We’ve brought our puppy, Neville, here for both the Puppy Life I and Puppy Life II classes. It’s been amazing to see the progress that he’s made so far! Neville loves coming to class and he absolutely adores the trainer, Cara. He always runs right up to her and sits attentively at her feet. Cara has been warm, welcoming, patient, and very knowledgable. I really appreciate the focus on positive reinforcement and the individualized attention that we’ve received in class. Classes are small (6 or fewer), which is wonderful.

The best do my 9-​year old Bichon mix has ever gotten! I’m not picky about my dog’s hair, but this was really the best grooming he’s ever had. I love this place. He hadn’t had a professional grooming in a year, I’d been doing it, & he was a mess. I expected some judging, but nope! Not at all. The groomer suggested a different cut with «puppy ears» instead of leaving them long. Great call. It really took years off his appearance.
The front desk staff & the groomer are the nicest people we’ve encountered. The prices aren’t outrageous either. I like not having to spend more on his hair than I do for mine. We’ll be back! I recommend this place without any reservations!

All Things Pawsitive treated me with the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Anywhere. Ever.
We have been going to ATP for several years now and have been seeing Jamie as our groomer, who is awesome. Several months ago, Jamie left and so we tried another groomer at ATP. She was awful. Not only did our dog not like her (she used to run up and wiggle her tail for Jamie) but she also botched her haircut and cut her leg. We noted the concerns and she agreed to do a better job the next time. Unfortunately, she had another really bad haircut the next time. The third time, I showed up at our appointment, which I had scheduled over four weeks prior, and she told me she was running 4 hours behind schedule– no phone call, no sorry, nothing. I hadn’t allotted for my dog to be at the groomer for more than 3 hours and I couldn’t make it back before they closed. She was rude and snippy to me and my husband had to call back and ask them to just wash her. When I went back to pick her up, I found out that a different groomer had done the wash job and was rude to me when I picked my dog up. When I called back a few weeks later to book again, which shows my loyalty, they told me that we are «too stressful» of clients and refused to book us! Not only have we never received any apology for their terrible service, but they also never made right for the times they messed up. I will never return to ATP again and have urged others to leave as well. We have since changed to The Pet Stops Here in Bellevue and couldn’t be happier.

We have been bringing our dog here for ten weeks now. He is just a puppy so we thought this would be good for him to go to daycare once a week. The first time he came home so tired! Yay! Us, one. Puppy, 0. But then every week after he hasn’t been very tired afterward.
It’s a pretty small room they play in and we thought it would be good interaction.
However, the trainers are sometimes actual trainers. they don’t post videos on their facebook each day but more like once every week or two. It would have been nice to see him whenever he was in. And we never got an update at the end of the day, just a hand off.
All in all, for the price of $ 30/​day, I expected more: educated trainers, using opportunities to train our puppy instead of separating him when he gets possessive, videos each day on facebook, and a verbal update of the day when we pick him up.
Tomorrow is his last day, if the above things happen, we’ll consider coming back. In the meantime, we will find dog walkers on
and check out Bonafide for our baby.

After writing my review, I did receive a message from the doc at All Things Pawsitive. Although I did not ultimately take our dog there to be groomed, he did explain to me that they did have appointments that fit our needs. I still cannot give 5 stars, but did update to reflect that Dr. Cox immediately reached out to me to find out what had happened and how they could correct it.

At the start of the week, we had all intentions of sending back our Klee Kai puppy we brought into our lives three weeks ago. Though most of the basic training was under control (house breaking, kennel training etc) the whole «LETS CHASE THE CAT» issue had us really worried.
However through talking with trainers Joey Iversen and Cara Neely, we found that maybe there was a chance to break this unwanted habit. Today 9÷26÷2013 we actually had trainer Cara come to our home to see if this was actually going to a serious issue down the road. Within an hour she had trained both us (the owners) and the puppy with tips and tricks to keep his attention preoccupied on something other then the cat.
In short… AMAZING! I had my doubts, but through what we learned today, and what to keep working on in the future, today’s session has totally restored our confidence in the new addition to our family, and without a doubt will be signing up for her Saturday morning Puppy Life 1 Classes, held at the AllThingsPawsitive building in Redmond. Cara Thank you again, you have no idea how much we both appreciate everything you’ve done for us today!

Need a trainer who will take time to understand what you want your dog to do? One who can work around any of the things you have already taught your dog? Know the basic differences among breeds and adjust their methods to find the optimal one for your dog? Then don’t go to All Things Pawsitive.

i’ve taken my puppy here for grooming about 3 times after a recommendation from a friend. The first 2 visits, i was very happy with the result. very well groomed, clean, smelling good and all. The groomer Jamie really seemed like the best at those two times.
My puppy knows no strangers, he LOVES people, VERY FRIENDLY to other dogs. other salons i’ve taken him to, i was told he was just the calmest puppy they had seen.(i only changed salons because the cut wasn’t that great. 2 times to PetSmart, once to Pet Stops here)
On my first visit, even happy with the result, Jamie told my puppy was a bit of work which caught me off guard. Second time, same response from her, saying he had hair knots-​more complaining than not. i was thinking ‘that’s why i pay u’ in my head.
What drew the line for me was the last visit. i did felt a lil hesitant, but hadn’t found a new one yet so i said wth.
when i dropped him off in Jamie’s arms, my pupp was shaking so much, very afraid. of course, i understand dogs never enjoy getting groomed, but that was a lil odd, i thought.
when i picked him up, he dashed into my arms as soon as he saw me, and was still shaking. i thought he was just excited to see me. after getting home, i started to notice a few spots has been clipped out-​no blending what so ever-​especially around his ankles (which she complained before about his knots) looking uneven. i told her the type of cuts and length specifically this time, brought a few pix as well, but looked nothing like it.
while my puppy laying next to me on a sofa, every little move i make, i say ‘little move’ he freaked out n jumped off sofa. a lil noise he heard got him all alert.
that’s when i decided not to go back. Even as a worrier of nature, that was a lil too strange and felt i was the most horrible dad putting him through such experience.
Granted grooming isn’t the pupp’s favorite thing to do, i don’t want to feel unwelcomed or like i had a bad-​behaving, real piece of work dog.

This is a really great training facility for pups. It’s nothing fancy but its an easy location right off the freeway which is nice. The Puppy Life I class is offered at 2 times and I opted for the monday night classes which are a little late if you ask me.
My shy 9 week old shiba inu started coming her to get her more socialized with other dogs her age. She was being shy at first but by the end of the 1^st session she was coming out of her shell. After week 2 she was a different dog, friendly to other dogs and playful.
Positive training techniques are so successful that I don’t know why more people haven’t heard of it. The exercises were very basic and my pup already knew some basic commands but it was still a great foundation for when we were training at home.
for example, she was having a hard time walking on the leash with her puppy A.D.D. I would bring treats with me and when we got «stuck» in a spot as I called it and wouldn’t listen. I would pull out a treat and play one of the games in class to get her refocused and engaged and we would continue on.
The trainer is really nice and will answer any question you have and make recommendations for what you are going through with your puppy. I would definitely recommend this place. Every week, she would add some new activities and play off of the energy of the dogs. If they were really excited and wanted to play, then we would have off leash play time first then do our exercises and not stick to a rigid schedule which I think is key.
The class sizes are small and you can jump in them at any time. The most dogs in a class we had was 4 when we went.
Our 4 month old pup is now more confident around other dogs and socialized because of these classes.

Me and my dog have had nothing but positive experiences here. Reviews should really be for three separate services, the vet, the daycare and the grooming, but we’ve used all three and have no complaints. The front counter staff are excellent, and to the person who had the misfortunate of visiting at the same time as the dog with the runs, the vet services and daycare are in completely separate areas.
My dog has been going to daycare and grooming here for over a year and he loves it. That, to me is the best measure of how good the place is. Every time we go, he bolts inside and sits by the door to daycare with tail wagging a mile a minute. This place has done more to socialize my rescue dog than anything else we’ve tried, including classes and two dog trainers. My dog is only 11 pounds and has never had an issue here. Never so much as a scratch.
As for the grooming, they’ve had a bit of turnover, but the service has been good. Scrappy came home looking like the world’s cutest dog Friday. Best cut ever.

I don’t understand why it takes them so long to come back to the phones. Even after you leave a message with a live person, you don’t get a call back. Seriously people! When customers are calling you for business, it would be wise to take their calls even if you have to hire one extra receptionist to handle call volumes. That extra hourly pay may be worth it.
I call All Things Pawsitive when I need my dog to be in daycare once in awhile but they usually take a day to get back to me. I would take her elsewhere but I’m already registered here and it’s a bit more convenient. I’ve been taking my pooch here since they opened for daycare services.
They have a cool picture uploading feature on Facebook so you can actually see what Fido was up to the whole day. They also do themed day events so that’s cute too. Downside is that they have a very small patch of concrete land which is all the dogs get for outdoor time. It’s literally the size of a walk in closet.
It’s aight if you’re in the area. Meh

Good location, right next door to a top notch animal hospital.

No walk-​ins even for a face trim or paw clip. You need to schedule weeks out.
Having been a groomer long ago, I know a good staff can handle the odd walk-​in. Turning away clients and money off the bat is never a best practice and tips the hand on a lack of experience.

My dog Dash has been coming to daycare for several months and we were finally able to secure a weekly daycare spot — always had to be on the waiting list for cancellations due to how popular they are! Dash pretty much yanks my arm off trying to get in the door on his daycare mornings, which tells me how much he enjoys his time here. I love the staff and the pics/​vids posted are also fun to see after each day. I’ve never had any concerns with lack of attention or signs that he’s being bullied by other dogs etc. If Dash had anything on his wish list for daycare here, it would be to have a big outdoor area to run around in as well for the days when the weather is decent. Other than that, we’re completely satisfied!

My dogs have been going to daycare here for over a year, and they love it! They get personal attention and a consistent experience, which has been great for keeping them socialized and stimulated. The scheduled activities are fun and interesting for the dogs, like «Sounds of the Rainforest» and «Bacon-​scented Bubble Day». And, there is a Facebook page where I can often see pictures and videos of the activities for that day and who my dogs interacted with.
It’s disappointing to see lackluster reviews from folks who haven’t actually used the services or had some front desk frustrations. But, if you want the very best care and stimulation for your dog while you are at work, there is no place better. Just ask for Mike (front desk) or Kat (daycare) and the only disappointment you will have is hearing there is usually a wait list to get your dog in. This is because there are mostly regulars, like me, who have set days on the calendar and appreciative having a place we can trust so much to love and care for our dogs.

We’ve been frequenting this place for awhile now and have recently encountered issues with their daycare services. Having been through the puppy classes (Which we LOVED and cant say enough good things about their Trainer Carolyn) it disappoints me to right this review.
I dont feel that they spend enough time actually watching the dogs and correcting behavior or stopping potential issues that dogs may have.
Due to their negligence we received notice that our dog had an «incident’ and that we would be responsible for covering any injuries made from our dog (who is a small non violent dog who LOVES other dogs, loves playing etc.) They neglected to stop the other dog from cornering/​provoking our dog which she felt she needed to attack.
Follow my advice and RUN away from this place, you and your dog will thank you!

I do appreciate the front desk, the gentlemen is very nice and its obvious he is over worked and under paid. Ive had two experiences where out of three where I can only give one star. The vet, thank you for getting my dog in right away, the 2^nd time I was waiting over an hour in a cold room, and when I finally got service it was a burden to them the vet stated she would follow up in two weeks. 6 weeks later nothing. I call for doggy day care, after having paid the behavior fee, they failed to tell me its a year wait, so when the lady stated I will call you back and see if there is a way to fit you in once a week. Week later, no phone call back. Today, I decided I’m done, the Groomer is great I will continue grooming service. The front desk guy was sweet and understanding and letting my behavior fee go towards the grooming. I hope he is appreciated because he is way too good for that place.

We used a groupon for full service grooming. The front desk receptionist was actually the veterinary receptionist and had no clue what was going on with grooming appointments. We couldn’t see the grooming area which makes me suspicious as to what is going on in there. Our dogs groom was so, so. His face was cut crooked. On checkout the receptionist was rude about the tip. I was going to leave one and then she made comments on what it should be. Completely out of line. Then afterwards I received mailings and emails from them for vet care. I did not want to be spammed and receive junk mail. We are not going back

I was not going to review this establishment, but now I feel obligated to do so. I have not used their services, and here’s why:
My family got a new puppy and we’ve been searching for a decent kindergarten class for her to get started right. Also I’ve been searching for a doggie daycare so our older dog could have some fun without the ‘baby’. I’ve heard a bit about PAWsitive and decided to drop in unannounced to check them out.
In college I worked part-​time for a very well established doggie daycare***. I know the business well and therefore have high standards. (I also am a super picky pet parent anyway).
This place gave me all sorts of red flags!
–First there is one entrance and lobby for the entire daycare, groomer, and vet office. While we were there a sick dog with diarrhea was in this lobby. No one immediately escorted this dog to an exam room and out of the lobby. EEK! This screams disease spreading to me.
–Then the staff working the reception were both rude and inattentive. We tried to ask some questions and were treated like we were not even in the room. In a customer-​based industry this is simply bad practice.
–There was no trainer on-​sight. This would not be a huge deal except there was doggie daycare going on right then. It is very important that there be a certified trainer in the facility at all times during doggie daycare. They don’t necessarily have to be with the dogs, but they do need to be there to assist if there ever is an issue.
–We were not allowed to tour the facility unannounced. Why? This should be no problem if everything is being run properly. The excuse I received was that a lady was allowed to tour WITH THE DOGS present, got injured, and is causing a hassle. WHAT? Staff members should be the only ones allowed to be in the physical presence of the dogs. This is a liability issue for clients and just plain common sense.
–I cannot comment on the quality of the facility as I was not allowed a tour, but I do have major concerns on the set up because they gave me some excuse about trying to reduce alert barking. Dogs bark, it’s natural. Yeah you have neighbors, but that’s why you run a daycare in an area zoned for the healthy amount of barking… And there are always «howl-​circles» to get all the bark-​ies out at once in a controlled fashion.
— These issues were enough of a turn-​off that I didn’t even begin to address my more specific questions.
–I did receive a call back regarding my inquiry, and at this time expressed my concerns. They seemed receptive and willing to work on the «problems». However, I am not going to tell them how they should run their doggie daycare. It’s good-​free business advice, but ya know.
Overall I did get the sense this place has some good intentions, so I give them the one star for that… However, my experience with PAWsitive has made me dismiss them as an option for my pets.

I preface this review by saying that we’ve been taking our dog to Petco in Redmond Town Center for grooming for the past few years, and have been very happy with them there! But I recently got a Groupon for this new facility, which I pass every day, and I couldn’t pass up the deal. So I decided to try them out…
And it was a terrific experience! First, it was super convenient, filling out all the forms and requesting an appt online. Lauren called me back promptly and advised that the first Saturday opening was 2+ weeks away. I took that slot, although I wasn’t sure if my pooch could really wait another 2 weeks, as she was looking rather Yeti-​esque. A few hours later, Lauren called to say there was an opening this coming Saturday, and I jumped on that available slot.
Next, I had to drop off pooch very early on Saturday, as I had a 0730 hr appt elsewhere. To my pleasant surprise, there was a lady (Tess) there already at 0650 hrs, and she let me in and got my dog checked in right away. She was very efficient and very friendly. I was out the door by 0700 hrs.
I called the place around 1000 hrs (it may have been earlier) to see when pooch would be ready. I was told I could come to get her in 15 minutes! I remember thinking, this is a WAY faster turn-​around time than at Petco.
When I got my dog, she looked absolutely AMAZING. As good a groom job — or better — than anywhere I had ever gone. And she wasn’t all stressed out, as she usually is when I get her from grooming appointments.
Even without the Groupon, this groomer charges a lot less than Petco does. For a small dog, it costs $ 35. For those of us on a budget, this is a big savings.
Lastly, today we got a message on our phone from this groomer, asking how our pooch was doing, if we were happy with the grooming job, is there anything they could be doing better, and wondering if we’d be returning in the future. What terrific follow up!
I am SO happy with this place: the online conveniences, the hours of operation, the staff, the actual grooming job done, the follow up, and the cost. This is definately our new place.

We recently got two three-​month old puppies, and before adopting them, did a lot of research on daycares to make sure they would have a safe environment to be in while we were at work. We selected this one because even though they are new, they are owned by a veterinary hospital (which is next door) which actually got good reviews for daycare prior to their expansion. The daycare coordinators (Carla & Kat) have a lot of dog training & care experience and have been great about slowly helping socialize the puppies to other dogs, making sure they go out on a regular basis for potty breaks, and ensuring that they are happy & comfortable away from home.
They also have training and grooming services here which is super convenient for us — they have all positive reinforcement training, which matches how we want to raise the dogs, so we will definitely be taking advantage of these extra services to get them used to groomers and growing up to be happy well-​behaved pups!
