Here’s my 10 year timeline with Epoch and why we are return customers.
We bought a bedroom set 10 years ago from Costco online — unseen. We were happy with the quality when it arrived. I called Epoch when I couldn’t locate some hardware. I only wanted to know which pieces we were missing so I could pick them up at the hardware store — but they insisted on mailing the pieces to us.
A few years ago we went back to purchase a loft bed from their Redmond location. We went there because they are local and we know they make quality furniture. A friend was asking where we got the bed because she wanted one for her daughter too.
Last week a piece broke on our original set. I called and spoke to Neal. He found a substitute part since they had not carried my set for years. As it turned out, the piece he had didn’t match. I had to come back later, but they located the piece and the bed is back together now.
Everyone there has always been nice and helpful.

We are very happy with the futon that we purchased from Epoch Design. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and works perfectly in our guest room. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because of the poor experience that we had with the delivery crew. Other than that we felt that Mitch, Scott, Chris and John were all very helpful and the customer service was great. We will definitely purchase from this company again.

Neal was very helpful. We moved from Seattle to Florida and the movers lost some bolts for our bunk beds. I called to order new bolts and Neal sent them to me at no charge! Great customer service!

I didn’t had the feeling that they are really expecting people to come by to have a look in the showroom… You have to ring the bell so they can let you in, the showrooms are pretty small and most of the presented furniture is for children… Not really helpful when you’re looking for a bigger bed.
The employe was nice but I couldn’t say that he was really helpful. We visited their website so we knew what we wanted to see and he had to look it up in the computer to know what we meant. If that happens in a really big store I am the last person to say something but with their limited choices I would think that the staff has in mind what they have.
Well… we ended up not buying anything.
But as far as I have seen and touched the furniture that was present they do a pretty good job. Everything seems to be pretty sturdy and well made.

WOW, I can’t even say enough about how NICE everyone I have dealt with at Epoch has been. I had wanted to buy one of the Epoch bamboo bedroom sets from Costco but they sold out so quickly that by the time I was ready to purchase (having had to sell our own bedroom furniture first) they were no longer on the website. SO, I contacted Epoch directly and talked to them about getting the same set directly from them. I had everything I needed delivered to me within a week! I dealt with several different customer service people and they all bent over backwards for me. I would recommend them to anyone! Plus, the furniture is OUTSTANDING. We are 100% happy with the quality and it is really just BEAUTIFUL. Perfect for a small «beach house» look! THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN!!!

The rating is for the customer service ONLY. I would not be writing this review if Scott had a different attitude towards customers. In fact, he felt necessary to MOCK his customers even after we took the loss ourselves. -«Sorry to hear you felt it was necessary for you to sell your bed
outright rather than deal with us on this matter.» — mocking us for selling the bed as we didn’t want to waste time playing his game (what game? Please see below).
As customers, we not not begging for your service. It has already cost us a lot to deal with the problems we are not supposed to deal with. Scott has no respect for customers as Scott immediately totally dismissed the possibility of the bed having any types of problems when I first called in. (his own words: I have sold more than 120 of this bed in half a year, not a single problem. Fill in the sales tone with your imagination) However he requested photos.(isn’t it self-​contradicting ?) Scott demanded visual proofs to believe anything I say.(I said the gap was about the width of a palm on the phone. He said he didn’t know how wide the palm was. He wanted to see pictures) After I called him again after 1 day of sending the pictures as there was no reply, he now said the gap was NORMAL (well, you could have told us that earlier then we wouldn’t be wasting time taking pictures which could also be avoid if you had believe what we said on the phone) but he would ask the management (Again, self-​contradicting.) We didn’t want to dwell in this thing for too long as I never ever got any assurance that Scott was willing to offer anything. In fact, he was all over the place, always comeback with a different excuse. We sold the bed then he mocked us. And that was when I decided it was too ridiculous.
Beware, they are NOT BBB accredited.
(I contacted their CS through email in dec but it is not the main complaint here.)
The main supporting beam of the bed had a crack. I contacted CS immediately after my husband told me. They said it was not possible but demanded pictures and details. And she said if approved, they could possibly ship you a new beam implying it’s all of your responsibility to replace it. (Wow, can you tell I am not a fan of that idea?)

I ordered a dresser through Costco from Epoch Design. The first time, there was a chip on the corner of the top surface. They exchanged it. When the second dresser arrived, a drawer knob was missing. I called customer service, and they mailed a replacement drawer knob to me which did not match the rest of the drawer knobs. I called again and they mailed another one, but it still did not match. The drawers don’t line up correctly either. The quality of the product really needs improvement. However, the customer service is very good.

Purchased a dresser and night stand. Seneca model is hardwood Birch, well built and attractive. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Quality furniture at affordable price. If you’re in the market for good solid furniture I highly recommend.

and best of all they make it affordable.
I have bought a couple of furniture pieces from them @ Costco, my
first purchase was the The McKenzie Hardwood Bunkbed, the quality is
great (i’ve had it for a couple of years and it has no worn out) the
design is classy with a modern edge. I recently acquired the Pacifica
Media Console, which is truly gorgeous and it was easy to assemble,
looks Great, Sturdy. A great addition to my living room!
I highly recommend their products to anyone. Epoch by designs stands
behind their product, a family member once had to make an exchange on
a dresser and it was hassle free.

Bought two beds here, and love them! Beautiful hardwood, very sturdy construction, and it fits in great with my décor. Really good customer service, they’ll help you with any problem to make sure end up happy.
Recommend having two people to set up any of their furniture, but at least the directions were much more clear than IKEA!
