a try at least once and you can decide for yourself. As for my wife and I, we’ll continue to go. My wife goes there just for the chow mein!

I want to like and rave about this place, but I can’t. I’ve been a few times and it seems hit or miss. The guy behind the hibachi counter seems miserable every single time. It’s as if he hates life. All. The. Time. I wanted to give him a tip this last time, but he was just simply not earning it. Way too miserable and didn’t listen, and even messed up orders. There was a guy in front of me who came back over because he didn’t get sauce. He came back over and nicely told him that he’d forgotten to add some and simply asked for some. He slapped some on there. Then when it came to my food he put on way too much sauce(way over correcting.) When I had handed him my plate earlier I asked for garlic, but he ignored me. He ended up slapping a bunch on at the end. It definitely was raw when I was eating the dish. Also, the bell peppers were not fresh. They had that moldy, dirt taste. I had to spit in my napkin. Twice!(I did give it another chance). Also, having many friends in the did service industry, I know some things, and I don’t trust this place. It is cheap, and if you catch them on a good, busy day it’s worth the $ 10 if you are hungry and need a place to grab a grub. Ah…er… «some grub».

Everyone expects this place to be AWESOME. It’s a cheap buffet. It is what it is. I like it because they have fresh sushi and fresh green beans. The best green beans I have had. I swear they are that good. They also include a raw bar they cook it right there for you. It’s yummy. Everything else is so so. They have normal Chinese food and then seafood stuff. My husband loves the Sunday crab legs. I think it’s a great deal for the price.

I never really had a problem with this place until today when we came in and before us was a group of physically impaired people. Everyone got sat down we were all eating and then one of the people in the group that was sat before us came to say hi and the person that was taking care of them said to leave us alone we said we didn’t have a problem with him saying hi. To make a long story short they asked the group with the physically impaired people to leave they kicked them out saying they were disturbing everyone(which they weren’t). How can people be so insensitive to this knowing that anyone of us can have a family member or even something happen to us and we end up in that situation. So physically impaired people shouldn’t go out and be amongst all of us. Because of this I will NEVER return here this was very distasteful and I believe quite insensitive of the staff.

The people are nice however going up to get a plate &3 of them right on top were dirty. Why put dishes out without even checking if they’re thoroughly clean? Cross contamination at its finest. No thanks

I walked in and the place was extremely poorly lit. The dicor did not match and there were torn benches. The Labels were poorly placed and most were either incorrect or missing. Most of the food was lukewarm. The dumplings were horrid!!! The dough was so thick, I believe this was done so they would not have to use so much filling. The most surprising part was that the sushi seemed to use Krab(fake crab with filler in it). For the area I would have thought that they would use real crab meat for the sushi. I will not be going here again, It was a very large disappointment.

This is honestly my favorite buffet in MA. I literally come drive almost 30 minutes for lunch. 1. There’s ALWAYS parking. ALWAYS. They share the lot with Big Lots, and it’s great because after you stuff yourself you can waddle over to Big Lots and spend more money. 2. I love the staff. They’re really nice and sometimes don’t charge me for my drinks(i’m not one to order alcohol there so I’m literally talking about free tea and soda, but I appreciate everything) 3. The atmosphere is really nice. They play nice calm music and there’s always enough people there that it doesn’t feel like you’re eating in a ghost town but there’s never so many people that I feel that my personal space is invaded(please note that I’m never there on weekend dinners or lunches, so that might be different) 4. The food is consistent. I always get the same thing every time and it always tastes great and I’m always satisfied. 5. SUSHI!!! I am OBSESSED with Sushi. Now, the lunch selection isn’t always excellent, so if you can get there at dinner, then please by all means do so. And their sushi is good quality. I wish there was more of an assortment there, but otherwise I can’t complain I’m kind of confused with some of the other comments left here. There has never been a time where we’ve had to cut meat ourselves?(unless this is a weekend thing, i’m never there on weekends). There is no need for menus, because… it’s a buffet. and it seems that you can get whatever drinks you’d like at the bar. At the table the only thing that’s available is Soda, Tea, Beer, Wine, and water. But honestly 9⁄10 probably going back there on Monday

I tried to order a drink but they do not serve alcohol. Beer, wine, and soda is all you can choose from. That was strike one. We had to ask for menus and the waitress did not understand. That is okay, but it was discerning. Strike two was the food. Just like every other restaurants in this area, the food was terrible. The rice was dry stickiness. The noodles were cold. The chicken and pork left a lot to be desired. I did not dare try the seafood. I will never, ever, eat there again.

I wanted to see this place for myself since seeing an ad on tv. They need an overhaul and felt like the food had been sitting out for sometime. Items were mislabeled so I’d fear to those with gluten or other food allergies. Vegetarians need not apply.

If i could give this restaurant a zero I would. Ate there Saturday night. Crowded. Waitress was very uninterested. She threw silverware on table next to us. Food — gross. No beef I could see. All chopped chicken. Never again.

Just keep driving. You’re really not that hungry. I came in around 4pm, and it wasn’t crowded so i was given A big booth to myself under a TV streaming today’s good news. Promptly unplugged that to charge my phone(the one lone table in my section wasn’t even facing it), and plugged in my Droid. Firsr round, sample the wares. One peking ravioli, my favorite! Its ok, but too doughy. Two large hunks of ham and beef, but soaking in their own juices so long you must carve from the top or its soggy… yuck. also avoid the clams/quahogs. They were boiled into rubber.

This is our go to place for a cheap dinner out with the family. They have something for everyone, including picky kids. The food is always fresh. I constantly see the staff bringing fresh dishes out. I’m not into sushi, so I can’t help you there. My husband LOVES the hibachi grill. They have a dessert table with cakes, puddings and fruit. There is ice cream, but it’s self serve and I don’t really like the idea of scooping out ice cream that someone just dragged their knuckles through. Our family of 3 can have a nice dinner out for under $ 30 and on Monday for $ 20.

We found this place on the way home from the Cape and we were hungry. The place was relatively packed, but it seemed most of them were just overweight duds looking for a cheap way to pack their faces. Ugh. We were thrown off by the name of the restaurant because one would think it’s a sushi buffet with a huge selection of sushi but it was anything but. The sushi, whatever pieces I tried, were typical Chinese buffet type sushi, nothing spectacular. I did try the hibachi which was ok — I had them make lo-mein noodles with veggies and shrimp. One thing to note which probably doesn’t matter to people stuffing their faces… no soup. I like to have a little bit of soup at places like this so I’m not over-eating but there was no soup to be had. Most places will have egg drop and hot & sour, but they had nothing here. A little disappointed by that but oh well.

Buffet restaurants have the stigma of being fast, cheap food for the masses that aren’t finicky, low standards, don’t have/want to spend a lot of money, and want to experience a lot of different foods at once. Well Hibachi Sushi Buffet meets and exceeds in meeting this criteria. The place is fine, the staff is adequate, but the food quality can leave something to be desired. It’s obviously not fresh and depending on what you try, can have a gummy quality. The sushi is very average, mostly below but there are times when I need a «fix» so this place will suffice. Mind you, I’ve only been here three times and each time I felt«dirty», out of place as I was the youngest and healthiest looking guy there, everyone one else was on their deathbed and/or severally over weight.

Hibachi — Yes, I can confirm that there is a Hibachi grill along the back wall. I didn’t try it. Someday. Sushi — There is, in fact, a refrigerated case(next to the aforementioned Hibachi) of Sushi. I haven’t had any. Not really my thing. Buffet — Now we’re getting someplace! Lots of variety. Lots of selections. Lots of slack-jawed locals looking at the variety of selections and standing in my way! Soups, appetizers and main dishes. A salad bar, a dessert bar and a self-serve ice cream chest. Amongst my favorites; leek dumplings, black pepper chicken, peanut butter chicken, coconut shrimp, hot and sour soup and crispy chicken wings. This place always has a high Asian/Everyone-else ratio, which I take to be a good sign. In fact I ran into the bartender(Dave) from my local take-out place(Foxboro Mandarin) in here one afternoon. He takes his family there for the seafood selections, and says he can’t make it as inexpensively at home! Prices are about $ 7 for lunch and around $ 11 for dinner. Cheap enough for a buffet, but even better if you avail yourself of the Hibachi and Sushi.

First and foremost I must warn you – the name of the restaurant is misleading. Instead, it really should say something along the lines of «American Chinese Buffet and everything else». You would think that«Hibachi Sushi Buffet» would mean a buffet filled with sushi and hibachi-cooked food. What I saw instead were tables decked with an assortment of serve-it-yourself long-cooked meats, vegetables, and carbs left out in mid-temperature all day and only a tiny sushi bar and grill all the way in the back, shadowed from the blazingly bright lights over the tables. Of course they couldn’t miss the«general tso chicken» or the mashed potatoes, onions, fries, and frozen pizza to cater to the customer base around here. I would not necessarily say the food was bad, but I was skeptical and stayed clear from uncooked foods and fruits. There wasn’t much of a crowd and I could easily guess that the food I was eating has been left out for hours. I am not one for greasy, unauthentic restaurants, but seeing how a friend of my mom has been boasting about the quality of the food and deal($ 10 per person), I couldn’t help but go with the family to try it out. Overall, the price is not bad but nothing was really appetizing or stood out for me. And as always, don’t forget to use the overly bleached chopsticks and eat the fortune cookies that they throw at you. Thanks.
