Derek and his team did a great job removing a 100+ foot cottonwood on our property which had started uprooting itself after a windstorm. His bid was very reasonable. He was super responsive. He was very thorough and his team left the site really clean. We would hire Eastside Timber anytime!

I found Derek on Craigslist which I knew was a gamble, but it was gamble that certainly worked in our favor. I contacted Derek and he came right out to give us a bid. He was very thorough, talked through some challenges with working on our property, and came back with a competitive bid. He was out shortly after with his crew. We had four hemlocks taken down and one douglas fir and we had a ton of chip piles that he and his crew chipped for us. They were amazing in taking huge trees down, very close to our house. Landed them perfectly. They hauled out all of the wood and raked up and cleaned up the area better than expected. They were friendly, on time, they did what they said they would do, followed up with an email thanking us for our business, which is rare in this industry. We have used several tree services over the years, and we plan to use Derek again in the future. We give him five stars and highly recommend him!

Derek and his crew where awesome. A tree fell in our backyard during the last storm. They came in for an assessment on the same day, and were able to come back the next day to remove the tree. They even fixed the fences that got damaged when the tree fell. Within 2 days, we were back to normal.

Derek was so easy to work with! I don’t know what it is, but getting any kind of landscaping contractor to come out in a timely manner or to show up at all when promised to give an estimate, or to do actual work has been very difficult. Not so with Derek. I got in touch with him, received an estimate and got 3 trees trimmed and 1 removed all within just a couple of days. He has been very punctual, responsive and polite every time. Will definitely use again.

Per my coworker’s recommendation, I hired Derek to remove four gigantic Douglas firs, 3 other trees, trim a few and ground the stump. It is a lot of work, not mentioning the weather was so hot. Derek and his crew did very good job finishing all work including clean up the yard as stated in contract. I would highly recommend Derek to people who need tree service.

We recently has several fir trees removed from our property due to closeness to the house. Derek’s bid was the most detailed and the rate was very competitive. His crew of 3 plus the tractors/​tools they possess made job progress super efficient. While they worked on my home neighbors also asked them to take care of their over-​grown trees as well.
