Conundroom Real Escape Room Quest

This was a lot of fun. Took us the full hour, but we did steal the Mona Lisa.
I’d suggest this to anyone who is looking for a fun group mind-​puzzle or group bonding experience.

We took 4 people and had a great time. The puzzles were very challenging and kept us going for the full hour. Our age range was 17 – 45 and the kids loved it. The price is reasonable and I can’t wait to go back and do the 2^nd room Mona Lisa.

My friends and I really enjoyed our visit to Conundroom.
Our first impression, however, was quite negative. (I had booked the quest as part of a bachelorette weekend and, upon arriving, I was afraid that Unilocal had lied to me and this event was going to be a huge failure.) Firstly, there is no signage outside the building, so we were hesitant to park, unsure if we were in the right spot. We eventually realized that one of the staff members was waiting outside the door, but she seemed really shy and awkward, constantly fumbling for words, and had nothing (uniform/​nametag, etc) marking her as associated with the company. We were led inside and were kind of «sketched out» by being in what’s mostly an office park, again with no signage. We were asked to wait in a nondescript hallway while she checked to see if our tour was «ready.» The restroom in said hallway was out of order. We were really unsure of what kind of an experience we were in for. Once we began, we met another staffer, our «guide,» who introduced us to the format of the Escape and said he’d be available for hints. He was friendly but, like his coworker, could polish up his professionalism.
But then the actual event started and it was fantastic. Don’t want to give anything away so I’ll just say it was more CREATIVE THINKING than logic puzzles, as I had imagined. Everything surprised and impressed me and I can’t wait to do another one of these again. Really creative and exciting; awesome team-​building exercise; fun memory with friends.
I would definitely recommend this experience to others, I just think that Conundroom REALLY needs to work on their marketing/​customer service/​people skills.

OMG, I love this place! My boyfriend’s brother was in town for Christmas, and we were looking for something fun to do the day after. We made the last reservation at 10:30 PM. I wasn’t sure about it — I don’t think of myself as someone who is good at puzzles, but when I got there I found out that the escape room we were doing was TRAIN THEMED. I LOVE TRAINS. We were greeted by a super nice girl (the other person we met who worked there was also a total sweetheart), who explained the rules to us and sent us on our way.
We had 60 minutes to figure the puzzle out. It was challenging, but doable. I really loved how tactile it was — I always want to touch everything and having permission to do just that filled me with unbridled joy. The art deco aesthetic was delightful. I can’t wait to try their new escape room. I’m a convert!

Me and a bunch of my friends had the best time ever! This was our first time in an escape room and we totally underestimated it. We did the Monalisa quest and were unsuccessful but had an amazing time. The puzzles were so well thought of and the setup was brilliant too. We will surely go back again to try their other adventure.

so much fun! This is the second escape room I’ve done, and it was a blast. Challenging but not impossible. Lots of puzzles to solve, so plenty to do for everyone in your group. We did a group of 8 and it worked out well. There’s plenty to explore in each room. Happy to say our group made it out with 7 minutes to spare! I’d love to do another.

I’ve been to their moving train room with a team of 7. It’s a very nice room, with some interesting mechanical puzzles. It starts in one small room and then you unlock more and more space. It’s probably a perfect room for beginners, since our more experienced team finished the experience in just over 40 minutes. We’re looking forward to their second room!

Really well designed escape room. The puzzle was not too difficult to solve so its great for escape room first-​timers ! We went over halloween week and it was all set up with «extra» effects for halloween, which made it even more fun. Overall our group had a great time ! If you are a group of 7, it comes to about $ 26 per person, which is a great price !

I had so much fun! I went on a double date with a couple I didn’t know very well. It’s a great way to get to know people and learn how their minds work. It was so much fun, we’re going back when they add their new room!

For my boyfriends birthday I wrote out 9 clues about places we were doing to visit for the day. This was one of our stops today!
We went in as a team of two not sure what to expect. The room is challenging but not so hard that it’s impossible. The owner, who is also the guide, is a very pleasant young man who has designed a fun experience that forces you to use your mind when solving many clues to escape the course. I would recommend this to anyone interested!!!

I almost rated this four-​stars, but ultimately for the low price and with the fun that I had, it deserves all five.
The puzzles are fun and challenging without being too difficult. The puzzles really are simple – don’t over think them! One gripe is that my group’s general deduction skills and logic allowed us to bypass a certain set of clue-​gathering without us even realizing that we had done so.
Looking forward to the next themed rooms!

So much fun! I came with a group of 7 last night. None of us had ever done a room escape before, so it was a new adventure! We had a blast and definitely want to do it again.
The location is in a residential area, in a small, old, office building. Do not be discouraged by the building though! I thought they had a pretty cool set-​up. As soon as we went upstairs, we were promptly greeted by the host. Everything was very thematic, which was pretty cool. The host even wore a conductor’s hat! He quickly went over a small set of rules and guidelines, asked if we had any questions, and then showed us to the room without any hints or further explanation. We had 10 seconds to look at our surroundings before the timer started. We all kind of stood there unsure of what to do, and then just started looking around!
I don’t want to give anything away, because that would take away all the fun. The puzzles themselves were not that simple, but not un-​doable. They were just hard enough. Some of them took some time, and there was an assortment of things.
Ou group managed to finish in 43 minutes. We had a group picture taken with our completion time on it, which they put on a large wall in the main room on a timeline they created. It’s pretty cool to see the statistics of completion times!
This is a new, small, family-​run business. I definitely think they are on the track and we will definitely be back to try out the second escape room they are working on! Thanks for a great night!

Pretty. Freaking. Sweet. I came in with a group of 6 and we had a blast! It was the first time me and my friends did an escape room and it was a great first experience.
While not giving too much away, it started out a little slow but after solving the first clue it really picked up suspense.
Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the building from the outside — the interior of the escape room is beautifully crafted and engaging. My team was able to finish just before time ran out and I felt the experience was better because of how close we made it from the 60 minute marker (very «James bond ticking time bomb suspense towards the end»).
There will be another escape room (heist themed) later in September by the same people and I’ll make sure I’m one of the first to try it!

My family and I went and did this. 5 of us got nearly there. We were one puzzle away. We had a fantastic time. The host was great, knowledgeable and fun to speak with I think his name was T? anyway it was evening of Sunday the 21^st. He was cool, and fun to speak with.

Without a doubt, this is among my favorite things I have ever done. Without spoiling anything, I will say you HAVE TO just go and see for yourself! Bring a few good friends and don’t tell them where you are going. It is the coolest surprise ever!
I am extremely impressed by the gentlemen who came up with this and put it together. They deserve every penny they earn from this, and more. Five stars and two thumbs up!

This place challenges you with a 4 room situational based puzzle. End goal is to get out of the train in 60 mins. You need more brains less muscles.

A relatively new business focusing on team work and logical puzzle solving skills run by the two brothers. I like that this place offers more of a private teamwork atmosphere. You have a whole place to yourself for an hour puzzle solving how to get out of a locked train with a team of 2 – 7 people. I especially like that this puzzle solving activity is fun and challenging and the difficulty is right that it is not too overwhelmed or difficult that it’d discourage you from solving the whole puzzle game altogether. As a foreign customer, I also really appreciate that the puzzles really focus on using brain and logic and do not discriminate particular knowledge of certain cultures or languages.
We were a team of 4 people with no room escape backgrounds or history, but all with logical background (e.g. scientist, engineer, tech) and we still found the puzzles a fun teamwork activity. The puzzles also seemed to be at a relatively appropriate level (I asked the guys who run the place and they mentioned that about half to ²⁄₃ of the group are able to solve the puzzles and escape the locked train within a given time frame of an hour (obviously the more people you have, the more fun it is.
Overall, we were glad we took up a challenge with Conundroom Real Escape Room Quest and highly recommend it for group activities of 2 – 7 people (probably, for kids… age 12+ per their recommendation is appropriate)! Can’t wait til they make the next versions of the puzzle solving games!
