The course isn’t nice by any means but they keep what they do have in good shape. The old man at the desk was the rudest person I’ve ever met in a service job… no greeting, one word answers, throwing keys around, huffed at having to take a debit card instead of cash. Basically, he was a nightmare and it reflected very poorly on the business.

OK, this is a slightly biased review since this is from my old stomping grounds, but recently I had the pleasure of playing the course with family and friends and have to say this is one, sweet muni course. Not terribly long, but the tiny greens make your approach shots tougher than you’d think. I was told it’s one of the best values in the Detroit area and I’d have to believe ‘em. It boasts of a really old tree, I’m saying REALLY old at the second tee box, and also includes some water, uneven lies and memorable times. There’s no practice range but there are a couple of putting greens. The clubhouse is friendly and cheap. So, make sure you pack your sticks the next time your headed up North. There’s always time for a quick nine.
