Such a great experience! The staff there are so amazing and kind. They use scrubs and hot rocks for the pedicure and it was so relaxing! The paint job was superb and I loved joking around with the owner. If you’re interested in a long term location to get nails done, this is the place.

I went infor a pedi using a Groupon and had the owner, Thuy, as my pedicurist. During our conversation, she commented that I needed a haircut because the cut I had was terrible and that she could fix it for me. Now, most people might be offended but I appreciated her honesty and went from the pedi to the haircutting chair. She proceeded to cut away using scissors and a razor blade. When she was finished, my hair was curving under like a Bob should. The true test was when I went home to try it on my own, I was amazed how a little blow drying and a round brush recreated what she had done at the salon. I took a trip back to the Midwest shortly after this experience, and friends and family raved about my haircut, even my mother who has a critical eye! Thuy is very straight-​forward and some may think too much so, but she is a confident woman who knows her craft. Her heart is in the right place and she truly wants the best for her clients. Go in, give her a chance, and talk to her about you would like to have done. I think you will have as great of an experience as me!

Do not buy this Groupon! I made an appointment right after I bought a Groupon the same day and there was only one lady working. She seemed mystified that they had an online appointment scheduler and seemed as if she hadn’t checked it all day.
The worst part was she thought it was funny that she wasn’t prepared at all! No do not reschedule with them, the next step of this process is getting my Groupon money back!

This was, by far, the worst manicure I have ever had. I came in for a fill. The manicurist (woman with glasses) asked if I wanted my nails shorter. I said I wanted them just slightly shorter, and asked her to maintain the pointy shape. She pulled out nail clippers and cut them much shorter without asking me if the length was ok. Then she grabbed a nail file and started filing the nails all different shapes and sizes and each one was extremely asymmetrical. I repeatedly told her the nails were supposed to be pointy, not flat across the top, and the sizes weren’t consistent. She also filed cuts into my skin and made me bleed even after I told her it hurt. After realizing she was incompetent and my nails were beyond repair, I told her to stop and I left. My nails are ruined. I have to go get a whole new set applied at a different salon.

I had a Groupon and appointment today. I went there on time but only 1 lady was working with guy’s hair cutting… I wait few minutes. I had shellac manicures my nails. So lady told me to pay $ 5 more to remove my shellac. I told her I never paid $ 5 to remove nail by Groupon. Also if I pay $ 5 more (totally $ 25) I can do shellac any nail shop and what is a groupon deal here. A lady just ignore or didn’t understand what I said…, she charged.
Even she scrapped my nail with hard tools and thick coats. It was a unprofessional and poor job. I never go back to here.

Friendly staff and they do a good job on manicure, but I’ve had the worst experience with my haircut, it’s uneven and the hairstylist seemed to be thinking about something else when «styling» my hair. I’d go back for man/​pedi, but not for a haircut.

Second time trying out this place. Same experience– long wait, very rude customer service, messed up schedules, 30+ minutes after the appointment, I am not making the mistake to come back.

Went in as a walk in and has no problems. The staff is very friendly. They are very hygienic and do great work. I am very happy with my nails.

It’s a bummer to see all these bad reviews! I LOVE this place! I’ve never had a bad experience. The owner is a character and maybe different than people expect, but for $ 20 I had a pretty awesome pedicure w lots of massaging, hot rocks… And my shellac a here have always lasted longer and looked better than any I’ve had elsewhere. The manicure included hand and arm massages– and then a shoulder rub, which was a new thing! She’s quirky but I find it endearing.

Worst groupon purchase ever. The deal says color, cut and style and the owner has her own interpretation of the same. additional charges for thick hair, styling means just combing your hair.
Moreover very rude and poor quality service. They favored 2 regular customer for mani-​pedi when the assistant was working on my color. I waited over 1 hour with color on my hair (which burnt my skin) and then over 45 min after putting conditioner (with my neck over the basin saying it will make hair smoother). The actual reason was the owner wanted to serve and gossip with her regulars.
Cut was literally uneven… there was no shape no layers not ever neat look… When complained about the same, the owner went away and started eating her lunch keeping me unattended. Then her assistant helped a lil to make it look less worse.
All in all… they should close the business if they cannot provide basic standards of good service.

I bought a groupon for a haircut and color and visited Allure for the first and last time!
I told the stylist what I wanted and she started to try and convince me of a completely haircut (I wanted a pixie, she wanted to cut a bob). I have naturally dark blonde hair and have colored it for 10+ years to a lighter sandy blonde. I asked her to touch up the roots and she said she’d have to bleach the whole thing… I was hesitant because none of my other stylists had to, but let her go ahead. When I got back to the mirror I couldn’t believe it– my hair was highlighter orange! She applied a toner (at additional cost to me for her mistake) and when that didn’t work she said I could come back in 6 weeks. Obviously I can’t walk around looking like Rick Flair for 6 weeks and keep my job, so I rushed to Fred Meyer and did a box color to light brown. She was totally unapologetic and completely ruined my hair. I shouldv’e read the reviews before buying the Groupon!

I bought a groupon and after reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting much. Fortunately, the experience was a good one. My nails look pretty good.
However, the owner was not there when I arrived and the atmosphere was relaxed and easy going, she came back about 2/​3s of the way through my mani and the atmosphere totally changed. She also been shopping and was trying on and showing all her purchases– super unprofessional. If I know the owner will be out, I would go back, otherwise I think this is a skip.

I bought a Groupon for a Shellac manicure and ended up getting a pedicure as well as my eyebrows waxed. First of all, the gal doing my pedicure smudged 2 of my toes trying to force my flip flop back on while the paint was still wet. She also in the process of trying to shove my shoe on got polish on my very expensive Reef flip flops. Then when she went to fix the smudges she first attempted to half-​ass it and paint over the top. It wasn’t until I was insistent that she took the polish off and repainted them. However, she still managed to smudge my big toe again. Then the owner did my Shellac manicure and eyebrow waxing. The Shellac manicure is so-​so and my eyebrows are also mediocre. This whole process took an hour and 45 minutes which seemed like an eternity to me. I would not recommend going here and I will not be going back. The whole experience was VERY disappointing!

Worst place ever. People who work there have really bad attitude and kind of rude. I will never go there. If I can do it with zero star differently would do it.

I was greeted with smiles and a playful spirit as I entered the salon! The ladies and the owner were so grateful and kind and we laughed and relaxed during the pampering! My nails look amazing I feel beautiful and then ready to take on my day!

Scheduling an appointment is almost an impossible task. The lady who attends to the phone is not well versed with English — it took me about 20 minutes to get her to understand that I needed an appointment after 4:00 pm.
When I did go in for my appointment, I had to wait for 20 minutes before somebody would attend to me. After all of this I was hoping to have a relaxing time only to have the owner talk to me RIGHT through my appointment. To end it all the mani/​pedi lasted only 2 days.
I would not go back here ever.

DO NOT BUY A GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE!
I don’t even know why the owner even sells Groupon services.
I called this morning to make an appointment and mentioned that I had a Groupon for a mani/​pedi, she did not have any appointments for today (Friday) or tomorrow (Sat) and she is closing on Sunday because of Superbowl, Monday I’m traveling and the Groupon expires next Thursday. The value of the Groupon is $ 20, so I asked her what I could I get for the $ 20 after the Groupon expires, maybe a basic manicure I wondered, she said absolutely not, she does not honor the monetary value of the Goupon, which is a clause written on the Gruopon itself, I tried several times and every time she said «NO, I Do Not Do That». «Call Groupon And Talk To Them». «I Don’t Even Make Money with Groupons»…“When The Groupon Expires Tha’s It, I Don’t Accept It At All”. I must say she is very rude also.

Hair color:
Since the owner is the only person doing this, be aware that your appointment will be a LONG one. Inbetween your appointment, she will be answering phone calls, taking payments, doing manicures. Something that should have taken an hour dragged on for 1−½ hour.
Aside from the drawn out experience, this place is noisy. This seems to be a favorite hangout for groups. During my time there, 2 women and 2 kids showed up, later on, one of their spouses. This is a small room. With one woman shouting conversations across the room to her friend and kids, it makes for one very annoying time. When they left, another group of 3 women showed up who talked and laughed at the top of their voices. Then the 3 women working there feel inclined to join in and it becomes a very loud interactive session across the entire place.
During the rinse process, I had water all over my face. Forget about your makeup. My hair color was OK. The drying was not. She literally hand dried my hair for about 3 minutes. That’s it. No styling, no product. It was still damp. Everywhere else I go to at least have some styling product and you look good enough to go out for the evening!
Very disappointing.

I went in to this salon 11÷5÷14 …4:00pm. … Walked in was greeted immediately by I’m assuming, the owner /​manager of the salon, she sat me down and i explained that i just wanted a all around trim. She basically took 10mins. and HACKED through my hair. She didnt bother to comb through it, wet it, shampoo it. .. . NOTHING. After 10 mins. she handed me a mirror. .. OMG…I WANTED TO CRY. I asked her why my hair was COMPLETELY UN EVEN EVERYWHERE??? She simply said that’s what I asked her to do. She then grabbed her purse, told her employee what to charge and very causally walked out the door.

Just moved to Redmond and this is now my one-​stop-​shop for hair, nails, and waxing. I recently had a Brazilian wax done by Thuy. It was quick, painless, and very clean. I was so happy they are open on Sundays and called the morning of and was able to be in and out within 20 minutes. I was so happy with the service, I scheduled a haircut the week later. For $ 25 I got a great haircut, style, shampoo with massage and even a mini facial! I’m done going to high end salons and can say I can’t even notice the difference in terms of skill.
Will be going back next week for a mani pedi. It’s only $ 20 now. Can’t beat that!
