Fox Banquet & Event Center

My wife and I needed a place to get married. After checking around with a few other spots, we chose The Fox. The staff was very helpful, especially the owner Eddie and management team Richard and Michelle.
We booked the venue several months before at about ²⁄₃ the cost of anywhere else. Michelle gave me constant updates about the wedding and really included me in the whole planning process; I felt like I was marrying her!
When the time came, Which was a busy December weekend, The Fox staff really jumped into action. We got to meet our Dj – individual contractor Dave recommended by The Fox because he’s Über familiar with the light set up, the food crew and were able to do rehearsals as many times as we needed. Eddie and Richard were extremely warm, treating us like family or his own employees. They even hung giant photos of us out front; we felt very special.
The wedding went perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed the moist chicken, warm rolls and fresh lasagna served as parts of the Buffett. No guest went home hungry. The bar crew also kept things going on between the ceremony and reception with Hors D’ oeuvres and mixed drinks. Our wedding was perfect. Michelle and Richard were able to create the dream we had envisioned for our wedding.

Went to talk with them about a non-​profit dinner there. They wanted to charge $ 4000 with us bringing in the food, drinks, tables and chairs. They would only provide the space. The owner was rude and the other woman (the duchess) treated me horribly and was slightly more civil to my husband.

My wife and I got married here in May of last year, it was the most amazing experience. Eddie is amazing and cares most about accommodating his customers. More than anything he made us feel like family… We bought the whole package venue, food, and DJ. food was amazing and the DJ did not mess up at all. The night was the most magical I’d ever had! Thank you to Eddie and his team, oh and I can’t forget to mention how amazing his bar tenders and food staff was! Thank you!

Fox event center did a great job in making my wedding gorgeous! Eddie, was always so helpful and his staff was amazing! Richard and Erica did a great job with all the last minute details. Price is very reasonable!

Eddie and his team our great and our 30^th high school reunion was perfect. We grew up in Redlands and 30 years later we enjoyed an evening of elegance and the guests had a fabulous time in our old movie theater transformed to a beautiful banquet facility.
I was the reunion coordinator for my reunion, as well as owning my own event management company, Main Stream Events and PR Firm and we look forward to working with Fox Event Center many more times in the future.

Amazing!!! We had our daughter’s Quinceanera here last Saturday, May 30, 2015 and we were in awe of how gorgeous it was when it was all set up and the lighting was on. David, the DJ & lighting coordinator did a tremendous job! Our daughter & her friends were on the dance floor all night long! All we heard that night is how good we did by picking such a spectacular place from all our guests. We were stress free thanks to all the awesome staff that took care of everything! Even the bathrooms stayed cleaned the entire night! The food was delicious! And Eddie the owner was extremely accommodating to ALL of our requests! Any questions we had prior to the event were answered right away by Pamela. Eddie’s son, Richard, again very accommodating and made sure to take care of everything the night of our event and did a great job behind the bar! Not to mention having our daughter’s name up in lights on the marquee on her special night & posters of her displayed on the front of the Fox… again all our guest were amazed with how much those little details added to the whole ambiance of the Fox. I would definitely recommend this place for any event you may have! We were not disappointed in the slightest! We were very impressed by all the staff! Thank you Fox Event Center for a very memorable night!!!

My wedding was May 16,2015 and if I had to choose a venue again I definitely would choose the Fox Event Center again. The staff was awesome they meet our every need. The miracle that was performed to transform the room into the vison I had in my mind, left me and my husband speechless. It was so beautiful, If you are looking for a out of the box venue and where customer service is first I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE.

The Fox Banquet & Event Center truly is a beautiful place. I had my sweet 16 there and the new owner, Eddie really put in his 100% to make it a wonderful that I would never forget. Everything was set up so beautifully and the food was amazing. Overall this banquet hall is amazing so book your appointment!

Our wedding this past Sunday January 18, 2015 was amazing!!! If you’re thinking of having your special event here… you will not regret it!!! You will be stressed free and will be able to enjoy your wedding day!

Everyone at the wedding was talking about how much fun they had and how good the food, music aboitfternd gorgeous the place looked. The place was beautiful arranged with an amazing ambience… exactly how we discussed at our planning meetings.
Eddie you and your team are very professional and reliable. Always willing to add extra steps and creativity after I presented my ideas to you. Always flexible… especially the day of when our guests of 400 came in early and were impatient… you still adjusted. Your staff were very compassionate and always happy.
Chef Hesh is amazing! His food is mouth watering and very savory. My husband and I loved our special dishes he made for us.
DJ David was amazing as well. His lighting made the room feel gorgeous and elegant… our guests also had a blast on the dance floor… Thank you for being able to add our traditional music on the dance floor…
Overall my husband and I had a wonderful time. Eddie and his team made sure we were well taken cared of and didn’t need to stress while planning and the day of. It was nice that everytjing reception related was there and all we had to do is meet with Eddie and his team to talk about our ideas and they took care of the rest!
The best part was that everytjing at FOX is affordable! We had people ask us how much we spent for the reception alone because they thought we spent at least $ 100 per head… that’s how good Eddie and his team at Fox Banquet and Event Center are!!!
Thank you Fox! We had a blast and we will definitely would host our party here again!

The Fox Event Center was so AMAZING for my 20^th high school reunion! The building is beautiful & the room where the event was held was amazing. The staff was awesome! Thank you!

What can I say? I love this place. The chandeliers, the balcony, wow, it’s beautiful. This is a great venue. Check out their website for their current indie movie showings and bring some cash to get your food and (alcoholic) drink on!

We had our 20^th high school reunion at this venue. It was the perfect place for a large amount if guests. There was enough room between tables to freely move around and mingle and the dance floor was spacious enough to dance the night away. The owner was polite, kind, and accessible throughout the night to help us out with any specific requests. Thank you Fox Event, for a memorable night !

My husband and I had our wedding here recently, and we both agree that having it at the Fox Event Center was such a great decision!
First off, the entire staff is wonderful to work with. They were very easy going and always willing to work with your wants/​needs. The manager, Eddie, was such an amazing and very friendly guy. He definitely worked with us on every detail of the wedding … From changing the seating/​ceremony set up last minute, to making sure everything was how I wanted it before guests arrived. Hesh, the cook, was also easy and great to work with. He definitely accommodated all menu types (vegetarian and vegan) and makes one mean Filet Mignon! Suzanne, the past Manager, also helped tremendously in the beginning stages of our wedding process! And David, the DJ & Lighting Tech, was a blast to work with as well. He surely knows how to keep a party going! All in all, the entire staff has wonderful personalities, are very welcoming, and amazing to work with!
We also received many MANY compliments (when we got back from our honeymoon) from our family and friends about how friendly and accommodating the staff was during the entire wedding, which we were so happy to hear about! My bridesmaid even said that she was craving chocolate after dinner (before the cake was cut) and Eddie decided to run to the store to get her some chocolate! She was in shock when he came back with a bag full of a variety of chocolates! How great is that?!
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a wedding venue. They definitely try their ABSOLUTE BEST to work with your budget and your needs, and provide wonderful service!

We went to dinner $ 15 and a movie $ 10 ! $ 25 !! 3 course meal. Salad, Drink, Main, Desert … OTD with tip was It was under $ 60 for the two of us. Nice to sit a table and watch move. Food was great and the Chef was so nice. Go figure a movie is $ 12 + drink &or popcorn $ 10 that is $ 25 right there. We sat down and were waited on.

I was recently a part of an amazing photo shoot at this beautiful and historic venue! When our group-​head told us about this venue, I was excited to be a part of such a historic place!
The outside reminded me walking back in time to how theaters used to be; very well kept and enticing appearance.
Inside, was the same; nostalgia swept across my mind, as I walked up the spiral staircase (one on each side) and went to the upper area where there were several sitting areas and two glamorous powder rooms. Very spacious, clean and era!
Inside the main theater, it was spacious and had many beautiful focal pieces that definitely «screamed» period-​piece, and again, very spacious, clean and accomodating.
I would highly recommend considering this venue for any mid to large social gathering where the host is extremely gracious, the venue is large, clean and screams California Nostalgia, and has all of the appropriate accomodations for all guests.
AMAZING VENUE!!!

My Boyfriend and I were searching for a fun place to go for New Years where we could have dinner and dress up. I happened upon the Fox Theater event ($ 60/​each) and was stunned at what they were offering: Lobster/​Steak Dinner, 5 course meal, DJ and light show, 1930 – 40’s theme! This sounded perfect and what a bang for the buck! I gussied up with a Grace Kelly Style Gown and my Fella wore his Class A’s (he is active duty Marines). We got there and and it was purely magical! Everything from the sweeping stairways (reminded me of Gone With The Wind”) to the Gorgeous Chandeliers… everything was perfect!!! The music was wonderful, the black and white movies playing on the huge screen were a cool touch tool, the food delicious, (slad was a bit sparse but who cares??) The open Bar drink prices were super reasonable and I laughed and danced and just really had a marvelous time! I cannot reccomend this venue more highly! I look forward to trying out more of their events

It’s nice to have a theater nearby that shows indie/​foreign films. My first time at the Fox was for a movie, «Searching for Sugar Man». We were greeted by friendly staff throughout the night. The concessions are much cheaper than other theaters and they serve alcoholic beverages. You can apparently have dinner and a movie here, which we did not do. But it appeared that the chef was very involved with the customers who did the dinner prior to the film and we will definitely try this experience upon our return. My only dislike of this venue was the sound quality. The acoustics and the sound system need improvement.

HORRIBLE. I came from out of town for my cousin’s wedding. First off the appetizers were good but cold. There was a girl that come around and refilled our water pitcher. There was a plated dinner with steak and fish. It looked as if it was high school cafeteria food. I could not believe now CHEAP and unprofessional this place was and how little food they gave and not to mentioned the food was cold when we got it. Then other guest didn’t get potato’s. 2 other guests at our table ordered the vegetarian plate and that came after we had finished our dinner one of the guests got her dish and there was a hair in it so she had to send it back and they gave her a new one then when she had started eating it she said that there was mint in it. I have never heard of a pasta dish have mint it it.

I’m so glad that I wandered in here to use the ATM after getting my haircut next door! I went twice this week, two nights in a row, to see The Graduate and Fast Times at Ridgemont High respectively. Tickets are $ 10. My friends and I got a table right up near the screen and kicked back, bought a bottle of wine ($ 18, not a bad price at all. They also have mixed drinks and beers for about $ 5) and enjoyed the show! They also serve dinner for an additional $ 10, we took advantage of this the second night. For $ 10 we got a plate of potatoes and a cheeseburger and a carafe of ice water, not a GREAT meal but definitely a solid burger and being served home-​cooked meals in a movie theater is a novel enough experience for it to be worth it. Other nights they were serving ribs, roast chicken… definitely will be trying one of those options another time.
They also serve your typical movie concessions… but at a fair price, no arm-​and-​leg popcorn here! You could probably get your ticket and some snacks for about $ 15 all-​told.
They show film on 35 mm, and the prints of the two films we saw were in great shape. The sound was a bit hissy for The Graduate, but perfect for Fast Times, and the overall quality of audio/​visual side of things was very good. The audience was small (not more than 25 people per night) and a fun crowd, people were drinking and cat calling during Fast Times. Good times, and nothing that would distract you from just enjoying the movie if you’re a cinephile (I would consider myself a SOCIAL cinephile, so I loved the little bit of community).
Upcoming films include Psycho, Alien, Sleepwalk With Me (a more recent selection) and a few other good choices. I’ll be there for every single film they’ve currently announced, its a great lineup. They also have comedy shows and a few other types of events, I’m mostly interested in the films personally. They also do private events but again, I haven’t looked into that aspect of the Fox much myself.
The building is also great, its been recently restored (to my understanding) and is just a neat place to be. The lobby has a sweeping ballroom style red carpeted grand stairway… its just a cool place. The kind of place that too often gets torn down instead of renovated and re-​opened.
Finally, the people who own and work the Fox are an all around nice group. My friend had an extra ticket that he couldn’t use on our first night there, and they remembered us the next night and let him in for free. The owner Jeff is a really friendly guy and comes around before the film to personally make sure everyone is content. I only briefly met the chef, but him and the concessions vendor are both friendly and competent.
