Randall Halliday, DDS

I have to say, having my first extraction/​surgical procedure performed by Dr. Halliday made me want to go to the dentist more often… seriously. The only downside was, because they were booked, I had to wait a month. That said, the wait was worth it. I was put under a general anesthesia but woke up feeling fine as if I had never been under to begin with. No post-​op pain and just mild bleeding for the first few hours. The staff was pleasant and followed up with me via phone call just, a couple of days later. The office very cozy… sterile but, not so sterile-​looking (which made me at ease.) I just referred a friend of mine. Will be returning for all my future dental care.

A few years ago my husband had dental surgery with Dr. Halliday and was very pleased. When our oldest needed to have wisdom teeth removed, we chose to stay with Dr. Halliday even though he was out of our insurance network. Again our experience was a good one – he is kind, straight-​forward, and professional, and he made both me and my oldest feel very comfortable. Very important to a parent! Although his office is extremely busy, all of his staff are caring and wonderful, particularly during pre and post op.

I have a special needs daughter in a wheelchair and non-​verbal. They were great with trying to accommodate her wheelchair in their small office as well as trying to do x-​rays on a child that can’t control her body movements. This was the only oral surgeon I could find that wasn’t scared off by my daughter’s seizure disorder. He treated her and me with respect on both visits to prepare and remove her wisdom teeth. They were great.

I just finished another course of antibiotics, 21 days this time. It has taken 6months to heal my sinuses that punctured with the extraction. I went back to have him look because when I would drink, my nose would drip the liquid I was drinking. He denied that there was a hole. Now I get a message on Unilocal from Danika K. who works in his office, saying he’s treated her and her family just fine. I think if I had a good employee I would treat them good, too. But he was terrible to me. My husband said he would have punched him if I didn’t need to get one tooth out soon. If I would have read the reviews first I would have saved myself a nightmare.

I took my daughter to this person to have her wisdom teeth removed on the recommendation of her orthodontist. After quoting us a price for the procedure, he removed bone from her jaw, in addition to the wisdom teeth, which was not discussed previously. He did not stitch up her jaw. We left his office at about 3:3 PM, and she bled, and bled and bled. I called his office at 6:30 PM, 7:35 PM. 8:30 PM and was advised to «stuff a tea bag in her mouth. At 11:00 PM she was still bleeding so I helped her off the couch into the bathroom where she vomited blood all over the bathtub. On the way back to the couch she passed out from blood loss. I had to get a kind neighbor to help me get her in the car, so I could drive her back to this butcher. Then this person charged us another $ 300 «for the bone removal»! I complained to the orthodontist who referred us to him, and to the dental board. If you go to this person, good luck, you’ll need it!

Don’t waste your time and money on this place. You’re just another number to them. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed there. Dr. Halliday was very dry and arrogant. I basically gave them $ 100 for them to be rude to me, I am not going back and plan on going elsewhere with better manners.
FYI — Instead of apologizing for his behavior he’d rather not see you again. I guess all he cares about is money and not the well-​being of his patients.

Rude and horrible dentist. Will never go back to him again. Thank God I went to another dentist.

so upset and shocked this even happen are visit was great the staff and doctor were very nice and caring. except when they pick pocket my dad on april 29 2015 while he was under anesthesia and his money came up missing out of his wallet. they got my dad for a good amount of money he had that day. so if YOU HAVE to go here i will strongly advise not to take anything with you while they have you under. –5 stars if i could

I was in excruciating pain for 5 days because of a sharp bone spur protruding through my gum and scraping against my tongue. I made an emergency appointment at 8:30 am and was seen by 10:30 am the same day. In a matter of minutes, Dr. Halliday removed the bone spur and my pain was gone.

Excellent experience. Scheduling and access were remarkable, considering that the holidays had just ended. Evaluation and treatment were thorough and efficient. Procedures were well explained, and services promptly provided. I had a personal follow-​up call the next morning — which is an increasing rare, and totally welcomed event. Would give 6 stars if it were available.

Not sure if the negative reviews saw the same people we did ! Dr Halliday and his staff were fantastic! They got us in within 2 days for evaluation and the extraction 2 days later. Everyone in the office was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Halliday to any of my friends.

Rude and unprofessional. I was lied to when I called to inquire whether a certain drug I have had reactions to would be used during my wisdom tooth extraction. Only when I asked again upon arriving at the appointment was I told that they did plan to use it. Dr Halliday acted annoyed and offended when I tried to discuss my concern about the drug and instead of addressing the issue, kept repeating «***I**** went to medical school and have been practicing 40 years» in a condescending tone. I was extremely anxious and scared about this and he didn’t seem to care. He knew I had been waiting for months in extreme pain and used this to force me to do it how he wanted. I did have a bad reaction just as I did the last time I had this drug, a living hell thanks to dr halliday.
As that weren’t enough, on my first visit (consultation) he belittled me for having gone to another place to extract the other two wisdoms I had. Who the hell does this man think he is?
P. S. They also charge a $ 250 cancellation fee. Reasonable? (I have no idea.)

I had a tooth pulled. A week later, still in a lot of pain, I went in for a visit. Dr Randall Halliday was extremely rude and treated me very poorly. After I explained to him I was in pain and not able to eat, he raised his voice and told me nothing was wrong and there was nothing to treat. I myself could see swelling in my cheek and a deep redness in the gum. I asked him for pain medication and he treated me as if I were a drug addict trying to get something from him. I assured him I hated taking medication and only did so when absolutely necessary, Even his dental assistant acted embarrassed about the way Dr Halliday was treating me. She gave me some advice as I was walking out the door about further things I could do for the pain. I was insulted by Dr Halliday. DO not go to this man.

This place was absolutely awful. I was incredibly nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out and Dr. Halliday was not only rude, but made me feel worse about the procedure. He was impatient with questions I had and was judgmental regarding my dental history. His assistant or whoever did my X-​rays made comments about my attire, telling me that my shorts were not of appropriate length (I was wearing shorts with a large oversized tee shirt in 103* weather). She basically insinuated that I looked trashy. I was mortified! I am not only appalled that they treat patients this way, but more that they treat other human beings so poorly. I cannot recommend enough to NOT support this facility.

not the most friendliest personality but your not there to be friends. He has been doing his job for years and as long as he does it right thats all that matters. He isnt mean but he doesnt go out of his way to be friendly.

He did my wisdom teeth back in 2009 and my mom’s wisdom teeth in 1973! He’s been doing this for decades so he knows exactly what he’s doing. I’m not too sure why these other reviews claim that he is rude, because he was really funny and personable for me! He answered all my questions and I felt completely comfortable being there. I had no complications. They also use a lot of high tech equipment as well, so efficiency is a priority for them.
