Makeup By Daniela

For my wedding, I looked into makeup companies but found that they charge A LOT as well as a travel fee on top of their already large fee. So I went to Unilocal where I found Daniela. I booked her because her price is SUPER reasonable, she use to work for MAC, and is located in Redlands which is the same city where my wedding was so there was no travel fee charged. I had Daniela and her assistant do my makeup as well as 10 bridesmaids for my wedding just last month. Her and her assistant were amazing! If you’re a bride like me, I was just a little worried how it would go over with all my girls and their makeup, but they ALL loved it and were stoked on how it turned out! Also I had 1 trial with Daniela prior to the event, and while I’m usually not a picky person, I do not wear a lot of makeup day to day. The trial took longer than expected because of me, and I had her touching it up here and there which she was more than happy to do. I felt bad but obviously wanted to get the right look for the wedding — more than my everyday wear, but not too heavy. My makeup the day of the wedding turned out absolutely perfect!!! It couldn’t have looked any better. I am thrilled that I went through Daniela and HIGHLY recommend her to any bride.

She is a really nice lady. For $ 50 I thought I was getting a good deal. She is again really sweet and professional. But I did not like the makeup that was done on me. The eye shadow was to yellow & glittery for my taste. The foundation she used was all wrong for me. My eye brows were to dark. I had to wash my face when I got home & redo it myself. I know some of the reviews are friends of hers because she mentioned it while she was doing my makeup.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with a so called «makeup artist» who went to makeup school in Hollywood and whatnot. Daniela was the opposite. I was naturally nervous of a repeat of my horrible experience the day of prom but I was SO HAPPY with my makeup! Daniela’s set up was cute, clean, and even had a little sitting corner for my mom to wait while I got my makeup done. It was a relaxing atmosphere and her music was good. I had looked at pictures of the looks she does beforehand and when I asked her to recreate a look, she tweaked it so it matched my skin color perfectly and did EXACTLY what I asked. I really didn’t want my makeup to look caked on so she did a light coverage that was just enough for my skin so it stayed on all night and didn’t make me break out after. We tested out the makeup in different lights so I was satisfied and the false lashes she used were natural (exactly how I wanted them) and made my eyes pop. Like I mentioned, my makeup stayed up from 3 PM (when I got it done) and survived a pre-​party, sweaty dancing in a crowded dance floor, and getting home at 3 AM. I can’t say enough nice things and there are NO words to describe how HAPPY I was with it!!! Definitely made my prom night better, and I might even come back for graduation!

I found Daniela using Thumbtack. She was everything I wanted and more! She even offered to do a trial appt for free. I am not from the area, so I couldn’t schedule that, but its really cool that she is willing to show you her talent in person instead of only seeing photos. I got married at Disneyland and need to find someone to come to my hotel for hair and makeup. From the second I booked her, she was very professional. She kept in contact all the way up to my appt time so I wouldn’t stress. She met me at the hotel and got right to work. It was hectic in my room, but she was super easy to work with. Her prices were very reasonable. She could have easily charged a few hundred more for the quality/​talent of her work. I was very specific about what I was looking for, but couldn’t really explain it well. I wanted more of a natural look. Not overpowering thick eye shadow or lipstick. She went with it and the outcome was amazing. Even after the wedding when I took my hair down, it was a perfect 2^nd hairstyle for when I went inside Disneyland for more photos.

This is my first review for anything or anyone ever on any platform– so it is a testament to Daniela.
I needed a makeup artist for my two day Indian Muslim wedding. I found Daniela through Thumbtack and set up a free trial at her studio as she is very affordable compared to other makeup artists. Her studio is very cute and well decorated. Right away she was so kind and really listened to what I wanted and at the same time giving me her professional opinion as well.
During the wedding she came to my house and was right on time. She fit right in with my bridal party and I and everyone else felt very comfortable with her. She was very professional and calm throughout.
So many people commented on my stunning makeup– my eyeshadow especially. I truly recommend Makeup by Daniela to anyone looking for a fantastic makeup artist that will accent your features and make you look gorgeous!

Daniela is the best. I hired her after getting a ton of other MUA quotes because not only was her price reasonable but she took the time to really understand the look I wanted to have for my wedding! Not only is she professional but she is super sweet. I was nervous to have my makeup done by someone for the first time but after meeting her (which she came to my house) I felt comfortable. She explained what she was doing and took her time. I got the look I wanted and then some! Her makeup selection is fantastic too. She used to work for MAC so she has a ton of experience.
On my wedding day, she was on time to my venue which was awesome since I didn’t have much time to get ready lol. She also did my hair. My hair is short so I wanted soft waves with volume and on my wedding day it came out beautifully. Overall I was completely satisfied with her service. She went above and beyond to make me feel and look beautiful. Thank you Daniela! Id hire you again in a heartbeat!

Daniela is my go to makeup artist. She did my makeup for my engagement, wedding, and maternity photos. I felt like a celebrity after she was done with me & the photos looked great!

Daniela is a true professional and expert at what she does! She did my makeup for a wedding and I wanted to do a dark smokey eye. Along the way, I was nervous since I never do my makeup dark, but the end result was amazing! Everything from my foundation and eyes to eyebrows were flawless, and I loved how I came out in pictures. She came from a MAC background so if you want that look, she can definitely do it, but if you’d rather a more natural look, she’s just as great at that too!
