Usually when I get my hair done the stylist takes all day and it is such a drag that avoid getting my hair done. Emily did a beautiful job on my balayage almost 5 months ago, she blended the color so amazingly I’ve been able to go this long. Also I had my 2 year old with me, the whole process was quick and very relaxing. Now I am ready for a new look and I am going back to Emily! I am so happy I found her on Unilocal– this is exactly who I need after trying about 4 different stylist in the area.

Awesome, genius, talented, gifted and as a bonus she’s hilarious and easy to talk to. HIGHLY recommended. Worth every penny.

I have been to a lot of hairstylists over the years because of several moves throughout the country. Emily is by far the best stylist I’ve ever gone to! She is an expert in hair color and she is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of hair. She has given me exactly what I want AND keeps my hair healthy. Plus, she is a total sweetheart and genuinely cares about her clients. I love her and absolutely recommend her!

I’m extremely picky about cutting and coloring my hair but after looking through Emily’s work I thought I would give it a shot and I’m glad I did! Emily does an amazing job with her cuts and coloring she did exactly what I wanted and my hair is still healthy going from brown to blonde. I will not let anyone else touch my hair from now on!

Emily was highly recommended by a couple of friends. After last night’s experience, I now see what the hype was all about!
First, I have a crazy schedule and it’s not always easy to schedule appointments. That does not hold true with Emily. She worked around my schedule and booked me for a 7pm appointment. Incredibly grateful for that alone. Second, I had an idea of what I wanted in my head. I shared that with her and she was very up front with me. She clearly outlined why that would not be the best fit given my skin complexion and hair texture. Third, she was so so soooo easy to talk to! No awkward moments of silence. She was incredibly sweet with an awesome sense of humor. Her energy just radiated in the salon.
After living in the IE for two and half years, I can safely say I have found my hairstylist!!!

Emily is the best. My previous stylist left my hair a complete disaster by over bleaching and over processing it. He only seemed to care about getting it done rather than how to get it done in a healthy way. As a result, my hair was dull, extremely fragile and getting shorter every day because it was breaking off faster than it could grow. I didn’t think there was any hope but Emily has so much knowledge about hair and sincerely cares. It’s been a long road to recovery but it wouldn’t have happened without her knowledge and guidance.

I’m sure there’s a comprehensive list of Things to Have by the Time You Turn 30. And I’m almost certain that that list will have on it «a hairstyle that you love and works for you» alongside «a hairstylist that you love and works for you.» Thanks to Emily, I can check that off my list.
I first met Emily over a year ago when I walked into a professional salon (recommended on Unilocal) for the first time. I explained to Emily that I had no idea what I wanted or what to ask for and was willing to let her do what she thought best. After that appointment, I walked out feeling excited and nervous about debuting this new look. The more I looked at the colors Emily had put into my hair, the more I loved the overall look. The next day at work, everyone was raving about my hair!
I’ve been back to see Emily 5 times now and am confident I’ve found the stylist for me. We’ve done something slightly different each time and I’ve always been happy. When I go see her, I know my hair is in fantastic hands!

I am so lucky to have found Emily. She always accommodates my busy schedule and gives me her expert input and suggestions based on what she knows I like. I know I am getting the best color out there due to her creative, state of the art product knowledge. Go see her. You won’t be disappointed!

I kid you not, Emily Cain is an amazing hair stylist. I’ve frequented several popular salons throughout the area, and while they weren’t bad, none of them have provided the kind of detail and care that Emily does.
With every request I make, she takes my hair type, color, and lifestyle into consideration. Ex: When I first started playing around with coloring, she wouldn’t entertain the thought of doing an all-​over color because she knew I’d never keep up with the maintenance — even if I tried ;) Instead, I walked out with highlights that could grow out gracefully. On top of watching out for me on the front-​end, she tied things up on the back-​end with a 1-​week follow up just to make sure everything was looking good.
She’s always been available through email/​messaging to bounce around ideas and inquiries. I’ve never worked with someone so accessible, thorough, and willing to educate. Look, I’m sure if you took the time to develop a relationship with your stylist, you might get a similar experience but with Emily, you get the most personalized care on your first visit.
If you could care less about all of that, just know you’ll always walk out with a great cut that seriously LASTS. I’ve gone up to 6 months without getting a trim and my ends will still look as clean as the day I walked out of her chair.

Emily is a masterful hairstylist/​colorist! She is very passionate and knowledgeable about her profession and takes the time necessary with each client to evaluate, advise, and listen in order to provide an optimal hairstyle/​color for them. As an added bonus, Emily is FUN and very engaging and interesting! She always makes me feel like she’s waited all day to see me and is completely focused on me and my hair, which is so refreshing after «assembly line» experiences I’ve had in other salons.

Emily is an incredible colorist/​stylist! She will give you the personal attention you have been craving from your hairdresser. She does not give you a blanket assessment of your color– but instead takes into account your skin tone (will it match?!) — and lifestyle (do u have young kids and little time to spend on hair– here’s what to do!)… It is great peace of mind to find someone who looks at the big picture of YOU and subsequently lets you walk out the door as the best version of yourself.

Emily Cain is an amazing stylist, as well as colorist based on our conversations and the work she did on my sisters hair.
My sister had an appointment with Emily, and I tagged along hoping someone at the salon could squeeze me in for a cut. Emily said she could and I was thrilled. I had been growing out my hair for 3 years from a very short pixie cut, and I wanted to take about 5 inches off to get a short, textured bob.
Emily did a FANTASTIC job. She’s an artist with those scissors, and she gives thorough consultations to make sure that she’s on the same page with what you want. She was also extremely helpful with informing me how to style my new do.
She loves what she does, is incredibly easy to talk to, and I left feeling like a super model. I will definitely be returning to Emily for any future color/​cuts.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily! I will continue to follow her wherever she goes! She understands my hair, which is extremely thick and hard to manage at times, and she makes it much more manageable on a daily basis. And an added plus, she’s super sweet, funny and remembers you, not as just another customer but like you are getting your hair done with a close friend.

Love Emily! She is such a pro! She knows color better than anyone I know. I love that she perfects her work and won’t let you out of the chair without completely loving the look!

Emily is a color expert and true artist when it comes to hair. She loves what she does and it shows in my hair every time.
