Boba Tea & Coffee

I’m not a Boba fan but I just get the drinks here without it. So far I’ve loved the Blended Almond Milk Tea and it’s great! I haven’t really tried anything else on the menu but I will eventually in time. I did try their Banh Mi Sandwich #3 special combo meat which was really really good!

I’m not a fan of boba tea but the banh mi are delicious yet very inexpensive. I think the sandwich was less than $ 4 last time I went. In short, this place has great food, is cheap, and has friendly and prompt service.

Quick service, great boba. Small menu but people seem to come here and eat (didn’t try it myself).

Awesome drinks and great service. This was our first time there and we know nothing about their menu or drinks. The employee was extremely helpful, even through the drive up window he made sure we were taken care of and knew what were getting. He offered us samples of whatever we wanted as our order was being prepared. Highly recommend if you are looking for something a little different. We will definitely be going back.

This is by far one of the best boba cafes around ! It is one of my weekly go to spots. They always provide excellent quick service and affordable prices with great servings !! Their Thai iced tea boba is my all time favorite and takes me back to when I first tried Thai tea in Thailand. You can mix flavors as well as get it blended, or iced. If you don’t like the boba (tapioca pearls, poppers, lychee jelly etc) you can order your drink without it :). Don’t forget to pick up a punch card. When you fill up 10 slots you get any size drink free!

In this area, this place is like the Beyonce of Boba Tea. Highly recommend.
The staff is very friendly and always works really fast to get their orders out. They have a wide selection of flavors as well. Thisnisnt a spacious place, but it is a good hangout spot to catch up with a friend. Prices are very cheap as well. The quality of their drinks reminds me of the boba I usually get whenever I am in the bay area.

I was visiting Redding for work and saw the great reviews for a tasty beverage that I enjoy. I had to make my way over and get a Thai tea, my most favorite boba tea. Staff was friendly. Excellent flavored drink. I will return and try other boba drinks.

After a lifetime of coffee drinking, I recently found my new favorite! Boba is a quaint and delightful small shop that invites you in for a large selection of different coffees and teas. The staff is so friendly that the very first time I visited I felt like I was being served by a life-​long friend. Even on just my second trip in, the employee remembered what I had ordered the last time I had been in. I will be returning regularly!

One of my favorite places in redding! I go their every other day lol I love their taro drink and their honeydew. Both are amazing! I can’t forget about the pork bbq sandwich omg super good Definitely a spot everyone should try

Powder…powder everywhere.
came back 3x through out the week and tried all kinds of different flavors with some friends and it was just very unfortunate.

Tried this place and OMG, the smoothie was NOT good. It tasted like powder and sugar blended in ice. It blows my mind how many good ratings it received.

Yummy! So excited to find milk teas with tapioca pearls and lychee jellies! Just like the teas we would get at tea stands in Taiwan. I got a green milk tea with lychee jellies and my son got a banana milk with boba (tapioca pearls). Definitely coming back.
I wish they would get some soy curls so they could make vegetarian bahn mi sandwiches and it would be perfect!

I live in Hawaii where milk tea and Vietnamese sandwich places are everywhere. I love Vietnamese banh mi and my wife loves milk tea so we frequent establishments like at least once a week. Thus you can trust my judgement.
Chicken Banh mi sandwich: The price and size of the sandwich is very good. It’s large and full of toppings. A generous portion of meat and veggies that actually was so much that it was hard to keep it all together. If you are into authentic, the you will be disappointed that the bread isn’t a true French baguette. It’s more like a French bread roll from the grocery store. But hey, for $ 4.00 in Redding, I’m not complaining. There are a few other types of meats like BBQ pork too.
Milk tea: Super way too sweet so make sure to order it with extra tea to dilute the sugar level. There were tons of boba which was a refreshing change from the chinsy portions in. Hawaii. They offered us samples before buying which was very nice.
Atmosphere/​service: Very clean and relaxed vibe. There’s a couch, and nice café tables. The two employees were very friendly.
I will be eating here every time I visit my hometown. The good food at great prices with excellent service made me a believer.

This place is okay… prices are a little high, service is extremely slow and they have messed up every order I have ever given them. I much prefer Aloha ice in the redding library, better prices, better service and better selection! Go there instead, you’ll be much happier!

OMG!!! I love, love, love, this place! Their boba teas are amazing. This place blew my mind. The fact that it was in Redding had me a little skeptical. I live in the bay where boba is on every corner.
I always get the lavender, black, milk tea, with no extra sweet. It is to die for. The BBQ pork sandwich is amazing and huge for the price. I managed to get two medium teas and a sandwich for 11bucks! WOW!
The staff is also super sweet and helpful. The drive thru is a huge bonus, but make sure you call ahead if you are ordering sandwiches!

It’s exciting that Redding is finally getting places like this. The staff is awesome and patient; will answer any questions about the menu and even offer samples if a similar order is coming around.
There is a frequent flyer card, a drive-​thru window, and ample seating inside the cutely decorated space. They have a complete coffee menu (you know, lattes, mochas and such) and an almost overwhelming boba tea menu with creative, interesting flavors for the adventurous. I’m somewhat boba naïve, but my blended mango milk tea was amazing and I had to slow myself down so it wouldn’t disappear too quickly. I also sampled the classic milk tea (yum!), blended strawberry (meh), and my friend’s blended taro/​coconut (genius!).
It’s an unassuming storefront on the outside and the parking lot is set up oddly; I used to work in this neighborhood and wish it was there when I was around. Will definitely be back for more boba and to try the coffee on my next visit to NorCal.

One of the best boba places in the north state! I find excuses to travel the hour from our house to come here. Their Thai tea is awesome! We have tried the lavender and taro, both delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous try the grass jelly, totally interesting. Have also have popping pearls which are so fun! I tried the peach and passion fruit with green tea and star berry pooping pearls. The service is great and so helpful in finding delicious combos for the taste buds. Love their selection, they have milk teas, slushies, juices, cream, flavored teas, classics like Thai tea and and a bunch of coffees and smoothies, iced and regular brewed teas too!

When you think of Redding, the word «Boba» definitely does not come to mind. However, this little hidden gem of a place is a nice welcome to this part of Northern California. Centrally located on the corner of Churn Creek Road and Hartnell Ave. in the heart of Redding, «Boba Tea & Coffee» offers a nice little variety of tea, coffee, shakes, and of course what they’re known for, their Boba drinks.
As I take a much needed break from work (since I do work in this area from time to time), I come here on a Monday afternoon in December around 12:45pm. Parking is fairly simple as they also offer a drive-​thru for those who don’t wish to leave their vehicle. As I proceed inside the quaint little building, I notice I am the only customer that arrives. As I glance at the menu, my eyes light up with joy as they offer Banh Mi sandwiches!
The interior of this place is quite cozy and charming. Inside you will find several small stationary chairs that are great for reading and enjoying a cup of coffee or Boba. Additionally, «Boba Tea & Coffee» has a nice little shelving display that showcases small artwork, candles, and a sign that reads «Live, Laugh, Love». There are also other modern tables where several groups of people can sit and enjoy their treats. However, no outdoor seating is present.
Since there is only one person working here (it looks as if she takes the orders AND makes the food/​drinks), I proceeded by ordering the pork Banh Mi sandwich (for $ 3.75). The sandwich itself comes on the traditional Vietnamese baguette. Inside packs a variety of vegetables that includes carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, white onions, and Julienned Daikon radishes. And of course it offers the smoked BBQ pork flavor that I have grown to love at other Vietnamese eateries. I don’t order any Boba as I already have a drink to compliment my Banh Mi. However, since I’m in this area quite frequently, I probably will give their Boba drinks a shot as well.
My sandwich is ready within 7 minutes. Since I’ve been spoiled eating at many other Vietnamese sandwich shops (primarily in Sacramento and the Bay Area), the size of this sandwich is noticeably smaller than what I had expected. However, I was starving to a point where that didn’t make much of a difference. One bite and the flavor was decent. All of the vegetables packed a nice punch while there was a generous amount of pork in my Banh Mi. The food was good but a bit small as I was a tad bit hungry when I left.
Overall, I would have to rate «Boba Tea & Coffee» a 3.5 stars instead of 3. I think with the cozy décor and interior as well as one person taking the orders while making the food and drinks, I’ll have to give this place credit where credit is due. I’ll probably be back sooner than later as I want to try a nice cold Boba drink. But for the month of December (which is the month I’m writing this review), I’ll stick to my hot beverages!

So excited for this little place to grow and be successful! Stopped in early on a Sunday as it was one of the few coffee places that is independently owned and actually open! I ordered a chai latte — it was amazing! Definitely the best I’ve ever had: it wasn’t overly sweet (as many places make them) and the spices were rich and savory.
Stopped in again recently, again ordered a chai latte; not as good as the first that I had. It still had the rich spices as before, but this time it was much sweeter. I will need to order a 3^rd to know which one was the fluke!
Ordered a Banh Mi combo sandwich: big sandwich with very flavorful meats, some carrots and cucumber, jalapenos, and a light sauce. Can’t be beat for under $ 4!
I definitely will be giving this place more business!
