Used to be really good years back before it got sold. As time went on the food became sub par and the prices went through the roof. Also don’t eat in unless you want to stink like the French fry oil.

This is an established corner luncheonette in downtown Reading. There is nothing fancy about it; it caters to the lunchtime business crowd. The service is friendly, and it’s a good place to get a quick bite or wile away some time when you have business in Reading.
I’d give them four stars based on their meat chili alone, which is the heartiest I’ve had anywhere. However, the vegetarian chili I ate here during Lent was underwhelming. Top the meat chili with some cheese and add one of their decent side salads, and you have a satisfying meal. Also, don’t miss the home baked cupcakes.
