They were rude on the phone and I did not call back.

This is only a review of the AYS videographer and DVD editing services. Maybe I should not have expected what I did from a company that specializes in equipment rentals, but they came recommended by a friend.
It’s been 6 months since my wedding and I finally had time to address our wedding video. When we received the DVDs from AYS, my wife and I were definitely disappointed with the quality of the DVD, cheesy editing, and portions of the actual footage.
I ended up paying a professional here in San Diego to re-​import the raw video from the tapes to my computer. I then used my Mac, iMovie, and iDVD to create a cleanly edited video. The video that AYS provided was poorly done and the frames skipped — resulting in choppy audio/​video. The footage itself was also frustrating, as the videographer stopped/​started filming at odd times — in the middle of an event or when the Pastor was talking; meaning that we missed portions of the ceremony. The DVD I created has no skipping, special effects, or dramatic cuts in filming.
As such, my wife and I do not feel that it was worth the money we spent and would definitely not choose AYS again.
