Mandarin Wok

I’ve ordered take-​out here several times and the General Tsao’s chicken was good. I stopped by today to eat in and the service was horrendous. The lady had her cell phone in the crook of her neck and she was talking to someone on it in Mandarin both times she came to my table. Very rude. I was finished for nearly ten minutes before she noticed and brought me my check. There was only one other table occupied. No wonder.

My first time ordering from here was tonight. We got a General Tsos chicken combo, sweet and sour chicken combo, egg rolls, and chicken in garlic sauce. I had some of the sweet and sour first, very dry, then bit into a piece to be met with an awful chemical/​rotten taste I immediately spit it out. I ripped open a few more pieces and smelled them, same terrible smell!!! So I opened up the General Tsos and did the same thing, almost every other piece had that pungent chemical, burnt rubber or something smell!!! It is still stuck in my mouth and nose even after brushing my teeth! I ripped open one of the egg rolls, which were over fried and greasy, tasted it, and it was like licking a block of salt!!! At this point I threw the whole order in the trash, all $ 32 of it, and am hoping not to get sick!
When placing the order they were having like 5 other conversations and couldn’t understand me at all, I had to repeat myself over and over at the top of my lungs for 10 minutes! So I didn’t even bother calling to try to explain all this and get my money back. Thier is no way they would have even understood me. I’ll file a claim with my visa debit! Took pictures of it all in the trash and this review hopefully will do the trick. Not a lot of money, but still! I minus well have thrown the money right down the drain! Very annoyed and quite disgusting!!!

I’ve been coming to this place for years (probably close to twenty, in fact) despite the fact that it changed hands a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed.
The current owners are very nice and go out of their way to accomodate any way they can.
Food is fresh and consistently top quality. Never a single problem that I can remember.
This establishment can become VERY busy on Saturday nights, so walk-​ins might want to reconsider and place a call-​in order instead.
Excellent tofu based dishes for the vegans out there, and no MSG.
