Business Owner

My name is Jack Storti. I was born and raised in Reading, MA. For three generations my family has called Reading home.

I graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 2004 and went on to Endicott College in Beverly, MA where I graduated in 2008 with a degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice.

Throughout high school and college I always performed little painting tasks for family and friends and enjoyed it. I have been painting professionally for 5 years now. My favorite part of painting is the finished product. To me there is nothing better than walking out of a finished project and feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment in the job that was just completed.

Jack did an amazing job on our nursery. The walls look exactly like we wanted. We posted pictures on Unilocal for everyone to see. He also took the time to answer any and all of my questions leading up to the job via email. Additionally, he was flexible about dates and times so my husband or I could be there to ask questions. We would recommend him to anyone!

I have to start off by saying that Jack is one of the nicest contractors we have ever worked with! He is very patient, answered our questions and explained things to us very clearly. Jack is also very responsive and communicates at all phases of the project via text or phone. He even assist us in picking our color — which the neighbors love! The guys that worked with him paid attention to detail, were hardworking and cleaned up every day after the job was completed. I plan on using Jack for future interior projects as well!

I worked directly with the owner, Jack Storti, for receiving an estimate and then choosing colors and various options, such as spray painting the ceiling and painting the trim. Jack is extremely knowledgeable and was gracious enough to show me a few tricks of his trade while he was working. Through the entire project, Jack was professional and courteous. He kept my house clean and went above and beyond the expectations he set with me for his service. He did a phenomenal job freshening the white ceilings by spray painting them and didn’t get one drop of white paint on the hardwood floors. Furthermore, he is an expert at cutting, which basically means there is a straight, crisp line between where the wall paint ends and where the white ceiling begins. It looks great. He made it seem so easy when he was dealing with my cathedral ceilings. I look forward to doing business with Jack again.

I just bought my first condo in Charlestown and hired J.A. Storti to paint the entire unit including kitchen cabinets and living room built ins. Jack is really laid back and easy to deal with. He answers emails quickly and is detail oriented. These guys work really fast and efficiently too. It only took a week to do the whole unit including trim, windows, cabinets, and woodwork. They even came back to do touch ups and finish work after the rest of the work in the condo was completed.
Jack is well informed about colors and how they will turn out and is reassuring if you’re a nervous color chooser like myself. The actual work they do is awesome. The unit had clearly been painted by a real joker previously and Jack and his associate totally cleaned it up. The trim and windows look great and my kitchen cabinets look brand new. You just feel like Jack’s got it handled too. I wasn’t worried about how the actual work was going to turn out because these guys give off a reliable air. Probably because they are reliable. Hire them. You’ll be happy about it.

We called J.A. Storti Painting Co to help us restore and paint our front porch and double-​tiered back deck this past May. The wood on both the porch and deck was in rough shape and in despite need of a facelift. Additionally, our two young children were getting splinters in their hands and feet everyday from the damaged, dry wood. Jack and his team power washed, sanded, painted, and stained the railings and floors to look and feel like new! Jack was professional, reliable, courteous, and extremely genuine. His prices are incredibly reasonable and I highly recommend!

Storti Painting recently painted two rooms in our older home. Jack was especially helpful advising us about one room where the walls were in terrible shape. Once everything was repaired and the walls and trim were painted, the rooms were transformed. The work was done on time, for a very reasonable cost and with minimal disruption and mess. We are delighted with the results and look forward to working with this company again on our next project.

J A Storti Painting Co did interior work on our home in Hamilton this past March. Jack and his team did an amazing job. First of all, the walls were in rough condition and I thought they might have to be replaced altogether. Jack’s prep before painting brought them back to like new conditions. In addition to the walls, Jack and his team were asked to paint exposed beams and a large exposed HVAC system, both of which are incredibly time consuming. The final product was flawless and it was all done in under a week’s time. I was so impressed with their work that we have asked them back to paint the entire exterior of the home. Their competitive pricing and commitment to customer service really separate J A Storti Painting Co for their competition and you should absolutely call them to provide a quote on your painting job, large or small.

We had several painters come in and give us painting quotes for our new home in Reading, MA. Since we are first-​time homebuyers, we chose Jack because his quote came in the lowest. Do not let this fool you! His low prices are not a reflection of his amazing work! Jack came to our home with color swatches and helped us pick out colors for our various rooms. His colors were dead on and matched our taste and home perfectly. He came for 3 days, with his team, and did wonderful work. The house looks completely different and we are so glad we went with J A Storti Painting Co. We chose J A Storti Painting Co to re-​paint our Back Bay apartment and they expertly finished the job in under two days! Jack was great to consult with on color and he helped us choose a beautiful Benjamin Moore shade that we love. Jack worked quickly and has a superb attention to detail that is evident throughout the entire space. Everything from the walls, windows and trims were expertly done and we were beyond pleased with the final product. Our apartment was truly transformed and it is now a cozy and warm haven instead of a blank canvas.

Terrific painting company! Reasonable rates, fabulous attention to detail. They stripped the wallpaper from the horse hair plaster walls in my living room. After patching and painting, the walls are in such great shape they look like they’ve been newly plastered!
