This is the only church of 70 UCCs in Berks County to have passed an Open & Affirming policy welcoming LGBT people. A few other denominations in Berks have something similar, the Unitarian church and Trinity Lutheran. I know very little about organized religion, but this stands out to me as a grand effort to show tolerance. This church is also very focused on issues of social justice.
