Good cheesesteak but service with an attitude. I asked for a takeout menu and was told in a rather short manner that they don’t have any. That’s a first for me.
I’ll probably stick with the Temple location. They aren’t charmers either but they at least have takeout menus.

I have been going here since I was a kid (20 we will say some odd years) and have never disappointed me!
ONCE… in 20 years and only once they messed up my order (very very minor mess up) and the guy that made the mistake still jokes about it (it was over a year ago)!
Everyone is always very nice, and their hoagies are great! I just wish they would take credit cards :-(

Love their sandwiches– I usually go with the turkey or the tuna. Good cheesesteaks too, especially the buffalo chicken. A great local place to go when in Reading!

Eat here! Seriously. I have family nearby and eat here every single time I’m up from Virginia visiting. Without fail. Great cheesesteak … can’t get this stuff down in Virginia. I like what they make here even better than what I get in Philly. Don’t forget the hot peppers.
Pierogies are good here too, though they’re the «dry» kind, not sautéed. Of course, you can’t leave without a small bottle of Icy Tea, the perfect cheesesteak companion.
