ABODA Cleaning Services

We hired a team from Aboda to clean our small house twice a month. They were not good, often missed areas of the house, and broke 3 items during the 6 or 7 times they came to clean. When they decided to cancel on us during the day of a scheduled visit we decided to cancel the arrangement.
Poor communicators, poor customer service. This is a very large company so you simply don’t get any personalized experience.

As part of the Microsoft package, we got stuck with this service. Like other fraudulent cleaning companies, they do a great job the first time. Then they stop vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing the bath tub as the weeks pass on, thinking nobody notices. The cleaners are also unpleasant and defensive about what they «forgot» to do if you happen to be home when they come. I’m sure there’s probably good cleaners that do a complete job, but I didn’t seem to get them. As long as they changed the linens and dish towels and loaded the dish washer, everything else was pretty much a favor if they were in a jolly mood. I think you have to get their royal deluxe supreme diamond x10000 cleaning package if you want an actual quick cleaning, like the kind where your carpet gets vacuumed and your floor at least got swept.

This is the worst cleaning service I have ever used. They ruined an expensive, custom suede covered barstool — they neither acknowledged the damage, left me a note, nor apologized for it. The next week they stained the other one. When I complained, they sent a cleaning specialist who further ruined the material by trying to clean it — he admitted to me the damage was irreparable. In the end, they only offered to reimburse me for the clean, the furniture is worth 4X that amount. My dining room table has several deep scratches as they apparently moved items by pushing them vs. picking them up to move them. My floors were consistently poorly cleaned, the bathroom consistently not cleaned well. In addition, the team called several times to cancel the service at the last minute — I board my dog for the day they clean so when they do this, I’m out the boarding costs. I absolutely do not recommend them, find another service.

We needed cleaning for a 2-​bedroom, 2-​bathroom, 1050 sq ft apartment on fairly short notice, and got very lucky with Aboda. They are great to work with, called to ask for additional time (which was totally reasonable), have good rates, and had the ability to help me on short notice! My only minor «complaint» is that they didn’t get the marks off the walls or the refrigerator as well as I would have liked, but I know there’s only so much that comes off without just painting over it. Like I said, minor. Overall, a reasonably priced company who does a solid job.

I STRONGLY recommend Adoba. I am new to the Seattle area and it was my experience that they were the most responsive and did the best job of the three cleaning services I have tried so far. The best part was the service located a missing diamond earring I had lost. I really trust these guys. They do wonderful work and I feel very happy having them in my home!!!

I bought a 2 hr cleaning deal on groupon and decided to give ABODA a try. This is my first time having my whole house cleaned after I bought my condo and I was amazed at the thoroughness of the company. When I called, they scheduled two appointments for me. The first one was a walk through by their supervisor. She came on time and documented the areas that I needed cleaning. When I was done telling her the areas, she insisted that we would have more time and see if there are any other areas I needed help with. She was very professional and I had a great first impression with her. Before she left, she told me she would send me an estimate and a work order the next day and she indeed did. The email contained my cleaning date, time, as well as the work. Very organized!
The cleaners came a week later and they immediately went to work. I wasn’t home at the time but my bf was, so he let them in and they were so efficient and thorough that by the time I got home, I was amazed at how much they were able to get done with so little time. Keep in mind that my condo is almost 1500 sq ft and they had cleaned the whole house. Not only did they clean my floors, vacuumed my carpets, they also helped organized my stuff, washed my dishes, cleaned 3 bathrooms, 2 rooms, hallways, and stairs. I felt bad because according to my bf, they didn’t take any breaks — not even a water break!
Crazy! When I came home, the house smelled so fresh. I loved it. Will be using their services again.

Hired to clean a condo and patio after remodeling for preparation to sell. Two women showed up, explained what I needed done and they did it. A supervisor came to check it out. They did a great job at a fair price. Don’t know if all the employees are as good, but these two gals were great! Also, had to keep changing the date because the contractors kept extending the finish date and they were so understanding.

They did a wonderful job on my move-​out clean and showed up on time, friendly, professional, and efficient. A supervisor even came out to check the work while in progress and was happy. The price was great, too. Would recommend. And ditto – I called three different cleaning companies and not one could call me back. Aboda came out to the house, wrote an estimate, and was easy to work with the whole time.

I found ABODA via a Groupon offer and ended up replacing my housekeepers of 5 years. Finding someone trustworthy to come into your home is hard and I felt very comfortable with the ABODA team. Their work is consistent and their customer service desk is awesome! I have used them for the past year and now they are part of our family — not sure what I would do without Alma and Norma.

We called 3 different cleaners to get our townhouse cleaned up as we moved out of it, and Aboda was the only service that took the time to respond back. They were very easy to schedule, and prompt when they showed up. They gave our house the deep cleaning it deserved, and it looks better than ever! We’re extremely happy with how great the cleaning was. We’d recommend them to anyone.
