Considering the lack of Chinese cuisine in the Reading area, I feel as though I need to give them a 4 star rating just for their existence. Food is decent. It is what I call American Chinese food, definitely not authentic. Pricing is awesome, for $ 4 one can get a plate of rice with broccoli and a meat. Nothing beats that. Service is fantastic and quick. Friendly waitress and smiley kitchen staff.

Best chinese takeout around the area. It’s inexpensive and I love the chicken wings. Hot and sour soup is really good, too. This place has been around since I was a little girl. My usual orders are chicken wings with pork fried rice, hot and sour soup, and general tso. Most places give you 4 chicken wings, but this place only gives three. Chicken wings aren’t overly dry like other places. Small dine in area with server, and cleaner than most places.

The best Chinese food in the Reading area. The portions are nice sized. The prices are very reasonable. The service is fast. The place is always busy with take out and dine in business. Try it and you’ll see and taste what I am saying.

Like many little Chinese places, an unimpressive atmosphere masks some truly great food. The traditional favorites plus some interesting varieties are available. They are accommodating about modifying dishes to match taste. I usually get the Happy Family, but I skip the seafood. Most importantly, they have outstanding wonton soup! After trying hundreds of Chinese places in many areas of the US, I can’t find anyone who makes it as tasty as they do at Amazing Wok.

We’ve had an on-again off-again type relationship. Sometimes you’re good and I stick around, and everything’s peachy keen. But sometimes you screw up, and I go away for a while. After I think you’ve changed, I do make my way back to see for myself. So here’s me saying farewell for awhile. It’s definitely not me; it’s you. Right now our relationship is suffering so I think you need to rework what you represent and what you’re about, and maybe in time you’ll earn my forgiveness.
