Established in 2013.

Garden State Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu Academy is THE PLACE in Monmouth County to get in shape, meet new friends, and learn the effective martial arts system of Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu! Competition proven techniques and training in a family friendly environment!

Chris, the owner of GSBJJ, who had been training at this location under a different owner and jumped at the chance to reopen the school as Garden State Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu Academy when the opportunity presented itself in the summer of 2013. With a seamless transition from Grappler’s Guide Academy to Garden State Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu Academy, the owners were able to keep all the positive aspects of their former academy (positive environment, great training, and awesome people) while working hard to make the new academy better then it’s ever been!
