Jr’s Across The Way Bar & Grill

Service was good, beer was good, seemed a little over priced but eh its beer. Food was just like any bar food, fried everything. Not likely we will be back but worth a stop on a lazy weekday.

Good service. Quaint, clean, friendly and tasteful. Tasty Guinness and affordable drink pices. The food was good. The atmosphere fun and lively. We went around 7PM Friday night for my friend’s birthday. As a first timer, I would return.

The Stalker Club of Redding (S.C.O.R.) has been on a roll the last few weeks finding great Bars in Redding. We as a group have been going to a Bar called Jr“s Across The Way Bar & Grill. It’s becoming a regular stop because of the great service and food. Usually you’ll find at least one of the owners there either Bridgett or Lyle Junior in the kitchen. Jr’s features 14 Beers on tap 4 TV’S and a Happy Hour from 3PM– 7PM. 16 oz Draft Beers are $ 2.50 with Premium Beers at $ 3.75. Well drinks are $ 3.50 and now features a full Bar. We need to mention the great service we receive from the Bartenders. Whether we are served from Bridgett, the new addition Cheyenne our young beauty that has learned fast how to treat Customers and Jessica who holds down the fort at night. We have never had a bad day or service at Jr;s. We need to mention that Jr’s has fantastic food. Great selection of Burgers and on Fridays features an expanded Menu. We have never been disappointed in the food. I understand it gets very full at lunch. The Stalker Club of Redding gives Jr’s a Six out of a Six Pack not for just the pricing but for the great service and that special smile we always get.
The club has been doing test on Beer coldness and the winner of our test is Jr’s with 36 degrees. Coldest in town!!!

I went here for the two previous business openings in the same building and I think this one definitely got it right. Great atmosphere and good location to stay out of trouble for a night. Great draft selection and I love that they have outdoor smoking section where you can bring your drink. Pool table is a plus.

Great sandwiches and burgers and cold beer. This is a great little joint, don’t be afraid to try.

Nice selection of beers on tap. Good food. Service is usually cordial, and I’ve yet to see patrons from the damn-if-I-wouldn’t-like-to-kick-you-in-the– nuts set. I don’t frequent taverns so often anymore, so when I do, feeling comfortable in a place is all the more important. Jr’s is a nice place to stop by to unwind or punctuate the day.

Sign is up, food is being served, along with many beers on tap and hard drinks as well.
Burgers were fabulous, many different kinds and huge… really you could split one as the fries and tots were plentiful. (for those concerned, I didn’t see a vegi burger choice…’-(
Bartender was helpful with the Giants game on one screen and Nascar on another.
note to staff: We’ve had friendlier service, you never know what is going on in someones life, however we are there to patronize the place. Note this was very early on a weekend night. And how about some low music since the t.v.s were mute (which I prefer).
Wobbly tables that ALL needed to be wipped clean of drink rings… gawwwd we want to ‘eat’…
Four star also because they have happy hour from 4−6pm ANY day they are open.
