Jiffy Lube

I had several problems with this Jiffy lube. They over filled my car with 1 ½ quarts of oil and I blew a seal. A skinny little blond haired guy denied that it ever happened. The owner gave me several oil changes free and I let it go. I later had an oil leak so I went in and the same skinny little blond haired guy wanted to fix my oil pan gasket. I did not trust them so I went to the trusted mechanic that had fixed my front seal. He promptly fixed the problem by tightening the oil filter that jiffy lube put on. Their latest trick… They just happened to find a check engine light that they wanted to fix$$. This light was absolutely not on when I went in and Jiffy lube is the second place in Redding that has pulled this slimy mechanic trick. I called my trusted mechanic today and he said to ignore the light and he would turn the light off whenever I come in. I am finished with these guys.

I’ve never gotten an oil change here, but I brought in my car today to get one of my tail lights replaced. I would’ve done it myself, but the panel where the bulbs and wiring were was tight and I didn’t want to break anything by forcing it off. Anyway, I had made an appointment at my usual place but when I brought in my car they wanted to keep it for TWO hours! Now, I can understand if your shop is busy. But I’m only trying to get one light bulb replaced. It takes like 15 minutes (again, I’ve done it before). They also didn’t mention this on the phone when I told them what I needed to get done.
So I called Jiffy Lube last minute and asked if I could bring my car around. They were waiting for me already as I pulled in and got to work straight away. I had already purchased the bulb, and the guy that worked on my car only took about 10 – 15 minutes. He didn’t even charge me! (I’m betting the other place would’ve.) A pleasant experience here and I’ll be back to try out an oil change. Awesome service!

I’ve had a bad experience at another jiffy lube location, so I was hesitant to ever try another one. I’m glad I did, however. This location has had such great customer service, every time I’ve been. They never make me feel pushed to buy more, and I always feel like I can trust them. Another plus is that I’ve seen at least one female that works on the cars also!

Quick and easy experience. If you find yourself needing an oil change and are in the area use them. By the way– always google for Jiffy Lube coupons to save a few bucks.

Every time I have gone to this Jiffy Lube location, regardless of how busy they are, the wait time is minimal. The last time I was there, I was the only car there and it seemed like I barely sat down before my car was finished. I explained that I did not need any of the extra services and never felt pressured into any. In fact, the service technician even assured me that my air filter did not need to be changed, making me feel confident that I was not being misled on other recommendations. I will continue to use this facility and recommend it to others.

These men and women are the best. Redding, you are lucky to have honest mechanics who care about their customers. They helped me, free of charge, while I was in the middle of a road trip. I wish I could take this crew with me to Seattle.

This is the best Jiffy Lube ever — the service technicians are awesome. They go above and beyond oil changes — and have helped me with little repairs that literally would have cost me hundreds elsewhere. They are efficient and thorough. I won’t ever be going anywhere else. I’ve been in Redding for 3 years now — and after 3 years of regular oil changed they still have a perfect record.

Very helpful and friendly. They even let me take a couple magazines that I hadn’t finished reading because they were so fast and efficient.

Quick and friendly service! There were no cars in front of me when I came for an oil change, so I was greeted right as I drove up! They directed me inside and pointed out the complimentary coffee. Only took about 20 minutes to change the oil in the Mercedes-​Benz, which requires 8 quarts of synthetic. Very satisfied. Find a coupon in your mail if you can! It helps.

The Hartnell Jiffy Lube is great! The guys and girls that work there are always super friendly and get you in and out as quick as possible. Today I went in for an oil change and to have my brake light fixed. They noticed that I had already purchased brake light bulbs (they were in my trunk) so they just used those and didn’t charge me.
Great service and great attitudes I will not use another Jiffy Lube in town.

Great service and to the point. Bathroom clean (yay!). Grassy shades patch in the back where my dog could stretch her legs and potty.

I pulled up and they did everything great! Saved me money and kept me from over purchasing things I did not need.

Probably the friendliest, most happy to serve staff at a place like this ever. I went in on a Saturday and was surprised by how nice and friendly the staff was. They lose one star for how long it took. Close to an hour of waiting. I get that it was the weekend, but an hour? Come on, get more staff in there, refer to the other location, or expand your place guys. Way too slow.

Google map view shows it on the wrong side of the street. Guys are nice enough. Not the most reassuring though.

in my youth i was so into not having to be a chick that couldn’t fix a flat or change her oil. learned how to do all the simple things. now many moons later — please — someone do it for me. i went to jiffy lube cause it was close to home. they are quick and personable. only once did i have to wait (this last visit) — for what seemed forever — but it was just a half hour — cause they had cars back to back — i went in the afternoon — i usually go in the mornings after i drop my kid at school. they have changed managers since i first started going to this location — the manager is now at the market street location (his name is tony and he is awesome) — but service has not changed at the hartnell location. and if you like entertainment while you wait — of course there is the tv — but the mechanics are funny — they sing while they work — and always look like they are having fun!!!

At Jiffy Lube on Hartnell. I am blow away by the amazing customer service! In the short time I was there, I was greeting promptly, walked to the waiting room personally, offered coffee and magazines, was treated very well! They also took time out just to help a kid refill his bike with air!

The staff was on their feet and ready to help me the moment they saw me pulling up. I wasn’t bombarded with confusing questions but instead they took me into the waiting room and offered me water, coffee, and magazines. They let me know how long they expected it to take and were done within that time frame. They worked hard and fast and even threw in 3 different discounts! They had to replace a belt and were very thorough in showing it to me and explaining what it was for. They washed the windows, vacuumed the floors, and were all so exceptionally nice my experience was much greater than I could have expected! I would recommend this place to anyone — but especially females like myself that don’t want to be waved into a garage (they drove my vehicle in for me), talked down to (they treated me with respect), and left to wait in boredom wondering how much longer it’s going to take (they had a pretty good selection of magazines).
