Hansen’s Moving & Storage

We hired Hansen’s to move our 200 year old piano — we were so nervous but they were gentle, courteous and efficient. The guys were so friendly and clean.

These guys did their best to make a hot (temperatures in high 90’s) and stressful situation (more boxes and awkward items and time needed than anticipated and 15 stairs for most at the end) as comfortable as possible! They never let up on the task at hand and kept cheerful and helpful dispositions through it all. Their knowledge and abilities to pack the truck and not break a thing is absolutely remarkable! Thank you, Pete, Girard, Mark and Brenda for making this move a good experience. Hansen’s Moving and Storage rocks!

Mark Risk is a great guy but the movers themselves were less than professional. It seems like the best way to describe them is that they take pride in how tight they can stuff your belongings into their truck. We had several pieces broken. We asked for them specifically to help us wrap and pack framed art, and the flat screens.
There was no boxes brought for these items. They opened our sealed wardrobe boxes and slid dusty artwork in with our clothes. We didn’t know about it till we got to our new house.
They showed up late and didn’t seem like there was any reason to move at a brisk pace. Even though all of them were respectful, I kept finding broken and damaged pieces. The flat screens were wrapped in moving blankets and when moved in we had to clean sweaty face prints and arm prints from all of them.
We paid a fair price but really were disappointed with the level of care. No follow up from the company.

Hansen’s was fantastic to deal with!!! I had a piano moved and they were affordable and was able to move the piano within two days from when I called. They took great care with the piano and knew what they were doing. Thank you for a job well done!

I am moved to review this company before I even have lunch today. Highest praise for this outfit. Let’s face it — moving sucks. No one enjoys it, and it brings stress beyond measure. Will my precious grandmother’s vase break? Will my family jewels mysteriously disappear? To be honest, I have none of those things — but I do stress over the cost, the headache, the risk the movers will mock my dust bunnies (and their giant cousins). The two men who moved my crappy stuff were friendly, professional, fast, and extremely helpful; giving me helpful tips along the way. They were done in no time flat. Not a single break, scratch, or scuff. Worth every penny of the surprisingly reasonable cost. I would recommend Hansen’s Movjng with absolutely no reservations. Well, you must make a reservation, but you know what I mean. Two thumbs up!

They were very reasonably priced, professional & everyone was polite, friendly & worked hard. All my furniture was wrapped to protect it as much as possible. My only complaint (and it’s not with the movers) is that IF you are not going to unpack it & inspect it while they are there (or if you are putting it in storage) I would say DO NOT purchase the insurance ~ it’s a total waste of money. We were putting our things in storage and that is where the insurance ends ~ you don’t have a chance to look at things carefully. I wish someone had informed me of that. There were several things broken (thankfully nothing of great value & one should expect that in a move). Other than the insurance issue… GREAT MOVERS!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mark and his crew! Everyone was EXTREMELY polite, friendly and professional. They all had a sense of humor and seemed to enjoy their work. If they don’t, they put on a great show. They were a little bit late delivering (traffic), but definitely made up for it by being speedy and extremely helpful during the unloading. If your family can’t help you make a 500 mile move, its nice to have friendly, capable people to help you into your home.

Best Moving Company bar none. Professional packing. Saved us 10K.
