D & D Small World Montessori

My daughter has gone here for the past two years and she loves it. It’s a great little preschool. It’s not fancy, but it’s in no way dirty like another reviewer said. I’ve never seen anything like that. They’re very professional and experienced. They offer a structured learning environment, individual classrooms, constant supervision and direction, and teachers who are great with the kids and honest with the parents if there’s something the child needs to work on. They have a playground outside where the kids can play if the weather’s nice, and during colder months they play active games inside. They take field trips to places like the pumpkin patch and Deanna Rose Farm, and they put on a super cute holiday program every year. My daughter has flourished there. She comes home every day with a stack of assignments they worked on that day, so we can see what she’s learning. And the price really can’t be beat, for what you’re getting. I recommend it.

I toured this preschool last year. They should NOT call themselves Montessori. I asked where the Montessori materials were, and they said the pink tower block was locked up. What??? The place was dirty, and the faculty/​staff were the same. I do not in any way recommend this place. My son goes to a preschool in Lee’s Summit. I couldn’t find a decent place for him in Raytown.
