Business Owner

Kevin Kauffman, founder of Kauffman Technology Solutions, is a 1988 graduate of Lehigh University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Psychology and held numerous offices and committee chairs, up to and including President, in the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, as well as serving on the board of its house-​holding corporation. After college, he immediately entered the corporate world where he would spend the next seventeen years, first designing electronic components and analog and digital circuitry for military, industrial, and commercial applications before transitioning to desktop workstation and network administration and analysis, telecommunications, inventory tracking and shop floor automation, database programming, and IT/​IS management. His insistence on hands-​on learning in each of these fields amassed him a wealth of practical skills and knowledge that simply could not have been gained from books or in a classroom.
