History

Established in 1981.

Founder of the company, Robert Gardinier, was trained by Western Electric Company and has dedicated his career to fulfilling the communication requirements of organizations of all sizes. From school campuses, government offices and private enterprises, solving the unique specifications of each install and every service call presents an exciting challenge.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert G.

Business Owner

Robert was trained by Western Electric Company (a subsidiary of American Telephone and Telegraph) to install Telco Central Offices.

While at Western Electric, he was trained on basic electricity, electronic theory and digital theory, in addition to trouble shooting of mechanical and digital systems for Central Offices.

When Robert left Western Electric he worked as a Central Office installer for Citizens Utilities Company, an independent Telco located in Northern California. Here he maintained installed Central Office equipment, Digital lines, T-​1 carrier and trunkage between offices.

After 6 years, in the Central Office environment, in 1981, Robert started his own electrical and low voltage company as COMTEC Telephone and Data.
