Middlesex Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital providing preventive care & treatment for dogs, cats and pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters). We have on-site surgery, dentistry, radiology, laboratory & pharmacy services and a well-trained, compassionate staff.
History
Established in 2000.
Dr. Harrison opened Middlesex Animal Hospital in January 2000 with the goal of providing high quality, personable and compassionate health care to the community’s pets. Much of her staff has been there from the beginning and their focus is to treat all pets and their owners with consideration & respect while offering the most comprehensive care possible. The hospital is located in downtown Reading next to CVS and has ample free parking.

Dr. Harrison received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She spent one year as a NIH (National Institute of Health) fellow and from 1989– 1999, Dr. Harrison worked as a relief veterinarian and an associate for various hospitals in the Greater Boston area until she opened Middlesex Animal Hospital in 2000.
